"Hello Hello everybody."I said while walking into my mom's brokerage office where I worked along with her and other agents.

"Good morning."

"Come through pink bubblegum!!"Sam said as he looked up at me.

"Hi girl."Tabitha said and I went to sit at my desk.

Tabitha and Sam are the only two people who I have gotten closer with in this office beside my mother.

There are two other women and another guy.

I don't fuck with the other women because they're more of the older crowd and the guy, I haven't met him yet.

"Okay... bye bye. Good afternoon Kodi, can I talk to you for a minute really quick?"my mama said to me once she got off of the phone.

"Yeah."I said while standing back up and going to her desk.

She stood up and gave me a hug.

"You look great babe but don't wear those shorts anymore."she whispered in my ear.

"At all or just in here?"I asked her.

"In here or whenever you're at work."she said and I nodded.

My shorts were very short however I didn't think it would be a problem due to the fact that I still look professional.

Along with the denim shorts I am wearing a pink blazer, white t-shirt, white red bottom heels, and my medium pink Chanel bag.

I understand where she's coming from but I didn't put this on for nothing, I came out the house to look good.

"Good afternoon, good afternoon!"I heard and I turned around seeing some tall darkskin man walk in.

"Welcome back!!!"

"Ooooh my gossh welcome back Dylan!!"Tabitha exclaimed while running to him.

"Welcome back Dylan, how was your trip?"my mama asked him after he got finished with Tabitha.

"It was amazing I just wish I had you guys there to vacay with me."he said while hugging her.

"So I'm pretty sure you heard the news about us having a new agent coming to the group and into this office, and this is she. This is my daughter Kodi, Kodi this is Dylan one of our top selling agents here at the Adkins Agency."

"Oh so you're the beautiful young lady I've been hearing about!? Hi how are you!?"

"Beau—hi, I'm doing good!!"I exclaimed while holding my hand out for him to shake.

"I'm pleased to finally meet you."he said while reaching for a hug instead and I gave him a side hug.

"Ooop!!"Sam yelled from his desk.

"That's was cute."Tabitha said while looking at us as she went over to the coffee machines.

"Tabitha don't do that."I said while looking at her as I walked off to my desk.

I sat down at my desk and responded to a couple of emails for about ten minutes.

As I was doing so someone walked in and I looked up seeing Scarr causing a big smile to appear on my face.

He was holding two bouquets of flowers.

"Wassup everybody!"he said before walking over to my mama.

They hugged and shared a couple of words while he gave her one of the bouquets.

I stood up and waited for him to come over to me.

Before he did Tabitha stopped him.

"Hi Big Scarr, you mind taking a selfie with me!? I've been meaning to get one with you for the longest."she said while standing up and holding her phone.

I watched as he went over to her and got a quick selfie with her.

"Thank you!"

He walked over to me and hugged me.

Shit felt so good.

My baby's no longer a stick like he used to be, he weighs about 154 pounds and is almost six feet tall.

I don't know it just feels so good to have a fine, tall, sexy, strong, and handsome man.

"Are these mine?"I smiled at him referring to the flowers he was still holding.

"Yep."he said while pecking my lips.

"Thank you so much baby!"I said while wrapping my arms around his neck as his hands rested on my lower back.

"Get a room!"Sam yelled as we kissed each other and I snuck him the finger.

"What are you doing on this side of town? Why aren't you working?"I asked him.

"I was just stopping by to see you and let you know that I ain't gone be home tonight."he said and the expression on my face instantly changed.

"Why not?"

"Ima be in the studio."

"For how long?"

"Probably from nine to five."

"That's a whole day at McDonald's flipping burgers and shit. What you recording a movie?"I asked him as I scrunched my face up and he laughed.

"Listen I'll try to come home earlier."he said while grabbing my hand and pulling me closer to him.

"Where are you about to go now?"I asked him as I laid my head against him.

"I can't tell you all of that."

"Mhm alright then I guess I'll see you in the morning then babe."I said while wrapping both of my arms around him and looking up.

"Aight I'll see you later, I love you."he said while grabbing my ass and peeking at Dylan who was looking at us.

He then used that hand to grab my neck and kiss me sloppily.

"Wow."I heard someone say and I chuckled while trynna pull away but he pulled me back.

"Alex get out of here."I heard my mama say and we laughed.

"Yes ma'am, Aight I'm out baby I'll see you later."he said and I smiled while watching as he walked out of the office.

"Oh I just love him so much."I said while sitting down.

"We can tell."Tabitha said and I rolled my eyes while getting back to work.

"Hi Mr. Woods!!"my event planner said as I walked up to her.

"Nah Ms. Stacy that ain't my name."I shook my head no at her.

"That is your name!"she said lowly while pulling me into a side hug.

"No it ain't, you finna get fired too."I said and she laughed while letting me go.

"What's your name then?"

"Scarr!"I said and she laughed.

"Okay whatever so you're planning an engagement party am I right?"

"Yes ma'am."I nodded my head.

"Okay so what colors are you wanting? Golds, reds, silvers, black, white, neutral colors? What colors babe?"

"Since pink is Kodi's favorite color I most definitely want pink. I also want the colors white and silver."

"Okay now cue me in on how you want everything staged and set up."she said to me as we grabbed a seat and I explained everything to her.

It ain't no point in waiting anymore and I feel like Kodi and I are edging marriage.

That's why I called up Ms. Stacy's old ass to help me get everything set up and shit 'cause I'm finna get ready to pop the question.

We're at a comfortable place right now within our relationship so why not.

Next I'll be ready to put my lil boy up inside of her.
