The time when we have to receive guests from the Pacific Ocean has come. This is also the first time that we receive sirens as our guests. The werewolf packs are still getting used to the idea of interacting with the creatures outside of werewolves and humans.

I and Damien are simply waiting in our mansion foyer. I was wearing a pastel blue jacket that comes with the matching pants underneath the jacket I was wearing the white blouse. While Damien was wearing the new set of clothes that we bought. Damien wasn't exactly thrilled about the cost but on the other hand, I don't care because now I have a credit card that has access to the pack's fund.

"They are 10 minutes late." Damien muttered under his breath. I simply pretended that I didn't hear him.

I was busy replying to some emails on my phone so I could leave work more early.

"Seriously, it doesn't bother you?" Damien asks me and I slowly looked at him.

"Anyone tends to be late." I replied nonchalantly.

"Even if they promised that they will be here 10 minutes ago?" Looks like Damien doesn't like people who are always late.

"Well maybe they miscalculated, maybe they are stuck in the traffic. Besides it's not because they need this meeting as much as our pack needs it." I said and Damien wasn't satisfied with my answer.

The Nauloria Empire is the biggest country in the Pacific Ocean so the fact that the prince is coming to visit us is very impressive.

'The car has arrived in front of the mansion' The pack's member mind linked us.

I and Damien went outside to greet them.

We stood on the porch of the mansion and just put warm smiles on faces as if one of us wasn't frustrated by them just now.

The difference between sirens and werewolves besides their shifting form is that sirens aren't assigned to the soulmates but they can choose an eternal partner.

Sirens tend to hypnotize with their beauty. Not in a literal way.

Since I lived amongst the siren during my childhood till my teenage years, I got used to their charm.

When I saw the guards who are sirens their attractive looks didn't phase me.

One by one, guests started getting out of the car. In total, we have the prince, the Naulorian diplomats, the minister of finances, and of course their assistants. Though we have not a lot of guests they are still very influential. If the meeting goes well then the pack will be visited by siren entrepreneurs.

I held my stance pretty well until I looked into the eyes of one of the guests.

One of the eyes had brown color and the other eye had a blue eye. In my life, I've never met a person with heterochromia.

My curiosity made me continuously stare at the person. Their raven black hair, their dimples, an alluring smile, and how he looks good in the suit.

I closed my eyes and took a slow breath.

I guess I wasn't immune to sirens after all but I need to keep myself together.

"Welcome to the Silver Forest pack, I'm Damien Knight." Damien introduced to the guests.

"And I'm Evelyn Bonnet we will be making sure your stay in our pack will be smooth." I greeted them in a steady voice.

"Oh, you must be the one who we were conversing with through email?" One of the assistants noticed my name and I just politely nodded.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Prince Kai of Nauloria." The person who caught my attention spoke.

He even has a very appealing voice. I was smiling tightly just to keep my composure.

He shook Damien's hand and then when I was reaching to shake his hand, he simply took my hand kissed the back of it.

I was stunned.

While Damien was simply trying to keep a friendly expression on his face.

The other guests were just shaking my hand.

"The Alpha Frank is waiting for you all in his office. Would any of you like to have a tea or coffee?" I asked while keeping my composure.

Few of them and including Prince Kai requested the beverages. Then Damien was leading to his father's office, while I didn't follow them and I just informed the kitchen staff.

Since I wasn't in the mood of going to the office, I just asked one of the omegas to bring drinks to the office.

I decided to go to my office and just finish the work.

Though the thoughts of the confusing gestures of a Prince Kai were still on my mind.

Doesn't the human etiquette rule doesn't apply to Naulorian Empire?

I'm pretty sure, that it's considered rude to kiss the back of the hand of an unmarried lady.

I dismissed my thoughts and just continued working until I finished all my work.

It's was about nine o'clock and decided to go to my room and prepare myself for bed.

Brushed my hair very gently. Then I brushed my teeth and did my daily skin routine. Before doing my skin routine I remove my make-up I was wearing make-up to hide my tiredness. Then I did cleanse my face, and I put the serum and on top of that, I put a night cream.

Before lying on the bed I decided to turn on the relaxing music.

Once I lied in bed I started to think about Kai again.I

guess today I wasn't careful enough and I got swept by the siren's charm.

On the other hand, it's kinda given me hope that I can still get attracted to other men then be only attracted to my mate.

In order to stop thinking about Prince Kai, I just simply embraced my thoughts.
