I took a deep breath and tried to open the brown envelope with my shaky hands. What was inside would define my whole future.

I pulled out the white letter inside and took a deep breath. It felt impossible, agonising, what if it wasn't what I wanted. I opened the letter and looked at the letters printed inside

AAA

I had a future.

"Good?" I looked up to see Juliets ocean blue eyes, anxiously looking into mine. I smiled and turned the paper around. She placed her hand over her mouth.

"Katy I'm so so proud of you" she smiled

We stood there for a second, her lips glanced towards mine, almost daring me to kiss her. I tucked a blonde strand of hair behind her ear and heard the room go silent. I could feel hundreds of eyes on us.

I leant forward slightly and met my lips with hers, hearing multiple gasps around the room.

"I love you" she mumbled against my lips.

I pulled away and looked into her deep blue eyes full of love and promise

"I love you too"
