This story is about Renato Payne III, a guy who lives in a world divided by two factions: the Light and the Shadows. Good and evil. Everyone is supposed to choose a faction, but at 21 years of age, Renato is still a Neutral, which is definitely not encouraged. Deciding to change, Renato devises a plan that may or may not work for him...

The plot is fairly original and interesting enough. I like the worldbuilding that went into it and the abilities of the world's inhabitants aren't ones you see a lot. Nice job!

The characters themselves are decent. They are convincing enough, but Renato is a little silly at times. To me, he comes across as an 'I try really hard to be funny but it only works 20% of the time' character. I think it might be a good idea if he showed a moee serious side in the more serious moments of the story.

The GPS is also decent, but there are occasional spelling mistakes and I've seen a few cases of the dreaded tense-switching. I'd recommend doing some editing.

I do, however, appreciate the more light-hearted tone this story keeps, even if I don't think the lightheartedness is executed in the right way. It's very easy for this kind of story to take a very dark turn (it's what I would've done) and this is a nice change of pace.

Overall, a fun and interesting story to read, even if it has its minor flaws.
