《Austeled one-shots》Guilty conscience (pt. 1)

Context: they're enemies
Tw: axe, blood, (kinda) violent
Austin teleported into the mii channel, ready to give Eteled some more "therapy".
Eteled notices him immediately, standing up quickly and pulling out his axe.
"Getting feisty are we?" Austin asked, his words lingering with challenge.
They both got into fighting positions, ready to attack the other. Austin made the first move, slashing at Eteled with his claws. He sharply backed away. He luckily missed Austins attack. He swung back at him. He just barely missed. Austin swung again. He made a deep cut in Eteleds face. He winced.
He yelled, placing his hand on the wound.
Austin was about to make a second attack, until Eteled quickly swung at his thighs.
A shock of pain ran through his body, catching him off guard. He almost fell back, but luckily he caught himself. Eteled swung again, this time at his stomach, making blood splatter over the white tiles.
He fell back, a second wave of pain writhing in his body.
He started backing away quickly, still on the floor. He knew if Eteled got a good hit on him, he would be fucked. Unlike Eteled, his code wasn't based in the wii, meaning if he died, he can't come back.
Eteled followed him slowly, dragging his axe along the floor.
He stated, smirking.
Austins pov
Fuck. Fuck! Fuck!!
No, I can't let him kill me.
Not again.
God, I feel like I'm back in .
I don't wanna die.
I can't.
I felt my heart rate quicken rapidly.
I felt my wounds burn.
I felt tears burn my eyes, blurring my vision.
I felt my body shake uncontrollably.
I felt my breathing quicken.
I don't wanna die.
Not again..
Not again.
Not again!
Not again!!
NOT AGAIN!!
Eteleds pov
I raised my axe, ready to finally end all the pain. All the times I've been electrocuted, finally it'll all just- stop.. My dream of peace will finally become a reality.

He raised his arms, trying to shield himself.
Pathetic.
I was about to take my final swing when I noticed something. I noticed how quick his breathing was, and how his whole body was shaking. He moved his arms up a little revealing his face.
He had tears streaming down his face, and there was a look of terror in his eyes, almost as if he were recalling a bad memory like- ..
I wave of guilt washed over me. I held the axe in place.
Why can't I just swing it? I could make this whole nightmare end in seconds, so why? Why can't I do it?..
I lowered the axe and dropped it somewhere off to the side, snapping him back into reality.
He slowly lowered his arms, looking up at me. He had so many mixed emotions on his face, I couldn't tell which he was actually feeling.
Maybe all of them.
Maybe none of them.
I said quietly. It somehow seemed calm him down slightly. He placed a hand on his neck, gently checking it was connected.
He sighed in relief, soon after teleporting away.
I sighed, sitting back down. The stinging wound on my face persisted, but I tried to ignore it. Thoughts filled my mind. It felt like I was drowning in them. Eventually I was able to fall asleep, despite the suffocating thoughts and sharp stinging.

The Horseman's Culling
After millennia of normalcy, a primal change came over the earth. A horde of gigantic drills burst through the earth’s crust all over the surface, punching a hole out into the light of day. From these dark chasms, creatures of fiction sprung out into a world that has never known magic or monsters. There was no warning, there was no gloating from some deity figure or system notifications designed to give humanity a fighting chance. There was only unbridled chaos and slaughter, as most of humanity’s technology no longer worked.Deep in the dark void of space, nestled within the huge mass of dirty ice known as Halley’s Comet, an ancient guardian noticed the change on Earth while in its perihelion approach to the Sun. On that day, Týr returned to the realms of mortal men.Warning: Rated 18+

The Goddess’ Chosen
Destiny is a strange force indeed. One simple act can create a ripple, one simple change can cause a cataclysm. One act outside of the individual would be enough to alter one's life no matter how insignificant that life may be. This is the adventures of Allisa Reed, a young girl from our world who found the legendary sword Excalibur and taken to the magical world of Avalon. On the other side of the portal with her friends by her side, Allisa is forced into a conflict she is not prepared for, ordained as the Goddess Chosen to bring about one of two possible outcomes; Salvation or destruction. ------------------------------------ Author's notes: This is more or less the first draft of this story. Currently working on a second draft. Spelling and grammar is definitely my biggest weakness, particularly in my earlier stuff. I've done some editing and hopefully have ironed out most of these mistakes in my older chapters though I'm fairly certain there are some mistakes still left. This story is ongoing. Updates are slow as I publish when a chapter is ready. Expect long chapters for most of it. Just sort of my style. Only available on Royal road.com
