Taehyung sniffled loudly as he closed his eyes tightly, the feeling of dry and fresh tears on his cheeks.
He could feel the male in front staring at him with piercing eyes, making him feel so small.
Taehyung was stiff in his movements, or therefore lack of.
His hands were in between his thighs as he clenched them together, feeling so out of it.
The male across from him was beginning to look upset, arms crossed over each other as he spoke.
"Well, are you going to eat or not?" He barked out, making Taehyung jolt lightly in his seat.
The small ramen shop they were currently at was relatively empty with the except of a young couple sitting by the far end of the room.
A huge steaming bowl of ramen was sitting sadly in front of Taehyung, having not been touched once.
Despite Hoseok taking him to eat and being, somewhat kind, he was still a bit afraid of the male who seemed to hate him.
He was quick to jump into action, although he was anything but hungry after what had just happened.
He hurried to pull his chopsticks apart and start eating, not wanting Hoseok to be upset even though he had been the one to buy him the meal without question.
He took a small bite of the delicious food before he gave up, crying into the bowl like a child.
"Can you shut up, people are going to think I'm holding you hostage or something." Hoseok hissed as he stared back at the concerned looking cashier.
You kind of are, Taehyung wanted to say.
"S-Sorry." Taehyung stuttered, sniffling loudly.
Hoseok just sighed into his hands, looking more than a little annoyed.
"Why the hell are you crying anyway." He shook his head, voice sounding totally uninterested.
Taehyung flinched lightly, the image that he had been trying to erase from his mind, flooding back in.
"I-I saw Jungkook kissing another girl." He sniffled, eyes red and puffy.
It was silent for a moment as Hoseok put the missing pieces together and figured that they had already confessed their feelings.

He was surprised to say the least, not expecting someone like Taehyung to actually admit to himself that he was gay. Much less, cry over another male in front of him.
But then he remembered what Taehyung had said about why he was upset, brows furrowed in confusion.
Because he knew Jungkook since he was six and that boy was not capable of doing something like that, especially if he was in a committed relationship.
He remembered all the times he and Jungkook would sit by his front porch, smoking a cigarette and talking about life.
But that was two years ago and things have certainly changed.
"Jungkook's not like that." Hoseok spoke, voice so sure of himself.
Taehyung sniffled loudly as he looked up at Hoseok, finding him already staring at him.
He was suddenly reminded of the picture he had seen in Jungkook's truck, how close Hoseok and Jungkook looked.
"Well then maybe he's changed because I clearly saw him sitting with a girl on his lap." Taehyung raised his voice lightly, starting to feel a bit angry.
"He wouldn't do something like that." Hoseok repeated in an obvious tone.
"How do you know?" Taehyung asked, tears streaming down his cheeks.
Taehyung was silent for a second before he whined, "What am I supposed to do? Just believe him right away?"
"Now I never said that but let me guess, you left before he could even start talking."
Hoseok watched as Taehyung stayed quiet, deep pout on his lips.
"It just hurt too much seeing him with someone else." Taehyung whispered softly.
"Look all I'm saying is that he would never go against his own morals and cheat on someone." Hoseok sighed.
Taehyung bit his lip harshly, unable to stop himself from asking, slightly terrified of Hoseok's reaction.
"Y-You and Jungkook were close friends, right? I saw you in a picture that I found in Jungkook's truck." Taehyung spoke slowly, curious eyes focused on Hoseok.
It was slightly alarming how quick he closed himself off, clearing his throat loudly and standing up from his seat.

"It's already late, hurry up so I can get rid of you." Hoseok spoke coldly, fishing out his car keys from his pocket.
Taehyung's mouth open and closed like a fish as he stood up, following the male out to his car like a lost child.
It was more than clear that Hoseok was done talking, refusing to answer any of his questions.
The bell rang above their heads as they exited the small shop, Taehyung waddling across the lot after Hoseok.
He hadn't even noticed the all too familiar pickup truck pulling into the lot until Jungkook got out of the passenger side before the truck even came to a complete stop.
Taehyung watched with wide eyes as Jungkook marched his way up to them, Yoongi angrily getting out of the driver side door clearly annoyed with Jungkook's behavior.
Hoseok had stopped walking, stepping closer to Taehyung just in case.
Taehyung could see the fire in Jungkook's eyes the second he saw Hoseok beside him, forcing him to act quick.
"Jungkook stop!" He spoke the second Jungkook pushed Hoseok back, making him stumble.
He could smell the faint scent of alcohol wafting off of him, reminding him of the party.
But Hoseok did nothing, face emotionless as Jungkook pressed their chests together, breathing on his face.
"What do you think you're doing." Jungkook spoke through clenched teeth.
Hoseok didn't reply, eyes not wavering.
"Jungkook go home, please." Taehyung begged, heart aching when he grabbed Jungkook's wrist, yanking him back to face him.
"Taehyung baby we need to talk-" Jungkook pleaded, eyes desperate as he gently cupped Taehyung's cheek.
"Jungkook please, I'm begging you. Go home." Taehyung spoke softly, feeling hot tears slide down his cheeks.
His brain was foggy and fried and just done for the night and all he wanted to do was go home and sleep it off.
Taehyung slowly removed Jungkook's hand from his cheek, walking backwards until he stood beside Hoseok.
Jungkook looked hurt as he witnessed the scene before him, a lone tear slipping down his eye.
"Are you kidding me? You're leaving with him?!" Jungkook spat angrily, Yoongi finally coming up to push him into the truck.
Taehyung didn't reply, eyes watching sadly as Jungkook fought against Yoongi but in the end climbed into the truck angrily. His eyes piercing into Taehyung's as Yoongi pulled out of the lot.
Tension was running high before Hoseok cleared his throat and walked over to climb into the driver's side.
Taehyung slowly followed, hands shaking as he climbed into the car.
Taehyung couldn't help but think how everything went so wrong in a matter of hours.
He caught Jungkook kissing someone that wasn't him at his birthday party and Hoseok managed to find a way to be there for him when no one else was and now Jungkook thinks that Taehyung and Hoseok have something going on.
Everything was so wrong and Taehyung didn't know how to fix it.
The car slowly came to a stop in front of his home, making taehyung shake his head to stop his thoughts from wandering.
It was dead silent before Taehyung slowly licked his lips and nodded his head at no one in particular before opening the car door.
Just before climbing out Hoseok's voice flooded the empty space.
"I was wrong," he said, making Taehyung wonder what he was talking about.
He slowly looked back at Hoseok to see him looking down at his own hands on the steering wheel.
"I can see it, the way you look at him. You're different than who I thought you were." Hoseok spoke lowly, not looking at Taehyung.
"You still care about him." Taehyung said, eyes sad.
"Don't tell him." Hoseok replied after a second, eyes finally meeting Taehyung's.
Taehyung almost cried at the vulnerable look in his eyes, the way he silently begged for Taehyung to keep their conversation a secret, preferring to watch Jungkook's life from afar.
The smaller boy only managed a small nod before climbing out of the car.
