Pandavas, Draupadi, Krishna and Rudra went towards Khandavprast with citizens who wanted to leave with them. Arjun and Draupadi was in Chariot while rest Pandavas were on another Chariot. Rudra was sitting with krishna on his personal Chariot. They reached Khandavprast after 2days of journey. They all stopped before the large forest and rumbles before them.

Yudhishthir : What will we do now? We know the nag clan live here with their leader Takshak and his family.

Bheem : We should attack them and make them surrender.

Rudra : You will fight them without provocation. It is not right.

Bheem who never liked Karna naturally didn't like Rudra, he was going to shout at him but Krishna said.

Krishna : What he is saying is not wrong bade bhaiya. We can't just attack them, Takshak in under Devraj Indra's protection.

Everyone became suddenly silent hearing that.

Yudhishthir : We should just do bhoomi pujan now. After that we will sent message to Takshak to surrender to us.

Rudra : Surrender, why not peaceful coexistence.

Bheem (angrily) : Why should we coexist with snakes. We are kshatriya we have right to conquer lands and rule over them. If nags want to live here they will have to surrender. You won't understand so shut up, when elders are taking its not your place to say.

Rudra was shocked by sudden shout he was asking just because of his curiosity. But seeing Bheem angry he decided to keep quiet and ask his questions when he will return back.

Krishna (frowned) : Bharata Bheem, why are you shouting at kid. Mind your words, I have assured Karna and Avantika that I will be his guardian. If you don't want him here then I will now leave with him. Don't forget your grandfather from Mata Kunti side is a nag too. Your strength is their blessings.

Hearing harsh words of krishna towards Bheem every one was surprised. They didn't think Krishna would go as far as leave because of rudra. They just kept quiet. Seeing the tense atmosphere Draupadi decided to speak up.

Draupadi : We should just prepare for pooja.

The Pooja was arranged and everyone sat for pooja. Rudra decided to be next to Krishna only so he sat beside him. The people who came here with Pandavas too sat for Pooja. Everyone was doing pooja then suddenly various snakes came and bit the commoners. The commoner lost their consiousness. Seeing this Pandavas, Draupadi, rudra got worried.

Arjun : Madhav, it seems that Takshak declared a war upon us.

Krishna : You are right Parth.

Nakul : But if we fight Takshak then Devraj Indra will come and we would have to fight him too.

Draupadi : But who could fight Devraj. No mortal can defeat him.

Krishna: No Sakhi that not completely true. Mortals can defeat Devraj infact few even defeated him but we have great way to stop him.

Arjun : What way Madhav.

Krishna : You Parth, you are son of Devraj and no father will fight to kill his son.

Arjun : Okay I will do as you say Madhav.

Then Krishna became the Charioteer of arjun but to everyone surprise Rudra too went to Charioteer seat and sat beside Krishna.

Krishna : Putra Rudra what are you doing.

Rudra : Sitting beside you.

Krishna : I can see that but why. You can stand with them.

Rudra : I don't trust them. You are my uncle they are nothing but stranger bro me.

Krishna (smiled) : They too can be your uncles.

Rudra : Relations germinates from heart. I can see they don't want to have anything with me, I am simply fulfilling their desire. I don't need uncles who despise me. I realised it was my mistake to come here. After all I came here uninvited and this is not your kingdom. I am in strangers land now and you are my only guardian.

Krishna : Why did you think everyone as stranger Putra, only one has said anything to you.

Rudra : And only you spoke for me. Silence means consent, that much even I know. I will stay beside you till I reach back to my family.

Pandavas were surprised to see such maturity from such a small child. Arjun and Draupadi thought they should have spoken for him while rest remain with any change in their expression indicating what Rudra said was right. Krishna smiled sadly at this. He nodded.

