"Hmm, let's see...Milky Way and Snickers?" I looked at my grocery list and pushed my cart to the candy aisle before I heard a crashing noise and I saw a very handsome man in front of me with his shopping cart. "Oh my god, I am so sorry! I should've been looking where I was go-"
The man chuckled and cut me off by covering his hand over my mouth. "It's no problem....I've experienced more painful hits than that to be quite honest!"
It was something about his accent that I couldn't quite put my finger on, "I'm guessing you're from somewhere in Europe, no offense."
"I was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden actually! But I live here in Columbus for my job."
"Really? And what is your profession?"
"Have you heard of the hockey team Columbus Blue Jackets?"
"Heard of them? I'm a huge fan of the team!"
"I play for them, but I'm a rookie this season..."
We continued to talk until the names came up....
"Oh sorry! I haven't introduced myself! I'm Y/N L/N. And you are?"
"Alex. Alexander Wennberg."
My jaw dropped open due to the fact that I was talking to the Alexander Wennberg.
"Uhh, Y/N? You're staring off into space!" Alexander started to chuckle and I got back to reality, blushing because of my daydream.
As we got to the candy aisle, turns out that the candy that I wanted was on top of the shelf, causing me to jump up and down. "Here, let me get that for you, Y/N..."
He walked up to the shelf and grabbed the Milky Way and Snickers bags that I was planning to purchase. "And here you go, milady!"

I smiled and got on my tiptoes, giving him a kiss on the cheek as a thank you.
His cheeks turned rose pink and that caused me to slightly giggle. "Well, thank you very much for the help, Alexander! I have to get going to the checkout now...."
"Wait!" He yelled out as I stopped in my tracks and looked at him.
Running up to me and my cart, he slightly panted and looked into my eyes, "I was...hoping...if I could..."
"You want my number, don't you?" I smirked as I pulled my phone out of my purse and unlocked it while opening the contacts app for Alex to enter in his number.
He handed me his phone for me to enter my number in and I gave it back to him as soon as I finished. "I had fun today, Alexander!"
"So did I, so when would you like to go on another date?"
"Really? This counted as a date?"
"I mean-it doesn't-if you don't-" He started to ramble on and I kissed him right on the lips, not caring if we were in the middle of the candy aisle at a local Target in Columbus.
As soon as I pulled away, he pulled me back in but our foreheads were touching and there was silence between us.
"Of course, I'd love to go out on another date with you, Alexander."
"Awesome. See you by the Nationwide Arena entrance?"
"See you there, Wennberg."
