The next day, Alex allowed herself the luxury of sleeping in. When she finally made her way upstairs she saw RM sitting on the deck talking to Sabrina. Alex went over to make coffee when Yoongi walked into the kitchen. He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "Good morning my little pool shark."

She giggled as she stirred creamer into her coffee, "Good morning my little hula dancer." She turned and wiggled her eyebrows at him as she took a sip of her coffee. "RM is out on the deck with mom." She nodded her head towards the doors.

Yoongi looked back, "I think he has a little crush on her. He likes talking to your mom."

Alex smiled, "I'm sure he's making her day. She's always wanted to pick apart his brain." They headed out to the deck and sat to listen while they waited for everyone else to wake up. Today was the last day they would be at the farm before they headed to her family's lake house.

A little bit later Jungkook and Jimin were up and heading to the yard to play catch. Alex's sister Kat was standing on the back porch stretching, getting ready to feed the chickens and check for eggs. The chickens were already out free ranging in the yard. Jungkook was sidetracked as he started following one of them around.

"Jungkook! Don't chase the chickens," Kat sighed and put her hand on her hip as she watched him. "If you scare them they won't lay eggs." She started down the steps to go after them.

Suddenly, one of the cows in the pasture next to them moo'd and drew Jk's attention over. He started jogging over to the cow fence when Alex and Sabrina jumped out of their seats. "JK don't! Don't touch the fence. It's electri-."

It was too late. JK had reached for the fence before they could stop him. He grabbed the electric fence with both hands. They watched as his whole body went rigid and froze before he let go of the fence. He jumped back and stumbled a few steps before he turned and started walking back to the house. He was shaking his hands out and kept looking back at the fence. He got up to the deck and laughed nervously as he looked at everyone, "Well, I wasn't expecting that."

Sabrina and Alex were trying to muffle their laughs. The rest of the guys were doubled over in hysterics. Jin couldn't help himself, "I bet that was shocking." "Watt were you thinking?" "Here, hold this," Jin placed his phone in JK's hand then took it back, "Yep! All charged!" He continued laughing as he fell into his chair. Jungkook just shook his head.

Yoongi and the others were trying to catch their breath from the laughter. He wiped a tear from his eye, "Oh my gosh, that's the best thing I've seen in years."

After they had all settled down and had breakfast, some of the guys started heading out to the pool with Sabrina. It was going to be a day of relaxing. Yoongi was in the living room talking to Kat, while Alex and Jin sat on the deck. Yoongi finally came out to join them.

"Were you talking to Kat all this time?" Jin looked over at Yoongi surprised.

"Yep, and now I know how to bury your body and get away with it." He put out his pointer finger and thumb like a gun and shot at Jin.

Alex laughed when she saw Jin's expression, "My sister majored in forensics. She probably just gave him everything he needs to know to stock away in his arsenal."

Yoongi nodded his head then looked over at Jin and gave him a sweet toothy smile. He looked back over at Alex, "I guess you're gonna make me swim today?"

"Yep, time for you to join the rest of the living in the sun." She smacked his leg then went downstairs to change into her swimsuit. When she came back up he had already changed as well. He had on swim trunks, a long sleeve shirt, and a bucket hat. She shook her head at him. "C'mon grandpa, let's hit the water." She grabbed his hand and drug him out to the pool.

Most of the guys had already taken the rafts. Yoongi waded through the water over to JK, "Off." JK obeyed and rolled into the water like a good little maknae.

"Let's play volleyball, Sabrina said she has a net that attaches to the pool." The others agreed while Yoongi wrinkled his face in distaste and crossed his arms.

Hobi and JK pulled out the net and got it set up while Jin went and grabbed the volleyball. Yoongi floated over away from the net and grabbed the side of the pool to keep himself in place while he watched. The game was in full swing.

Alex and Sabrina watched from the pool steps. They looked over at Yoongi and started cracking up. He was holding onto the side of the pool as the water splashed around him and rocked his raft. Hobi was pointing and laughing when he saw Yoongi's face. He started splashing him with water.

Yoongi was shielding his face with his hands, "Hajima! Hajima!" He gave up and hopped off the raft and started splashing Hobi back then grabbed onto his shoulders to dunk him. The volleyball game paused and chaos ensued as the guys started a full on dunk fest. Alex and Sabrina looked at each other and shook their heads, "Boys."

A few of the guys went back to the game while the others got out with Alex and her mom to lay under the umbrellas on the patio. "We're having an early dinner tonight and you'll need lots of room for everything I'm making." Sabrina sipped on her drink.

"What's for dinner?" Jungkook never stopped thinking about food.

"She's putting on a full feast. Korean veggie pancakes, rice, gochujang jjigae with Cornish game hen, kimchi, pickled veggies, sautéed green beans, dipping sauces, and samgyeopsul with lettuce leaves and parrilla leaves." Alex licked her lips, she was looking forward to it.

"Wow, that's a ton of food. What's the special occasion?" RM looked at Sabrina.

"Just you guys being here and getting to treat you. That's all." Sabrina smiled at them then picked up her book to read.

After they had finished their dinner that night, everyone went to their rooms to pack for the lake. Alex finished her packing then went up to the office to see if Yoongi was done. She walked in and laid down on the bed while she watched him pack his bag.

"I really like your home, it's such a quiet place. Your mom has been good to us." Yoongi talked to her while he folded clothes and placed them in the bag.

"Yeah, it's one of my favorite places: right after the beach, and anywhere you are." Alex rested her head on her fist.

Yoongi stopped and went over to lay next to her on the bed. He leaned in and gave her a quick kiss, "I love you."

She smiled at him, "I love you too."

Suddenly August, the family cat, jumped up on the bed and walked over to rub against Yoongi. He circled around three times before laying on the bed against his stomach. Yoongi looked down at the cat then up to Alex, "Why? Why me?"

"Because, that's you. Grumpy kitty." She laughed as he cringed. "I better get to bed. Its a three hour drive up to the lake tomorrow so we'll probably head out late morning."

"OK. I wish you could stay with me tonight." He tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Me too, but, not in momma's house." She ruffled his hair then scooted off the bed. "Night handsome."

Yoongi waved as she left then rolled onto his back and stared up at the ceiling as the cat continued sleeping next to him. He kept discovering new sides of Alex that made him fall in love with her even more. Seeing her where she grew up comforted him. Meeting her family had gone well, and he got along with her mom. He let out a breath, glad he had cleared that hurdle.