Arjun climbed on rathi seat and called out Takshak and nagas to come out and take back the poison from people present her or he will burn down the forest. Rudra thought it was wrong to burn the forest as other animals except snakes too live here but he kept quiet as he decided. Seeing there was no response from Takshak, Arjun fired agneyastra to burn down entire forest. Few minutes after that clouds gathered and heavy rain fell upon forest to put out the fire and Indradev appeared.

Everyone awake : Pranipat Indradev.

Indradev : Kalyan ho, Arjun what are you doing. Don't you know Takshak is under my protection.

Arjun : I know Pitashree but his clan has bitten the people who came with us. I am doing my duty.

Indradev : I can ask Takshak to cure them, there is no need to burn the forest.

Arjun : No Pitashree we have been given this land so we should rule it it is our kshatriya dharm.

Indradev : Then you leave me with no choice but to fight, him am bound by my words.

Arjun : We both are doing our dharm Pitashree. I am greatfull for this opportunity let you show you what he is capable of.

Then fight happened indradev to took out his bow and various divyastras were fired and countered. Despite not going all out Devraj Indra was a real hard opponent to defeat or fight for arjun. In this battle arjun was constantly on offense and Devraj was defensive. Seeing the battle was going nowhere Devraj suddenly got an idea he knew lord Krishna is with Arjun and he wouldn't let Arjun being harmed so Indradev lowered his bow and summoned his Vajra and threw it to Arjun. Arjun in response summoned Brahamastra and threw it towards oncoming Vajra. If this two weapon collided then there will be no Khandavprast left for anyone to rule. Takshak who was watching all this got scared when Indradev summoned his Vajra and fled from forest. Two weapons were coming towards eachother but before they can collide sudharshan chakra came in between. Vajra and brahamastra stoped moving.

Krishna : Devraj there is no need to fight. Takshak is not in the forest and you have fulfilled your promise to him by fighting your own son for him.

Listening to krishna both Indradev and Arjun retrieved their weapons. Indradev came directly before Arjun chariot. Krishna, Rudra and Arjun dismounted the chariot. Arjun came and touched His feet.

Arjun : Bless me Pitashree.

Indradev : Aayushman Bhava Putra, I am impressed by your valour. You will become a great archer Putra. I know you are going to build a Kingdom here don't worry I will ask lord Vishwakarma to build kindom for you and I will heal your subjects.

Arjun : Thank you Pitashree.

Rudra too went and touched Indradev feet.

Rudra : Pranipat Indradev.

Indradev : Kalyan ho Putra, who are you.

Rudra (smiling) : My name is Rudradhitiya, I am son of Suryaprast king Radhey Karna and Avantika.

Indradev : So you are son of Putra Karna.

Rudra : You know my father.

Indradev : Yes, I know him.

Rudra : Then can I ask a question.

Indradev : Sure why not.

Rudra : Is it really good to follow dharm so blindly that it becomes a tool to spread Adharm.

Indradev : Nahi Putra.

Rudra : Then why did you still protected Takshak knowing he misused you promise to do wrong things.

Hearing his questions everyone was shocked, Krishna smiled. Rest Pandavas and Draupadi too arrived at this time.They were scared that Indradev will be angry hearing him. Yudhishthir was going to reprimand him to question Devraj Indra. Indra was taken back hearing this, he never thought about it this way. He thought for while and smiled.

Indradev : You are right Putra, there is nothing wrong in what you said but we Dev's have follow what we said unfortunately it is a negative of us being dev. Humans though weak are allowed to do mistake but we can't do that. It is great you can think this minutely as a child. You will be great righteous person Putra. Like father like son they say, how true. I am very impressed by you ask something from me.

Rudra : Okay give me strength and your blessings that I will become great warrior like my father and mother.

Indradev : Thathastu Putra. I bless you with strength equal to Vajra and you will a warrior equal to your parents.

