Jungkook held the well-preserved book in his hands as he eyed Taehyung with surprised eyes.
The leather was in extremely good condition, with various color sticky notes sticking out from the top of the pages.
"I want you to have it." Taehyung spoke softly, cheeks flushed.
"Tae, I-" Jungkook began before he was cut off.
"I know you probably won't read all of it, and that's fine. But if there's a part of you that's ever curious, I personally highlighted and marked some of my favorite lines and verses. I thought I could share them with you."
Jungkook's eyes softened as he looked at the timid boy perched on his lap, gently setting the Bible down beside him before bringing Taehyung into a warm hug.
"Thank you, I'll take good care of it. I promise." Jungkook whispered into Taehyung's ear as the boy rested his head on the male's shoulder.
Taehyung hummed softly as the sweet moment progressed before the sound of jimin's loud laugh from somewhere else in the house reminded them that the others were waiting for them.
"Let's go eat some cake, yeah?" Jungkook suggested before Taehyung nodded and got off the male's lap.
Both boys smiled when they linked hands before stepping out of Jungkook's room.
-
They ended up eating the cake soon after Jungkook plunged the knife in first.
Chanyeol woke up a little bit after that, dancing around the kitchen when he spotted all of Jungkook's friends there.
Taehyung watched with a shy smile as Jimin mouth fed Yoongi some of his cake, the male's lips curving into a small smile when Jimin turned away.
Taehyung was busy being entertained by Chanyeol to notice how Jungkook was staring at him with dazed eyes.
"Hey Tae so are you coming to Yoongi's tonight for the party?" Jimin asked, making all eyes snap to him.
"You know what, I'll just walk away because I do not condone this." Jungkook's mother singsong-ed as she took a forkful of cake into her mouth and left the room.
"Uh- I'm not too sure." Taehyung spoke warily, ignoring Jungkook's intense gaze.
"Come on it's going to be so much fun!" Jimin begged, eyes shining.
"You don't have to if you don't want to." Jungkook spoke from beside him, comforting smile on his face.

He knew that loud music and alcohol probably weren't Taehyung's cup of tea.
"I'll think about it." Taehyung said finally, and that was the end of the conversation.
They chatted for a while longer until Jimin mentioned that he had to go help his mother with the bakery and Yoongi had to go prepare his house for the party later.
Taehyung decided he should probably get going as well, saying his goodbyes to Jungkook and his mother before leaving with Jimin.
-
It was around eight thirty at night when Taehyung's mother left for her night shift at work, leaving the boy home alone seeing as the pastor wouldn't be back until the following morning.
He bit his lip as he watched his mother reverse out of the driveway. At first, he had absolutely no intentions of going to Jungkook's birthday party but after much thought and process he realized that perhaps it wouldn't hurt to go for a little bit.
Besides, it was his boyfriend's birthday after all and he should probably be there to celebrate with him.
So he quickly ran to freshen up and get changed, hoping he could still catch Jimin at his house before he left to the party.
He looked at himself one last time in the mirror before smiling widely and leaving his house after locking up.
He could feel his heart pumping with adrenaline as he ran down the streets of his town, looking for the small cozy home of park Jimin.
Fortunately he made it just in time to see the boy leaving his house clad in tight black jeans and a light washed denim jacket.
"Jimin!" Taehyung huffed, smiling widely as he reached the boy.
"Tae! What are you doing here?" Jimin asked, a look of surprise taking over his features.
"I've decided to go to the party after all!" Taehyung smiled widely as Jimin gasped happily and hugged him enthusiastically.
"Yes! Okay let's go!" Jimin dragged Taehyung by his wrist, leading them down the street.
-
As soon as they turned down Yoongi's street they could hear the loud music blasting full volume making Taehyung's eyes widen in surprise.
"Whoa it's so loud." Taehyung's lips parted as they reached the front lawn, seeing people dancing around with beer cans in hand and cigarette smoke in the air.

