It wasn't until later that same night that Taehyung discovered Jeon Jungkook's true intentions with him.
It was half past eight, he had just closed the door to his room after having dinner downstairs, when he heard a noise by his window.
At first he had been a bit scared, but perhaps it had just been a stray cat that was playing around.
He froze in place, waiting for the noise to stop but that was not the case.
A small gasp left his lips the second the noise intensified until a familiar face appeared by his window making his heart beat quicken.
The male rapidly knocked on the window, making Taehyung move quickly to open it.
"What are you doing here?" Taehyung hissed quietly as Jungkook threw his foot over the windowsill, stumbling into his room.
He grew nervous with the possibility of his father walking in on them, knowing it would be a horrible sight.
Jungkook looked around Taehyung's room for a second, eyes curious.
Meanwhile Taehyung was panicking, trying to hear if his father was approaching and see if his bedroom door was locked.
"Come on, I want to show you something." Was all Jungkook said, leading him back towards the window.
"I can't just leave my house, it's already late and-" Taehyung spoke.
"Please." Jungkook begged, eyes pleading as he gently tugged Taehyung closer.
Taehyung bit his lip thoughtfully as he contemplated the odds, at last he slowly nodded his head.
"Okay." He breathed as he followed Jungkook out of his window, jumping down before both boys bolted down the street, hand in hand.
-
"What are we doing here?" Taehyung gasped, clearly out of breath as Jungkook led him through the same field of flowers where he kissed him for the first time.

Jungkook didn't answer, instead let go of Taehyung's hand and dropped himself to the ground, flat on his back in the middle of the flower field.
Taehyung stood awkwardly for a second before hesitantly laying down beside him, shoulders touching.
They were both facing the dark sky, hundreds of billions of shining stars stared back at them as their eyes twinkled with the reflection.
"Whoa." Taehyung breathed softly, mesmerized by the sight before him.
It was beautiful.
Taehyung couldn't help the smile that stretched across his face, body feeling more relaxed and at peace than ever before.
He hadn't even realized that Jungkook had been staring at him for the past minute until he turned to the side, blushing when he saw Jungkook's piercing stare.
Taehyung couldn't tell if it was just the shiny reflection of the stars in Jungkook's eyes or if they were filling up with tears.
They stared at each other for another second, both of them silent as the stars shone bright above them.
And then Jungkook's lips curved up slightly, the bottom of his two front teeth popping out before he opened his mouth.
"I love you." He said then and there, without an ounce of regret in his voice.
Taehyung could feel the air leave his lungs as his face remained emotionless, eyes searching Jungkook's.
He could feel the butterflies in his stomach at the words, the way his heart was pounding against his rib cage and the unavoidable tears that pooled in his eyes.
Taehyung swallowed harshly as he saw Jungkook's smiling face staring back at him, a small noise leaving his lips as a tear fell down the side of his temple.
His bottom lip was quivering as he tried to speak, all recollection of memory gone from his brain.
"I love you too."

Taehyung's voice broke horribly at the end, voice barely above a whisper but Jungkook heard it and saw the beautiful emotion in his eyes, wondering if that's how his looked.
And then Jungkook was full blown smiling like a madman, finally looking away from Taehyung to look up at the stars.
But the smaller boy was still staring at the side of Jungkook's face, coming to the utter realization that he was in love with the boy in front of him.
He was in love with Jungkook and there was absolutely nothing he could do to change the way he felt.
He was lost in thought until he felt Jungkook's fingers intertwine with his, both boys lost in the stars.
"I wanna hold hands with you, but that's all I wanna do right now. And I wanna get close to you."
Jungkook sang softly, Taehyung's breath catching in his throat because the boy sounded like an angel.
It was beautiful and soft and it made Taehyung's eyes water instantly and his body fill with goosebumps.
Because Jungkook was clearly singing to him, and that made him feel like the only person in the world.
"You look so beautiful Tae," Jungkook smiled at him.
"I've been dying to kiss you, can I?"
Taehyung quickly nodded his head, making grabby hands when Jungkook rolled over to hover above him.
He quickly wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck as the male leaned down to press their lips together.
It was slow and sweet and everything Taehyung needed.
The way Jungkook never pushed for more, always respecting his boundaries and making him feel so comfortable.
The grass lightly tickled his cheeks as Jungkook molded their lips together, a small whimper leaving his lips.
The night was perfect and the sky was filled with pretty, shining stars that illuminated their faces and detailed their uttermost beauty.
"I wish we could stay like this forever." Taehyung spoke softly when Jungkook pulled away, eyes twinkling.
But that was just it, they couldn't.

Cultivating Earth [Hiatus]
[This fiction is on indefinite hiatus. I'm currently acting as a 24-hour caregiver for my step-father who had a massive heart attack. I apologize for disappearing so quickly, but sometimes that's just life. I'll return as soon as possible. Sorry everyone!] Zhao Gang, after hundreds of thousands of years cultivating, has finally reached the penultimate threshold. He is ready to ascend to the level of True Immortal. Driven by the need for a place his enemies won't find him, Zhao Gang puts together an audacious plan. He has developed a revolutionary new formation which will allow him to ascend while on even the lowest planes. To avoid drawing attention, he has to choose a plane that is relatively desolate, however. He chooses Earth. Fast forward three thousand years. Zhao Gang discovers what his work has wrought - a cultivation-free culture that has delved the deep mysteries of creation - he can't help but think how this tiny little planet devoid of natural energy could affect the course of all creation. There's only one problem. For that to happen, he has to succeed in cultivating Earth. Notes: Chinese names should be ignored in the social context - they don't mean anything. Sorry for slaughtering such a beautiful tradition. This novel starts off slower than most. If the slow-roll isn't your thing, you might want to give this a pass. If it's not for you, I understand. Also, releases may be broken up into smaller chunks. The goal is 5k words, but definitely more than 4k. If you see a short release, be aware that more is probably coming. I'll be honest and say that I'm struggling with each new scene, if only because I want to balance the scope of vision with good pacing. I hope the work I put into it is worthwhile.
