"You so cheated, Y/n!"
"I did not cheat! It's not my fault that my team beat the Avalanche 6-4..."
We were playing NHL 16 and let's just say that Gabe's a little bit mad at me because I beat him and not with cheating.
"For the last time, I did not cheat, Gabriel Ingemar John Landeskog!" I clenched my jaw, throwing the Xbox controller on the couch and stormed upstairs to our shared bedroom, leaving Gabe all by himself in the living room.
I locked the bedroom door, flopping down on the bed and started to cry into one of the pillows. Hearing a knock on the door, I stopped my cries and weakly walked up to the door.
"Who is it?" I sniffled, leaning my body against the wooden door.
"It's me." A weak voice squeaked out, as if they were crying.
"What do you want, Gabriel?" I spat out, sounding confident all of a sudden.
"I'm sorry for my behavior out there, Y/N. It was wrong of me to accuse you of cheating on a game like that... I know you didn't."
"Gabe, I need some time to think..."
"O-okay... Once again, I just want to say I'm sorry, Y/N. If you need me, I'll be sleeping on the couch..."
And just like that, Gabe left and went back downstairs. Realizing what I had done, I unlocked the door and raced down the stairs, grabbing his arm to stop him.
"No, Gabe. It's me who should apologize... I shouldn't have barked at you like that! I'm really sorry for what I did to you!" I cried into his shirt, tears soaking it wet.
Gabe gently rubbed my back, cooing in my ear. "Shh, it's okay, we were both at fault here... It happened and we can't fix it... But it taught us that our relationship was made stronger, it didn't break us apart... Just know, Y/N, there will be times we'll be in fights whether they're stupid ones or more serious ones; but they won't stop me from loving you. I will always love you, Y/F/N."
"And I will always love you, Gabriel Landeskog." I kissed him sweetly yet passionately, "You are my world."

Kalkonu, the lost continent. What was once served as a prison for civilization’s worst criminals has become a dumping ground for political outcasts, refugees, and the undesirables of society. Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!

The Core And The Wardens of Eternity
What is the Core, they asked me... It's the light that pushes the darkness away, a bastion of justice, a safe keeper of life. It grooms love and tolerance, embraces science, fights ignorance, sentences it to die a slow and tragic death. The Core... it's something that can't be destroyed for destroying it is to terminate the time and space itself. When the stuck-in-a-dark-age world of Zanria goes offline, the Core sends one of its experienced agents to find out what is going on and to try to reestablish a mysteriously severed connection. However, all his training and experience might come way short as the world sinks in war and chaos with different races and clans fighting for the Star of Bardan, the ward rumored to possess enough supernatural power to create and destroy entire worlds. *** I just changed the name of the series, from 'the Nexus' to 'the Core'. Somehow it just sounds more right to me. This is the first story, and it has a medieval fantasy setting. But, eventually, this is going to turn into Isekai series with elements of LitRPG. So, my future books might include worlds with advanced technologies that might be more in SciFi, including Steampunk, genre. The first book might start slow, but after a few chapters, it should all be properly set up, and by then you should get the feel of how it will all flow. Also, I plan to introduce different story threats that should spread out and criss-cross in the future. Hopefully, I will not complicate it too much, and that it will all read good. I am planning to continue to add chapters to the main storyline here, but I'm also starting a new story threat in the Core series called The Recordings of Raan. There is also a side story The Memoires of Eisen that's exclusive on Patreon for those who would like to support me.
