"Sid babe, can you check on the turkey for me?" I continued to work on the pie, not looking at the turkey in the oven.
"Uh sure, hold on a second..." Sid walked up from his spot on the couch, to check on to the turkey.
"Kylie, I don't think you're going to be happy..." Sidney grimaced, wrapping his arms around me.
"What makes you say that, my little Penguin?" I turned around in his arms, kissing his cheek.
Sidney nodded his head towards the oven, making me walk up there and gasp. The turkey was completely burned and basically shrunk.
"How did that happen! I swear I was right here the whole time!" I groaned, turning the oven off and safely got the turkey out. "How am I supposed to get Thanksgiving dinner ready if MacKinnon and Priya get here in 3 more hours!?"
Sidney went out into the garage, grabbing the indoor fryer that was big enough for the spare turkey I had cleverly bought.
"Alright, will this do?" Sid set the fryer down on the kitchen before grabbing safety goggles for both him and I.
Nodding my head, I got the turkey ready once again, but I slowly set it in the fryer; setting a timer for when to get it out. Sitting down at the couch, Sid started to kiss my ear, nibbling at it before kissing my lips roughly with those kissable lips.
The makeout session went on for an hour before the timer beeped, causing me to pull out. I got the food ready while Sidney was setting the table. Sidney however, had different plans and gently pushed me up against the wall. He once again, set his lips down on mine, wanting to have another makeout session.

I swear I had heard the doorbell ring a few times, but I felt Sid's phone starting to beep. Grabbing his phone, I pressed the accept button.
"Hello?" I asked into the microphone before the caller responded.
"It's Thanksgiving and yet, you and Sid are keeping the turkey all to yourselves and having kissing sessions too." Nathan jokingly groaned. "Will you open the door?"
I blushed before hanging up the call and went up to the door and greeted them.
"How long have you've been waiting?" Sidney awkwardly scratched his neck, blushing and avoiding eye contact.
"I know you guys are husband and wife, but I'm begging you; please don't do that in my face ever again!" Nathan mockingly groaned before Priya punched him in the shoulder. "What was that for!?"
"To make you be quiet."

"I love you, Mrs. Crosby..." Sidney smiled, rubbing my knuckles with his thumb.
"I love you, Mr. Crosby." I smiled back before kissing him passionately.
"Seriously, what was I just saying about this!?" Nathan smirked before Priya smeared mashed potatoes all over his face.
Sid spilled some gravy on my hair and I smashed the pie on his face. Overall, Thanksgiving was an mission success I guess?

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment. You can also vote for it on Top Web Fiction and rate it on Web Fiction Guide. Member of The Order of Phantasmal Architects.

Ghostified City
‘Ghostified City’ is a post-dystopian sci-fi tale, set in a fading world that might be a future version of ours, running out on autopilot into oblivion. Adaman Yimmand is a simple robofactory operator in The City who's working with robots and machines every day. He doesn’t even realise that he might not have met another actual human being in years. Everything begins when he breaks his routine for once and enters a bar where he meets Evelith. This pesky other person does not let him go after he has had his -rather terrible- beer, because according to her actual humans are much rarer than he’s aware of. And from then on ‘the genie is out of the bottle and won’t get back in’, to use her words: Adaman meets more people, and gradually he has no choice but to accept that the reality of The City is not what he always thought it was, and to face the darkness of a fading humanity on the brink of self-inflicted extinction. Is there any hope left for him, and for his species? I have selected 'sexual content' and 'traumatising content' to be on the safe side, because there is a stripclub-like venue in the background of the story, and an almost-extinct humanity that has institutionalised suicide which might be disturbing to some. Apart from that it's not really a heavy 'adult' story.('Ghostified City' is my first long story in English as opposed to my native language Dutch, and an earlier version was published on my fiction blog 'Oranderra' until I stopped updating. This is a slightly altered version of the first series.)