Rudra felt his body was full of power. “Thank you indradev.” Rudra said while touching his feet. Everyone present were surprised by everything happening. Indra left after that. Rudra returned to Krishna's side. Arjun them fired agneyastra to burn down the forest. Terrible fire spread throughout the forest, flames look like they were going to touch the sky. Various sounds of different animals resounded, rudra felt very bad and clench his fists seeing this happening. A asurs seems to came out of forest but was captured by Arjun Nagpas. He was going to kill him but Krishna stopped him saying he was a great asur who has pioneered maya and architecture. He can help in making kingdom. Mayaasur agreed seeing it was only option to live. Three hours later the fire calmed down but nothing but ashes were left wher once a forest was.

Suddenly a divine light came and Agnidev himself appeared.

Everyone : Pranipat Agnidev.

Agnidev : Kalyan ho.

Since Arjun was kind of son in law of Agnidev he decided to speak on Yudhishthir's behalf.

Arjun : We are honoured by your presence Agnidev.

Agnidev : I had to come Putra Arjun, today you have fulfilled my hunger by burning this mayavi Khandavprast. I am impressed by you I came here to give you this Gandiv bow, Putra this is a divine bow. It has 108 strings and one of it is divine, it can increase power of any arrow by 1000 times. It was created bu Brahamdev himself. I personally have asked it from Varun dev to gift you. Accept it as my blessings.

Arjun accepted the bow and the as happy that finally he also have a divine bow. His family members and Krishna was also happy but Rudra was frowning not because Arjun got divine bow but hearing Agnidev saying it was good thing to burn forest along with all the animals inside it. He couldn't control himself and asked after Arjun got divine bow.

Rudra : I am sorry if I am crossing my boundaries Agnidev, but many animals died in agonising ain when fire spread through forest. Please tell me how can it be good thing or dharm.

Everyone was once again shocked, even Agnidev was surprised by sudden question by a child. Seeing a cute child was standing beside Narayan himself he looked closely and found there was no sarcasm on his face but expression of pain and anger. He understood this child was clearly hurt by seeing death of animals.

Agnidev : Putra, the beings that dwell in the forest were dangerous if not killed would have causes chaos to other humans. I know it is tragic but this is their fate.

Rudra : Is human life so precious that because of possibilities animals of entire forest have to be killed. There were several animal who only eat grass and weren't harmful to human at all. My parents always told me all lives are equal in front of God, is it all lie Agnidev.

Hearing his questions there was pindrop silence in the surrounding, not even Agnidev has anser to that question, he was impressed by Arjun for feeding him Khandavprast forest and didn't think of other thing since he was his son in law, husband of agnisuta Draupadi he decided to gift him Gandiv. But hearing the innocent questions of s hurt child he was speechless.

Krishna : Putra, Rudra it was their fate to die like this. It was their niyati.

Rudra : Uncle, why is their niyati so dreadful.

Krishna : Putra, Even I can't answer you question. Let bygones be bygones, thing happened couldn't be reversed. Take solace in fact Agni is pure so their souls would be purified and will go to heaven.

Rudra : Okay uncle, but still I am not satisfied with your answer. I pray for their happy afterlife.

Krishna signalled Agnidev to leave, Agnidev lest as what he came here has been achieved. After he left Lord Vishwakarma arrived, everyone greeted him and he blessed them after that with his magic lord Vishwakarma constructed a beautiful kingdom and palace out of nothing and with help of mayasur a sabha similar to what swarglok has was built with illusions in it.

Seeing magic happening in front of his eyes Rudra's mood became much better. He was mesmerized by all the construction. Pandavas and Draupadi too became happy seeing their new kingdom. The citizen too were healed and concious now. They too yelled Pandavas and Yudhishthir name. Yudhishthir calmed them down and declared the name of kingdom as Indraprastha. Everyone went inside the kingdom except Krishna and Rudra. Krishna told them what he came her for has been achieved so it was time for him to leave and take Rudra back to Suryaprast. Pandavas became sad but agreed. Krishna took rudra in his chariot and left for Suryaprast while Pandavas went to their new kingdom and palace.
