Karna reached anga after two days. Seeing the condition of Anga he wasn't shocked but was sad. Anga was as Bheeshma described poor and barren. The kingdon was more like 2-3 village big. The people there were struggling just to survive. Everyone fom old to your were severely malnourished. They looked like they hadn't eaten for days. They were so thirsty that they were involuntarily gulping. He came down the horse. The first thing he did was to shoot varunastra to make it rain in Anga for people to drink water and store it. The varunastra countinued to rain for half hour. The people of anga brought their utensils out to store water. After that Karna ordered one of soldiers to bring everyone in Anga at one place with big utensils and plate.

After 1 hour everybody came together. Karna then ordered to gather big utensils together. He then took his pouch and opened it facing towards empty utensils, he then chanted the mantras and utensils were magically filled with food. Karna then told everyone to eat first. The people of Anga were confused first by such strange request for gathering but after seeing the food they immediately began to fill their plate with food and eat happily. Karna too took out a plate and started eating with them.

After solving immediate problem for his people. Karna introduced himself to the people. They were shocked seeing their new king eating with them. Karna then asked the problem from his subjects. It seemed like every thing was problem there but most probable were lack of resources, money, food and water. Karna assured them he will soon get ri of all these problems. Water and food were first and foremost most problem of Anga. Food he can manage due to his boon but for water he has to something. He while at Hastinapur has asked Bheeshma to send one last peace offering to Magadh. He knew he was new king sending his own messenger would have messenger killed so he asked messenger from Hastinapur as his representative to Jarasandh. He would not dare to kill Hastinapur's messenger.

In the evening messenger cme with grave expression. He has a scroll and written proposal with him. Karna took the scroll and stated reading.

Karna was furious reading this especially about Dushala. He can hear and not care about insults thrown at him but for whom he considers as family they were his reverse scale and Jarasandh has dared to look at Dushala with bad intentions. He told messenger to return to Hastinapur.

He immediately arranged food for his people for five days. He shot an arrow at land and generated a temporary water source. He then summoned his chariot and ordered it to go towards Magadha. As he was climbing the chariot he heard a familiar voice. He turned around and saw lord Krishna there.

Krishna : Going somewhere friend.

Karna (seriously) : Pranipat Prabhu. You are here. Please don't, now is not the time of your mischievousness. You exactly know where and why I am going.

Krishna : Ok sakha(friend), but let's go together.

Karna : Lord, I alone is enough for Magadha. Why do you want to dirty your hands.

Krishna : When did I say I was going Magadh to fight. No, I will not raise my weapon there. But Jarasandh needs to die his sins are too great to be left alive.

Karna : Then why do you want to go there lord.

Krishna : You were once my charioteer in Dwarka. Today I will be your charioteer. I am going there to witness the might of Ardhnarishwar's student.

Karna : As you wish lord.

Karna then climbed tha chariot and Krishna took charioteer seat. The left with such speed of sound, the white chariot seemed like glowing under the moon and leaving a white streak.

Krishna (Mumbles) : So the story of RashmiRathi (Chariot of light) begins here.

They arrived Magadha borders at dawn they stopped near Magadha border and Karna did his Surya pooja. He then went on his chariot and Krishna did a sanksnath (conch shell blowing) to announce their presence for battle. Karna was so angry that he brought out his Vijaya bow and stood at Magadha borders in his chariot waiting for enemy to arrive. Karna's expression looked calm but Krishna know Karna was holding his anger as deep sea which is going to engulf Magadha army and Jarasandh. He forcefully plucked strings of his empty bow, there was resounding sound throughout the Aryavart and heaven. The climate of whole Aryavart changed black clouds surrounded whole Aryavart.

In devlok all Dev's Heard the thundering sound that echoed from karna bow.

Indradev : Who has evoked mighty Vijaya bow, is it Bhagwan Parshuram? But why?

Suryadev : No indradev it must be Karna, Bhagwan Parshuram has gifted Vijaya bow to him.

Indradev : What? He has Vijaya, he didn't he invoke it during my battle with him. So now what is the reason of him invoking it now?

Agnidev : We don't know, but let's find out.

In Kailash parvat and Mahendragiri Bhagwan Parshuram, Lord Kartikeya and lord Ganesha too thought about the reason of Karna's action. Mata Parvati was startled too. And Mahadev came out of his meditation hearing bow string's echoing sound. All gods closed their eyes and used their power to know what is happening. Soon they came to know the reason for Karna anger and actions.

Parvati : Lord, Karna is very angry now. Destruction will fall upon Magadha Today.

Mahadev : Yes Dear, it is a anger of a brother, Jarasandh did a big mistake. You know karna is very protective of those who he considers as family.

Parvati : I know but I am scared Karna wil destroy Magadha too in his anger

Mahadev (smiles) : Don't worry, Krishna is with him, he wouldn't let karna destroy Magadha as mathura is in Magadha. Lets see first big fight of our deciple together.

Not only them but all Devas and asuras were too watching the interesting battle about to happen.

