WARNING: Slight Steam Ahead!
I awoke to the sounds coming from just outside the house. At first, it was the knocking then the doorbell. I rubbed my eyes then stretched before getting up.
The cold wood flooring felt nice against the soles of my sore feet. I squinted, trying to adjust to the light in the room. I quickly made my way to the front door and opened it.
"Aiden?" I asked with wide eyes as I looked at my brother. He looked skinny but him being here was all that matters. I pulled him into a hug while he seemed hesitant, but hugged me back anyways. "What are you doing here?"
"I have no idea."
I pulled away from him, touching his face and looking at his body seeing that he didn't look as bad the last time I saw him. I couldn't stop the teary eyes that were slightly clouding my vision. "Come inside."
He stood by the door sighing heavily. "Flora, I'm not here to visit. To be honest, I'm only here because some people told me that you were in trouble and needed me, but I can see that you're perfectly fine."
He sounded irritated as if I was wasting his time. "Aiden I haven't seen you in two years. You stopped answering my calls and pushed us away. Look at me." I put my hands on my stomach showing my point to him. "I'm pregnant and you're going to be an uncle."
Aiden didn't show any emotion on his face. "I'm late for something so...take care." He turned around walking away like he always has.
I was done with him walking away and leaving me to feel any sympathy towards him. "So that's it? You're leaving again?!"
He just kept on walking. I ran outside pushing him from behind, making him stumble. "What the fuck, Flora!"
"How dare you walk away when I just told you that you're going to be an uncle. I want you in my baby's life so they can look up to you, not pity."
"Get inside the house Flora, it's cold."
"I've looked for you the two years that I hadn't heard from you, thinking you were dead. Mom and dad helped but they gave up figuring that maybe you'll figure your life out but not me."

"Leave me alone," Aiden said looking away. I could feel eyes on me, probably Dorian and the guys.
"You are a coward Aiden Moules. You'll live alone and die alone the way your life is going." Aiden grabbed both my arms shaking me.
"Shut up!"
Dorian pushed Aiden off of me before I could protest. The rest of the guys were in a circle looking like they were about to attack. I walked up to my brother with Dorian putting me slightly behind him.
Aiden looked at all of the guys around him seeming surprised that they had come out of nowhere.
"Go to your drug dealer and get high. When the baby comes, you'll be forgotten. If you were to get better then they'd think the world of you."
He put his head down, shaking his head. "It's harder than you think."
"It's because you're not trying."
"I tried but I can't. It's the only life I know."
"Then you're no brother of mine." For the first time in my life, I turned my back on my brother. Giving him a taste of what he'd done to me for years.
"Flora, please! Don't give up on me! I'm sorry!" I could hear him drop to his knees pleading for me. It took all of my strength to not give in. If he wanted to live this life then so be it.
Flora's brother grabbed a hold of my arm before I could leave. "Who are you...to her?" He asked with red sunken eyes with tears.
"I'm the father of the baby," I said looking into his eyes. I didn't like how he made Flora cry because when she is upset, the baby is too.
"Take care of her."
"I will."
The guys gave him some money, throwing it on the ground. Aiden picked it up, looking at it as if he couldn't believe we were giving him money. "It's up to you what you want to do with that."
We all left him be, to dwell on his own thoughts. Maybe inviting him here wasn't such a good idea. I was hoping for his presence that everything would be fine but instead, it left things worse than what I wanted.
The guys left me to go inside knowing I'd have to deal with Flora alone. Magnus gave me a thumbs up with a dumb look on his face while Marcus hit him.

I opened the door seeing Flora pacing inside. She caught me by the door. "Did you invite him here?"
I closed the door then looked at her standing straight. "I did."
She began to walk my way. I was starting to prepare myself for what I thought would be a slap or even a scolding. Instead, she gave me a hug.
"You're not mad?"
"Not at you. I'm mad at my brother. And it took you inviting him here for me to realize that he wasn't worth waiting for anymore."
I rubbed her back in a soothing gesture to make her feel comfortable. Her breathing started to get more heavy making me wonder what made her mood change.
She unwrapped her hands from around me and brought them to my chest. She glided her fingers to the button on my shirt, undoing it. "What are you doing?"
She shushed me while she undid the rest of the buttons. She took my shirt off then placed her hand over my heart. "Stay with me."
I put my hand over hers smiling. "Always."
She put her delicate fingers tracing the outline of my abs then she started to unbutton my pants. "Do you know what you're getting yourself into?"
"Let's find out."
Next thing I know is our mouth's on each other in a hot-filled passion. I picked her up and carried her to the room. There was heavy panting when I started entering her. She wasn't trying to hold back her moans of pleasure.
I had some sweat forming on my body. I teased her as I rubbed my body, licking my lips as I looked down at her naked. "The guys are outside."
She pulled my hips into her by using her legs pulling me in. I was completely inside her now. "Let them hear." She grunted.
That was how we spent our entire day by having hot filled passion on the bed in various positions. She had wanted me to go faster but I refused many times, not wanting to harm the baby in any way.
Flora and I laid sprawled on the bed naked and laughing, enjoying ourselves. The doorbell rung catching us off guard. I sat up quickly and was already tense, ready for a fight since I couldn't make out the smell.
"Oh shit." I started throwing the sheets off of myself. "Earlier when you were upset with your brother, I called your parents."
Flora pulled the sheet up to cover herself even though I have seen and explored it all, many times. "When did you have time to do that 'Speedy Gonzales.'" she mocked.
"Who?" I asked seriously not knowing who she was referring to.
"I really need to catch you up on what you missed out on, old man."
I threw a shirt on smirking at her. "Well, you gotta admit that this old man still has moves." I exaggerated by thrusting my hips in the air then laughing it off when I sensed her being turned on.
I left Flora in the room and ran to the door before the could ring the doorbell again. Once the door opened I was met with Jenna giving me a big hug. "Thanks for calling us, sweetie. I know your heart was in a good place, but Aiden doesn't listen to anyone. Oh! I brought you goodies!" She said excitedly.
"Yeah, leave me to carry everything." A man's voice said. He came inside looking me over than slightly smiling. "So you're the man my wife keeps talking about."
"I guess I am."
"I would shake your hand but Jenna's bought you guys a lot of stuff that are occupying my hands. I'm Kurt by the way."
I helped him out and then took the stuff out, surprised that they had bought me and Flora so much stuff. "Clothes, food, and what's this?"
"Oh, it's a camera, the newest one they have."
"You guys are giving all this stuff to us?" Why were they being so nice? Weren't humans suppose to be selfish?
"Well, you're a part of the family now whether you like it or not."
I was at a loss for words. "Wow, thank you." Kurt patted my shoulder that made me smile. Is this what it feels like to have a family when there's not any wolves or lycans around?
"Let me go get Flora." Before I could stop Jenna she was already opening the door. "Again, what's with you two?"

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

They'll need to support and encourage eachother if they want to survive. Check out the Discord! Note: This is my first work of fiction, and as such, there will almost certainly be issues with pacing, grammar, the writing as a whole, and the story as a whole. If I reach a suitable point to pause the story, I will most likely do a complete rewrite as a separate RR posting. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them here or in the discord. Thank you for reading!
