"Sarai stop hitting your brother!!"I said to her as I walked into the kitchen and made my husband's plate.

Since he was gonna be out working late, I had to put his plate up for him.

I heard crying and I turned around seeing Sevyn back up from Sarai.

Her forehead had a bloody scratch on it and she was the one who was crying.

"I told you to stop hitting him Sarai, but Sevyn that doesn't give you the right to hit your sister!!"I said to him.

"Just for that let's go get in the bed."I said to them and they both started crying.

"Nope I don't wanna hear it, let's go."I said and while grabbing their hands and taking them to their room.

When we got to their room, I made both of them get in the bed.

"Mommy loves you both but I don't want you fighting. You're brother and sister, twins at that, you shouldn't be fighting each other. You should be getting along and loving each other. And you may not understand mommy now, but one day you're gonna fight each other and wish you wouldn't have ever did that. It's gonna be too late and you're gonna feel bad, so don't fight each other. Sarai you obey and love your brother and Sevyn you obey and love your sister. Now come here, both of you."I said to them and they got up.

"Say sorry Sarai."

"Sowwy broder."

"You say sorry too Sevyn."

"No."

That's the Scarr in him, don't make no damn sense.

"Say it now!"I semi yelled.

He mugged me like bitch no.

"Say it!!"I glared at him and he looked at his sister.

"Sowwy."

"Give her a hug."

They hugged each other and I smiled while clapping.

"Thank you so much, this is what you're supposed to be doing not fighting. Mommy loves you, now get in the bed."I said to them both as I bent down to kiss their foreheads.

They both ran to their beds and I turned on their favorite show before leaving their room.

I had to keep the door opened because they're always getting up once the door closes.

"Mama!!!"I heard Heaven yell as I walked back into the kitchen.

"Yes babe?"I asked her.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"Did you cheat on daddy?"

"Where'd you hear that from?"

"Did you do it?"

"Who told you that Heaven?"

"Is it true or not?"she shrugged.

"It doesn't matter if it's true or not. Who told you that!?"

"It doesn't matter who told me either!! Did you do it or not!!?"she yelled and I looked at her like she was crazy.

"Who the fu— Heaven who are you yelling at!?"

"Did you cheat on him or not!!? I'm yelling at you, answer the qu—"she yelled while coming closer to me and I hit her in the mouth.

She stared at me before storming off upstairs to her room.

I instantly felt my eyes fill up with tears.

It was never in my intent to hurt her or anything, but I just wasn't about to sit there and allow her to disrespect me like that.

After cleaning the kitchen, I headed to the bedroom Scarr and I shared.

I needed some time to clear my mind so I filled the bathtub with water and bubble bath.

This wasn't the first encounter I've had with her like this.

Soon after we got back from Cali, her and I argued about her going to one of her friend's sleepover's.

A friend that I had told her to cut off a long ass time ago.

I didn't hit her that time and she didn't really yell at me but she did have a smart mouth about the shit and I got on her ass.

I'm not sure what her problem is but if I don't tolerate disrespect from some random, I'm most definitely not gonna tolerate it from her ass.

"You good baby?"Scarr asked he as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yeah."I lied.

"Talk to me about it."he said while standing next to me.

"It's Heaven. I- I just can't deal with her disrespectful ass anymore."

"What she do?"

I explained everything to him and he analyzed his thoughts for a moment.

"I feel bad because I hit her in the mouth but at the same time I don't because what she said was wrong!"

"Yeah she was wrong but you were too as her parent, you ain't have to put your hands on her."

"Alexander punishment isn't working, what else can I do besides that."

"I mean there's really nothing we can do and we can't blame anybody but ourselves for the way she acts. We let her get too comfortable and now she thinks it's okay to run over us."

"Okay so at what point do we draw the line?"

"Baby it's honestly about that time. She's in her rebellious stage of life, shit like that is gonna happen."

"So you think just because you talked to your mama like that she can talk to me or act towards me like that?"

"I'm not saying that, I'm just saying she just hit puberty so we're gonna have to get comfortable and accept that kind of behavior from her."

"I understand that but I'm her mother aside from you, I do a lot of shit for her and I sacrifice a lot of things for Heaven. She shouldn't be able to treat me any kind of way because I'm not her fucking friend, I'm her mother!"I cried as Scarr pulled me into a hug.

"Baby the only way you gone get over this is by communicating. Talk to her and tell her how you feel, make her understand that shit 'cause she obviously don't get it. Talk to her and just be done with it. If that don't work then let me handle it or start taking shit away from her, you ain't gotta put your hands on her or whoop the shit out of her."

I nodded while wiping my face.

"Don't let that bring down baby. Heaven is not only my daughter but she's yours, you also take care of a lot of shit around here. you have the right to put her in her place. That doesn't mean that she's exempt from having an opinion about something or feeling the way she does, but the moment she steps out of line that's when you do your part."Scarr explained to me and I nodded.

I honestly couldn't believe these words were coming from his mouth when he's disrespected his mother on several occasions.

I'm just gonna go ahead and take his advice but I still won't be tolerating no disrespect from anybody.
