《Book reviews *Requests Closed*》'Amnesia' by seaofroses07

Not gonna lie, when I started reading this book, I disliked it. It had 76 long chapters and the plot just wasn't interesting to me. It seemed vague and all over the place. The story was slow and it was like the thibgs that could've been the most interesting where just ignored.
I do have to say that my opinion changed a bit while reading
Let's talk about the plot for a second: the book is about Addison Pierce, a girl suffering from amnesia. She's dropped off at the prestigious Eaton Academy in London. There, she has to deal with Blair, a mean girl who leads a rich group of students who call themselves the Elites, and Caiden, a boy who seems to hate her for no reason at all.
Let me briefly list a few of the (wattpad) clichés I've found in this story:
-amnesia (yes, that's overused)
- prestigious academy
-academy is located in London
-Elite group of students
-bitchy leader of the elites
-(bad)boy who hates protagonist for seemingly random reason
-aforementioned boy is obviously going to be the love interest
-'friend' betrays protagonist for rich girl
-unplanned pregnancy
-smol child who 'is just the cutest'
-protagonist drowns in self-loathing
-barely any diversity whatsoever (everyone's straight and probably white)
- 'psychopaths' who just. Fail to be realistic.
I could go on like this, but I'll stop now.
The characters too. I've already listed some things in the clichés above, but they're pretty much all Mary Sues. I've really seen no one who I really couldn't have found in at least a dozen of other Wattpad books.
In the book's defense, 'cause I'm burning it down a little now: the plot starts making more sense and becomes more interesting in the later chapters and the characters do grow on you. It just takes a lot of time to reach those points and that does raise some red flags: a little more authenticity would be appreciated.

The Grammar and spelling are fine for the most part, but the punctuation could use some editing. It could really do with a lot more commas, please. The story gets a little confusing if you don't add them when necessary.
So if you have a lot of time on your hands and aren't too nitpicky (unlike me) when it comes to characters and plot, then you should give it a try.

Lonely protagonist in an equally lonely metal world. Lets follow the story of their steps. Hello, This piece is “Blame!” inspired, as you can decipher through the antonym title. The synopsis will be changed in time to come, as will the tags, to keep up the mystery of the world as I try to emulate the dread of "Blame!" into a written form.

Synapsis (Liber Telluris Book 2)
Ancient biotechnologies, psychotic satellites, and incomprehensible enemies… The weaponized strain of the genophage—the disease that ravaged the world, turned men into monsters, and ended the Last Era—is in remission, but the effects of its attack on the genes of the Nethress family linger… Tvorh, an adopted Nethress biomage with everything to prove, is tasked by his liege Dorsin to invent a permanent inoculation against infection. At Tvorh’s disposal is an unprecedented resource: a princess of the Last Era, recently released from cryostasis. In this diminished age, her knowledge and power are unmatched. So are her psychoses and power-hunger. When the quest for answers drives Dorsin, Tvorh, and their companions into the deepest wilds of Tellus and the blackest voids beyond it, they will learn the single terrible secret binding synapse to synapse, biomage to genophage, man to Chimera… Past to present. Land to sky. And prey to predator. Because while fractious bloodlines war across Tellus’s surface, the true threat glides unrecognized through the void of space… Heading straight toward Tellus. *** Synapsis is the second book of a biopunk science-fantasy epic inspired by the altered philosophies and weird technologies of Dune, the ever-present familial machinations present in Exalted's Scarlet Empire, and the endless conflict of Warhammer 40K.
