This story is a Warrior cats fic and I have not actually read Warrior cats. I do have some background knowledge, though; my younger brother is a big fan of the series (he owns around 18 books or something) and I've gathered a thing or two from his excited rambling (which I tend to tune out, for fictional cats don't particularly interest me).
So the story is about Chasingriver, who I'm assuming is an OC. It starts with the disappearance of his sister, Lilyfeather. It's up to Chasingriver to discover what happened to his missing sister, and, if she's still alive, to bring her home.
The plot is alright. It sounds like what I'd expect to read in an actual Warrior cats book if I were to ever try those, and I choose to see that as a good sign. On the other hand, missing siblings is definitely something I've seen before. I also feel like the plot is a bit rushed; take some time to describe what's happening, please. It'll make sure everything makes sense
I personally consider the characters to be quite flat and unrealistic, especially when it comes to interaction. Chasingriver kills his mate's brother for no reason other than mere suspicion of kidnapping his sister (which isn't even true), and his mate forgives him, relatively seen, very quickly. Um, hello? He killed your brother, remember?
You can't have something serious like that happening and expect both of them to just forget about it. You simply can't. That's not how emotions and psychology work.
The GPS is decent, but I believe the paragraphs are too… long. A simple rule: whenever someone new starts speaking, make a new paragraph. Try to stick to that, and it'll be easier to read the story!
On a more positive note, it's hard to write cats. They're not humans: they have limited actions and expressions, different sounds and different body language… writing other animals never comes as naturally as writing humans, humanlike as the animal may be. I can respect that. Nice job on writing the cats well!