"Yeah, it can get pretty hectic." Jimin smiled as he squeezed Taehyung's hand in encouragement.
"Come on let's go inside." Jimin yelled lightly over the music as they made it through the doorway, pushing through sweaty bodies and clouds of smoke.
Taehyung coughed lightly as a male blew the smoke in his face, eager to find Jungkook and stay by his side.
"Jimin!" Taehyung heard Yoongi yell from somewhere in the house, feeling Jimin leading him through more drunken people.
"Hey where's Jungkook? Taehyung wants to go with him." Jimin explained to his lover who had a bottle of beer in hand but did not appear totally wasted.
"He's in my room using the bathroom." Yoongi explained as he eyed Taehyung, watching as the small boy's eyes darted around the room curiously.
"Okay I'll be right back let me go take him." Jimin smiled, quickly pressing his lips to Yoongi's, making Taehyung's cheeks flush.
"Come on, Yoongi's bedroom is upstairs." Jimin led the boy through the house.
Once they were in front of the door Jimin turned around to walk away making Taehyung look at him confused.
"You're leaving?" He asked.
"Yeah, I mean I really don't want to know what you guys might do in there." He smirked lightly, wiggling his eyebrows at Taehyung.
The boy gasped, cheeks burning in embarrassment.
"Jimin!" He shrieked lightly.
But nonetheless Jimin smiled at him one last time before walking back downstairs.
Taehyung shook his head lightly before giggling to himself as he stood in front of the door. He lightly brushed his hair out of his eyes, preparing himself to see Jungkook.
He exhaled loudly, wide smile on his face as he twisted the knob and opened the door.
His beautiful, precious smile was quickly wiped off his face at the sight before him.
Because there sat on Yoongi's bed was Jungkook with a blonde female straddling his lap, lips touching.
Immediately their eyes were on Taehyung as he stood by the door, heartbroken beyond belief.
His throat burned and he felt like someone had just punched him in the stomach. His eyes quickly swelled up with tears as he stared in shock as Jungkook's eyes met his.
The female seemed a bit annoyed at his presence, as if waiting for him to apologize for the interruption and go on with his night.
Taehyung couldn't manage any words, lips quivering as he realized what Jungkook had been doing.
"Tae- baby please-" Jungkook began slowly, making Taehyung finally come back to his senses and bolt out of the room and down the stairs, not waiting to hear what Jungkook had to say.
He pushed people out his way, not caring how rude he was being as he brushed away his tears.
He didn't want to listen to what Jungkook had to say, he didn't want to see his face or hear his name or remember how he kissed that woman.
His heart was hurting and he couldn't hold back his sobs as he exited Yoongi's house, not bothering to say goodbye to anyone.
He pulled at his hair as he walked down the dark lonely street, the sound of the music playing getting farther away with every step he took.
He cried as the image of Jungkook with the pretty blonde girl on his lap filled his brain.
How stupid could he have been to believe Jungkook when he told him how pretty and beautiful he looked.
He was so stupid to believe that someone like Jungkook actually liked him and wanted to be with him.
Perhaps Jungkook just wanted to play with him, the stupid innocent little church boy who could never hurt a fly.
Or maybe he just wanted to get into his pants so he could boast about it later.
He was too immersed in his thoughts to hear the sound of a car engine pull up beside him until he heard the voice of the last person he wanted to see at the moment.
"Get in." He said, making Taehyung eye him with tear-filled eyes, shaking his head.
"I said get in or I'll force you in myself." The male spoke as he gripped the steering wheel, making Taehyung whimper in slight fear before hesitantly opening the passenger door.
He sat stiffly as he sniffled and cried, watching the road in front of him as Hoseok sped off down the street.

Transformers: Heroes
Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universe. A century ago, the eons-old war between the Autobots and the Decepticons suddenly and inexplicably came to an end. Since then, many have gone their separate ways, whilst others still hold onto the bitter memories of war. Now, as Autobots and Neutrals join forces in a new directive to capture every Decepticon still left alive, it appears that the Autobots will finally get their chance to even the score, and defeat their enemies once and for all. But when they become the target of seemingly random, yet terrifying attacks, some begin to realize that the enemy may be much closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined. Author's Notes: While it helps to have a little bit of prior knowledge about the world of Transformers, you don't need to be a Transformers fan to enjoy this story, or even a Decepticons fan! One thing I can say for sure is that it is unlike any Transformers fan fiction you've ever come across. This story aims to explore one possible set of motivations in depth in a setting of ongoing conflict between the Autobots (and, more recently, the Alliance - a collaboration between Autobots and Neutrals) and the Decepticons. Although this story takes a lot of things from the G1 cartoon, it is by no means strictly G1 toon oriented and introduces characters and/or ideas from other continuities (Sentinel Prime, Jhiaxus, Thunderblast and Rook (not the Autobot Rook - the other Rook!). Set primarily on Cybertron and Alternity City, it also deviates from certain key elements common in Transformers canon. For one thing, the general consensus that all Autobots are good and all Decepticons are bad is challenged, and a new meaning to the motivations behind their conflict is offered (which is a recurring theme in my Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universes). Some personalities have been altered from their canonical profiles as a necessity (Megatron being the most obvious example) and developed to a much deeper level than the original cartoon allowed. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading.