Hearing the sankhnath and thundering sound Jarasandh too asked what is happening. One soldiers informed him Krishna came as charioteer of a warrior and was at border. The Krishna did sankhnath and thundering and climate change happened by the warrior's bow string plucking. Jarasandh then ordered soldier to go and gather army to prepare for battle. Krishna was his enemy he didn't care for warrior. He thought warrior was just using illusions, his real enemy was Krishna and today Jarasandh will finally kill him. Soo. He along with his army came to border.

Karna saw Jarasandh with 3 million of his soldiers came to battle field. Jarasandh too saw karna and Krishna. Jarasandh laughed.

Jarasandh : Who are you idiot? Why have you came to Magadh? You even came with this ranchor( one who runs away from battle) Krishna. Are you so eager to die?

Karna (calmly) : You only have invited me yesterday.

Jarasandh : Oh! You are new king of Anga. So you have come to die today that too with this illusionist and coward Krishna. What do you think your this little illusions can scare me.

Krishna : Vinash kale viprit bhuddhi.

(At the time of death one first looses his mind).

Mahadev just smiled at that.

At battlefield.

Karna : Don't waste the time. If you didn't die till sunset then I will self immolate I promise you that, Jarasandh.

Jarasandh laughed at that, he too liked the idea of karna self immolating himself in his yagya at night. Jarasandh ordered his soldiers to form Chakravyuh, he too sent his mighty warriors ahead to face and defeat Karna while he will be watching the show from centre of vyuha. Soon the vyuha was arranged and 15 Maharathi(great chariot warrior) were send to defeat karna and capture both Krishna and Karna.

The sankhnath again resounded from both sides then the true battle began. Rashmi Rath under the guidance of lord Krishna moved forward. Karna was like angel of death reaping the army of Magadha. He killed all the Maharathi sent by Jarasandh and destroyed the vyuha and army of Magadha. Karna was raining arrows and divyastra at Magadha army. No body was able to stop the his white chariot and it was leaving a white streak it moved forward. In 45 minutes Karna reached the centre of vyuha he has already killed more than third of Magadha army.

Jarasandh too saw the destruction Karna brought to his men. He knew he made a mistake of underestimating the enemy way too much. But he wasn't scared ,he was confident Karna couldn't kill him because of his boon. Soon Jarasandh and Karna started fighting. They first fought with bow and arrow but karna easily disarmed him, he shot a divyastra which pierced Jarasandh but Jarasandh magically healed. There was not even a scratch on him. Then Jarasandh jumped down his chariot and chalanged karna to mace fight. Karna summoned a mace and too jumped down his chariot and they both fought again Karna defeated him he strongly struck Jarasandh's head and blast open it, Jarasandh again healed. Then came spear fight which ended in Karna piercing holes in the vitals of Jarasandh but again same thing happened Jarasandh healed in a second. Then came sword fight in which karna bisected Jarasandh from the middle but his bisected body parts magically joined together. Jarasandh was laughing. Karna was getting little frustrated at all this happening. Jarasandh stood up and chalanged in wrestling match. Both fighter wrestled karna pinned Jarasandh in the ground holding his leg up. Karna then looked to Krishna for some help. Krishna tore a leaf in equal half and threw it in opposite directions, Karna understood. He tore Jarasandh in half using his arms strength and threw his bisected body on opposite directions. This time Jarasandh didn't recovered and truly died. Then Magadha army surrendered karna too have truly calmed down and accepted their surrender as it was righteousness. Killing them after surrendering would be useless slaughter and it was against righteousness.

The devas, asuras looking at the fight were amazed, karna in less than two hours brought the whole Magadha down on their knees. They were amazed by Karna's battle prowess. Mata parvati and Mahadev just smiled. They knew their student was much more powerful than this. They were also happy that Karna remembered his promise and even in his anger Karna didn't slaughter rest of army.

The whole battle lasted total of one and half hour. After accepting Magadha army surrender he went to mathura with Krishna and freed the captured kings. He was shocked that even the sons of Jarasandh were captured. He freed all of them. The kings were happy and proposed to have Karna as ruler of Magadha and they will surve him. Karna declined. He said he already has a kingdom, Anga and doesn't want anything else. The kings then decided to send aid to Anga and form alliance with Karna. The kings happily lest for their kingdom.

Karna declared Jarasandh eldest son Sahadeva who was a righteous person as king of Magadha. Karna warned Sahadeva to ban all illegal activities like human and child trafficking in Magadha. Sahadeva with the help of Karna rounded up the corrupted men in Magadha and executed them. Krishna was happy that mathura was now freed from tyranny of Jarasandh. Sahadeva ordered to destroy the dam near Magadha and Anga borders. Karna and Krishna left Magadh and went to Anga.

News of Karna's victory over Magadha and Jarasandh killing spread throughout the Aryavart. People were amazed by his skills and Valour. He did the impossible task of killing Jarasandh and defeating Magadha alone. They were surprised that Mahadev's Vijaya bow is with karna. They too has heard legends of this mighty bow. Karna's chariot also became famous because of it's unique look and ability to leave white streak on its way. Soon Karna was known as Rashmirathi and Vijaydhari throughout the Aryavart
