We arrived in Manila two days ago, we didn't talk much when we stepped out of the ariport. After 'non na busy na si Tricia with her sisters and mom. Hindi ko na sila ginulo, they barely have moments together gagalawin ko pa. So I went home after the rally. VP planned a late dinner party for her team and running mates. I declined her offer dahil napagod na ako.

Today we were supposed to attend another big event, we were all called to join. Hang out and help the whole team daw. I passed again, na pa tawag ako sa work 'eh. I prioritized work muna, ayaw 'kong magmadali after the election, so I'm doing as much as I can muna. Tricia couldn't attend as well, she texted me this morning - she got sick daw. Possibly Jill and ate Aika too, palagi silang na-uulanan 'eh. So ayon baka 'di rin sila maka punta. My phone buzzed so I went to check.

Nag-alala lang ako kay mama, walang kasama eh.

Nan 'don naman sina tita Ris at sen. Kiko, let's not worry.

Tama si Jill, Tricia. Dapat ang alalahanin niyo for today are yourselves. Tingin niyo gusto ng mom niyo na nilalagnat kayong lahat? I'm sure if kaya niya lang pumunta diyan aalagaan niya rin kayo.

See, even si y/n na nagsabi. Pwede kanang magpahinga Tricia.

ikatsu wag kanang mag luto ako na bahala sa 'nyo tatlo. I'll go shopping for grocery muna then i'll cook for you guys. mag pahinga na kayo.

I locked my phone ang got ready na. "San punta?" mom asked. "Sa mga Robredo lang po, they're all sick kasi tapos si ma'am Leni busy sa rally. Kaya ayong ako na yung na-nanay nanayan nila" I said. "Sige, sige. Dalhan mo na rin sila 'netong carrot cake ko 'tsaka lumpia" she smiled. Ang cute naman ni mom, alagang alaga ang future daughter in law niya pati na mga sisters ni wifey.

As I step out the door she called me. "Panindigan mo 'yan y/n. Iisa lang yan, pag nawala yan bahala ka na" I laughed. "Sige mom, alis na 'ko" I walked out na for real and walked to my car.

I knocked on the door twice to have Aika greet me. "Hoy, okay ka lang? Kamusta na kayo dito?" she smiled helping me in. "Okay na ngayon, nandito ka na eh, savior namin today" I laughed. She helped me papunta sa kitchen where I started cooking na. I was serving the carrot cake and lumpia when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "y/n!" sigaw ni Jill.

"Laham!!" I looked over to see a tall girl with a big smile on her face, rosy nose dahil sa sipon, teary eyed dahil sa lagnat, and glasses dahil galing siya nagbasa. "Hi girls, stay there muna sa sala while I cook ha, let's not risk it muna" I said. They both nod and sat down sa couch where ate Aika was reading.

Hindi naman ako masyado marunong mag luto sa totoo lang. Everything I know galing kay mom, and she's not that good of a cook pero I know it's enough to feed the girls. I cooked sabaw with beef and pancit canton - yung last request ni Jill. "Sige na kumain na kayo, para ma-init yang mga tiyan niyo," they rushed towards the dining table. "Ang sisipag niyo kasi, manang-mana sa mama niyo. Hard-headed rin kasi kahit binibigyan na ng payong hindi pa rin ginagamit, kaya ang word nating for today is deserve" I joked.

"Mas malala ka pa mag sermon sa'min kay sa ni mama" Jill said softly. I laughed at her. Kakatuwa talaga 'tong tatlo. My phone rang, I checked to see who it is. "Girls, your mom is calling me" sabay silang naka tingin sa'kin. "Sagoting mo! ang bagal naman" Tricia said.

"Hello tita, yes opo. Nan dito po ako sa condo, opo pinapakain ko sila. Nagutom kasi, ayaw daw ni Jill sa tinapay ni Tricia," Jill covered her mouth trying to stop herself from laughing, si Tricia naman sinusungitan ang bunso habang namayapang kumakain si ate Aiks. "Don't worry tita, I got your daughters, safe po sila. Papa-inomin ko nalang sila ng gamot mamaya and then i'll leave na po, sige. No problem tita, parang kapatid ko na sila diba" I ended the call and put my phone in my pocket.

"Anong sabi ni mama?"

"Okay lang ba siya?"

"Na miss niya ba ako?"

"Hay nako Jill," I chuckled, iba talaga basta bunso. "Oo, na miss ka daw niya. Okay lang rin siya Trishy, tapos sabi niya ate Aiks na matulog na lang daw kayo pagkatapos, she'll send food here pero she won't come muna kasi ang risky" she said. They all nod and went back to eating.

"Salamat sa pag asi-kaso sa'min ha, iba ka talaga" ate Aika said. After their meal I told them to go to their rooms na't ako ng bahala sa lahat. So ayon naghugas ako, nag luto in case gutomin, at nag-linis slight. Wifey material na po ako, si Tricia nalang kulang. Choz, wag seryosohin baka ma tanga na naman tayo.

"Ano ka ba naman ate Aiks, parang hindi tayo magkakilala" she laughed. "Seriously, it means a lot to us, even mama. Lalo na siguro kay Tricia, best friend mo na parang jowa" she joked.

parang jowa daw, sabi na yan ng ate ha.

"Sige na, uminom kana ng gamot. Bawal magka sakit sa panahon ngayon" she nodded and took the medicine. "Salamat uli ha" she said. I went out to go see Jill and give her medicine na rin. "Jill, magpagaling ka ha. May iniwan akong turon sa kusina at cake sa ref. Call me lang ha if you need me" I said habang binibigay ang gamot sa kanya. She smiled, "sana maging jowa ka na ni ano" she mumbled. I heard her naman pero I chose not to adress it, maging awkward lang if I say something. I took one last look at her before heading out of the room.

Last nalang, kay Tricia. I knocked on the door twice before opening it. She was there sitting in her bed rubbing her nose habang nagbabasa. "Hello laham, kamusta na?" she looked up from her book and smiled. "Okay lang, thank you for taking care of us ha" she said. "Inom ka muna ng gamot oh," I said handing her the medicine. "May iniwan akong tinapay sa ref, yung favorite mo. Kain ka lang if magugutom ka" she smiled and pat the free space beside her on her bed.

"upo ka muna" she asked. I was confused pero I still went to sit beside her. We were sat next to each other at this moment, close na close. Our arms feeling each other's presence, her breath warming up my face, and her eyes locked into mine. I quickly looked down, ang lakaas na ng tension - nakakakaba.

"Tingin sa'kin y/n" she said holding my chin and gently forcing me to look at her. Again our eyes were locked. Biglang tumigil ang mundo. Right now there's no one else but us. Nawala lahat ng problema ko, sana sa kanya rin.

"Salamat ha, palagi kang naka-suporta sa'min" she said. I laughed nervously swiping her hand off my chin, "Ano kaba, of course naman. Best friend tayo diba" I said. Her smiled dropped, her eyebrows curled. "Hindi mo talaga gets 'no?" I looked at her confused. "Ang alin?"

"Ito," she pulled my face towards hers. Her lips on top of mine. Her tongue venturing inside my mouth. Her left hand on my cheek holding on as tightly as she could, her other hand holding my back.

Wala na patay na patay na ako.
