I stood outside smoking waiting on Kodi to come out.

I made dinner reservations for us at eight o'clock and I've been ready since seven, so I'm having a hard time figuring out why she ain't ready.

As I finished up my blunt, I heard the front door close.

When I turned around she was walking down the stairs wearing an all black knitted see through maxi dress.

The dress had spaghetti straps, it was cut out on the sides, and had a v neckline.

She had knotless braids that were just pulled back into a ponytail, wore two big ass gold hoop earrings, had on some tall ass black heels, and a all black medium lady Dior bag.

"Baby I'm so sorry, I had a wardrobe malfunction so I had to improvise at the last minute."she said as I met her halfway.

"It's all good baby. When you got mon— you know what I ain't even gone do it."I said and she chuckled.

"Please don't baby."

"How we riding out tonight? The Huracan or the 'Vette?"I asked her as we stood in front of the car.

"The Huracan."she said and I nodded.

I walked her over to the passenger side and let her get inside.

Once she was in, I headed over to the driver's side and got in myself.

"Buckle up baby."I said while putting my seatbelt on.

I placed my foot on the brake while pressing start on the ignition.

"You ready?"I asked Kodi as I looked over at her.

"I've been ready since seven."

"Yeah right."I said while pulling out of the driveway.

Kodi hooked her phone up to the Apple CarPlay.

She put on some song by Beyoncé called Poison.

She sang the song until we got on the freeway and she turned the music down.

"Baby this is too much wind!!"

"Should I slow down?"I asked her.

"Yes because my lashes are just going every which way."

"You don't need them bitches no way."I said.

"They complete this look so I do need them. Where are we going though?"

"Stk baby."

"Okay fanccccyyy!! You've never took me anywhere like that before."

Tuh.

"Look there go McDonald's, you wanna go there? Somewhere that you're used to them?"I asked her.

"No I'm just playing."she laughed.

"Oh Aight then."I said and she played one of my songs.

"Ooooh that's what you on?"I asked her.

She turned the radio up before screaming along to the song.

I joined her and we just got vibed to my songs for the rest of the ride.

After about fifteen minutes, we pulled up to STK.

We got in line for valet parking and once we got to the front of the line, we hopped out and I gave one of the men my keys.

I grabbed Kodi's hand and we headed into the restaurant.

I handled everything in the front before they showed us to our table.

"Sit yo fine ass down."I said to Kodi as I held her chair out for her.

"Make me."she said and I lightly smacked her ass.

"Here you go."she said while sitting down and I chuckled.

"Nah here you go, misbehaving like I won't take you into that restroom."I said as I went to sit down.

"What we gone do in the restroom?"she asked me as she smiled.

"You mean what ima do to you in the restroom?"i asked her and she shook her head while looking down at the menu.

"Let's try something new tonight."she said to me.

"Nah because yo definition of new is always some off the wall shit."I shook my head no and she chuckled.

"It won't be off the wall this time baby, I promise."she said while grabbing a piece of the bread that was on the table as a starter dish.

"Aight so what's gone be the appetizer?"I asked her.

"Let's try the Tuna Tartare."

"Baby nah."I said while shaking my head no.

"Why not?"

"It ain't even cooked, the tuna is raw."

"Mmcht duh it's fucking tartare!"

"Sorry baby but ion want no tuna."I said while shaking my head no.

"Well what about the Jalapeño Pickled Shrimp Cocktail?"she asked me and I shook my head no.

"Can you just try one of them for me? Please?"she asked me while pouting.

I squinted at her.

"Yea but you owe me."

"Whatever ever you want daddy."she said and I nodded.

The waiter came and got our drink orders along with the appetizers.

I ordered a glass of water and she ordered a Strawberry Cobbler Martini.

I asked them to give us more time to order our entrees.

"Baby how does an apple and beet salad sound?"Kodi asked me.

"Like you losing your damn mind."

"I might get that, don't look at me like that!"she said while laughing as I mugged.

"They got all of this good shit that we're used to and you wanna get some shit you ain't ever had before."I said and she shrugged.

"That's your problem mister, you're always trynna stick with shit you're used to."

"In five minutes you finna pay for every damn thing you ordering."I said and she kicked me while laughing.

"I better not."

"Oooh you lucky she just walked up, I was finna get her ass."I said to the waitress as she sat down the appetizer and our drinks.

"Not up in here you not."the girl said.

"How about I get your ass too?"I jokingly asked her and Kodi kicked me again.

"Quit talking so much before I get your ass."she said and I chuckled while shaking my head.

"Are you all ready to order your meals?"she asked us.

"You ready?"I asked her and she nodded.

"I want the Maine Lobster Linguini with a side of Parmesan truffle fries with asparagus."she said and I smirked.

"Aight ima have the Waygu Meatballs and a separate side of sweet corn pudding."

"Okay would you all like some more pull apart bread?"

"No ma'am we're fine, thank you."Kodi said and she took our menus before walking away.

"Keep being friendly, ima slide my hand right across yo face."she said to me.

"Yes ma'am, I understand."I nodded while chuckling.

"Now let's try this tuna tartare."she said while grabbing a fork.

"Hell nah."I shook my head no 'cause I forgot all about that shit.

"You said you would do it for me."

"Mmcht. Aight come on, ima take this shit like the champ I am."I said.

"You wanna try it first?"she asked me.

"Hell nah this a team effort."I said and she laughed.

"I thought you said you were a champ?"she asked me.

"Yeah when my wife is alongside me."

"I know that's right."she said while cutting the Tartare in half.

"Give me your fork baby."she said and I shook my head no.

"I gotta use my fork."

"Okay well open your mouth."

"Nah I ain't finna just be sitting here with my mouth gapped opened, that's gay as hell. Ion need no nigga getting ideas or thinking I take dick anywhere."I said and she laughed.

"Okay well feed it to yourself."she said while handing me the plate.

I grabbed my piece and she did too.

"Okay come on, I'm ready to get this shit over with."I said.

"Okay now."she said and we both placed it into our mouths.

She started chewing it and I immediately spit that shit out.

She did the same and tried to grab my water and when I tried to beat her to it, it fell.

The glass shattered on the floor and everybody looked over here.

Kodi and I both were embarrassingly laughing out asses off.

Once we stopped laughing I looked at her.

"Look what the fuck you did."I whispered to her.

"I didn't do that shit, you did it nigga."

"Gone get us kicked outta this bitch."

"Oh well you didn't have no business ordering that bullshit."she said and I chuckled.

"Man whatever. Aye my boy, we got a bad spill over here."I said to one of the waiter's.

"Oh That's no problem, I'll send somebody over to clean it up."he said.

"'Preciate it."I said and he nodded.

Our food came shortly and I didn't hesitate to dig in.

Kodi had took her shoes off and placed them on my lap and I gave her a foot massage while we ate.

Ain't none wrong with my baby getting comfortable, her feet and shit ain't dirty no way.

I love every part of her and everything about her, I'll be damned if I ever let her ass go.
