Sleep, train, pain, repeat.
It was like this for the last three months when we got that wake up call, when I had first seen the twins.
Since then Pietro, Wanda and I have become inseparable, we were a dynamic trio.
Just like Strucker had wanted us to be.
With Pietro's super speed, Wanda's weird mind manipulation, and my power to control water, ice, snow, we were a perfect team.
'Report to your stations immediately, this is not a drill, we are under attack! We are under attack!'
The intercom sounded throughout the compound, I looked at the twins then ran towards the gyms window.
I could barely make out what was going on until I saw it.
Iron man
"It's the avengers" I stated as I turned to the twins.
They looked at me before heading the the main room/ lab that was upstairs.
We walked for about 5 minutes when we saw all the doctors, fighters and scientists scattered around the room frantically deleting everything.
"Send the three out."Dr. Lists saids
"No, it's too soon." Strucker denied
"It's what she was made for and what the twins signed up for." Dr list argued
I grabbed Pietro's hand and he grabbed Wanda's.
We then looked at each other and nodded.
Pietro let go of my hand and Wandas and picked me up bridal style.
We watched as Wanda walked off into the compound while Pietro used his speed and ran off into the tunnels and outside.
Pietro stopped an put me down.
We scouted for people when I saw someone.
"Him" I pointed to a man holding an bow and arrow.
Pietro smiled at me before running and catching a arrow the man had just shot.
The man was about to fire again when Pietro knocked him down towards the snow.
"You didn't see that coming?"
"Um clearly not Pietro, I mean he's on the ground." I replied laughing at the man on the ground.

"What even is he? A hunter."
"Maybe, I mean he does have a bow and arrow."
I looked at the man in the snow before glancing at Pietro.
I felt myself being lifted before the world quickly became a blur.
Pietro put me on the ground.
Pietro turned to me and smiled "Do your thing."
I smiled before I looked up into the sky and made it snow hard, you could barely see anything, but yet I could see just fine.
"I want you to take down Mr. America."
Pietro smiled at me before speeding off.
"Enhanced?" A broad voice said, he sounded almost Australian.
"He's a blur"
I could here the American accent, it was man, and Pietro had definitely knocked the man off his two feet.
Pietro had suddenly appeared infront of me "come on we gotta head back inside the compound to meet up with Wanda, before they get the scepter."
I looked at him " that's what they're after?"
"Apparently, I overheard them talking out it, the big blonde kind haired brute and the man with the shield."
I looked at Pietro " well times a wasting."
Pietro picked me up and ran back inside the tunnel and into the compound.
"So where are we supposed to meet up with Wanda again?"
"The underground lab."
"We have second enhance, female, do not engage."
I could hear the mans voice, "Wanda must've attacked him." I said to Pietro
He smiled and grabbed my arm before walking/ dragging me towards the door to the lab.
We walked down the small staircase and spotted Wanda staring at the man who was about to grab the scepter.
Pietro was about to stop him when Wanda put her hand on his chest stopping him.
"You're just going to let him take it" he whispered at his sister
I looked at the man as his suit hand appeared and he snatched the scepter, I then looked at the twins, Pietro looked confused while Wanda had a evil look on her face as she watched the interaction.

"We have to get out of here before he spots us." I said
The twins looked at me before nodding and we all ran upstairs and out of the compound.
Pietro had picked me up bridal style and Wanda hopped onto his back.
"Hold on tight." He said as Wanda gripped his shoulders tighter.
With that we were off as he ran across the small city of sokovia.
Pietro stopped running and started to breathe heavily "we're here."
Wanda hopped off his back and Pietro had placed me on my feet as we looked at the small hotel.
"We'll be staying here for the time being." Pietro stated as he grabbed our hands and walked into the hotel.
We were in the lobby, the building was lighted with chandlers and there was four couches in the centre of the room.
We walked towards the grit desk and the man smiled at the three of us.
"We'd like a room, three beds please." Wanda said
The man went onto his computer and frowned " I'm sorry we only have two rooms available at the time and they both have one bed."
I looked at the man closely before looking at his name tag.
'Jerry'
"Listen jerry, we'll take both rooms then."
The man smiled before handing us the keys to the two rooms. " here you three go, your rooms are 307 and 301, enjoy your stay."
We got in the elevator and pressed level 3
"So how is the room arrangement going to work?" Pietro asked
"I'll take one room and you two can have the other." Wanda said taking the key that said 301.
"But he's your brother, you share a room with him." I complained
Wanda looked at me with a blank stare before smiling " I've been living with him since birth, it's your turn to room up with him."
"You two realize I'm right here." Pietro stated.
"Fine, Pietro and I will share a room." I gave in and watched as Wanda smiled.
The elevator doors suddenly opened and the three of us exited, I watched as Wanda walked left down towards the end of the hallway while Pietro and I headed right towards our room.
"I'm really surprised they didn't have any rooms available with two beds." Pietro said as I unlocked the door and stepped inside.
I shrugged "it must be a busy travel time."
Pietro laughed "sokovia is never busy."
I smiled at him before running at the bed.
"do you think we'll see the Avengers again?" I asked
Pietro used his speed and was now on the bed laying beside me. " I know this isn't the last we'll see of them."
I turned my body towards Pietro and looked at his eyes which were staring at me " I'm afraid one of us will get hurt."
Pietro moved his body so it was closer to me, he wrapped his muscular arms around my waist pulling me towards his body "I will not let anything happen to you or Wanda."
I looked into his eyes, the vibrant blue stared at me with an intense look, a look of determination.
I know Pietro, that's what scares me the most.
My thoughts drifted off, I didn't want anything bad happening to him because of me.
"Promise me Pietro"
"Promise you what?" He asked brushed a strand of my blonde hair out of my face
"That you won't protect me, you will only protect yourself and Wanda."
Pietro cupped my face with his hands " Willow I can't do that"
"Promise me Pietro!"
Pietro looked defeated " I. I promise."
The hesitation scared me, but once he had said that he promised I knew he would back down, Pietro wasn't the one to break a promise.
"It's getting late, temptress."
I smiled snuggling into his chest. " Pietro, can you hold me, just this once?"
The vibrating of his chest made me smile, I knew he was laughing at me. " you don't even have to ask, goodnight temptress."
"Good night Pietro."

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

Rehabilitating for a year in a hospital, the despair and dread of being alone and having nothing left worth living for finally got to him. I also strangely prefer using the Imperial System to measure Height, while I use the Metric System for almost everything else (Canadian by the way).

Cardinal of Sin
They say sin comes at a horrible price. Or...perhaps I'm misremembering the saying. Regardless, I'm usually inclined to agree with the aforementioned statement.
