Warning: mentions anxiety
They watched them dump the garbage "This is really ruining my appetite" "So you think those three guys kidnapped your father?" Colt asks.
"I know they did" Jo said. "Nobody would believe me, though"
"Everybody thinks he went off on some business trip. That's what the Mayor says."
"The Mayor?" Rocky asks. "Yeah. My father works for him."
"The day before my dad disappeared he told me and mom he found something at the Mayors office. Some secret about the landfill"
"What secret?"
"I don't know exactly, but he said it would make them close down the landfill for good."
"They throw all kinds of stuff in there. Not just trash."
"They're killing the land." "And without the land there's no life."
She road on her bike with the four to a funeral "As for a man, his days are as the grass."
They parked getting off. "As a flower in a field, he flourishes... then gone" "But the eternal life lies in our souls and it is these shining souls" Rocky slowly held Blaze hand seeing her mood change.
"That go on to God. Amen"
The people started putting dirt in to cover the Coffin.
She leaned her head on Rocky shoulder as he put his on hers.
Colt hasn't noticed the two yet, but when he looked over his fists has tightened slightly.
He knew they were best friends but sometimes it made him mad that he felt like she was slowly drifting away from him whenever he seen them hang out. That's why he was talking to Jo more now to try and distract himself from them.
"So, what do we do now?" A guy asks.
"What can we do? We've done everything. We could."

"Obviously, we didn't. People are still dying!" Another women said angrily.
Blaze felt bad she wished there was something she could do.
"How many more are we going to bury?!" A man went to her comforting her as did the women that spoken first next to her.
"If I can just see my father" "I know all the problems would be solved"
Rocky and Blaze lifted their heads letting go of each other.
"Our people will stop dying" Jo continued sadly and walked away.
"We'll help you find your father, Jo" Rocky said.
"You will?" She asks happy.
"Yeah, we will" Colt agrees coming forward.
Tum Tum nodded they all looked at Blaze so
She sighed nodding.
"So your fathers been missing a whole week now?"
"Uh huh"
"Where do we start looking, guys?" Tum Tum asks handing the picture to Colt.
Colt had his arm around Blaze taking the picture "How about the cops?" He asks.
"My mom and I already tried the police but they wouldn't listen"
"We gotta start looking somewhere" Colt said handing it to Jo.
Rocky took it glaring at Colt slightly when a Truck came into the parking lot.
"How about there?" Rocky stood up pointing.
"Come on!" The four got up "Where are we going?" Tum Tum asks.
"Jo. Can you watch our bikes?" Rocky asks.
"Sure" she said.
They sneaked over Colt put his hand on Blaze lower back guiding her making her look at him confused by his touch. He just looked forward as Rocky bends down and starts walking fast.
The couple followed behind the two brothers ahead. Rocky got in followed by Tum Tum and Colt helped Blaze get in Rocky pulled her in more further than Colt got in.

They looked up in the mirror but got down when a man sat up in the drivers seat.
Blaze looks at Colt as he stared at her in her eyes.
Rocky pulls a blanket on top of them so they are all covered.
It was really hot inside that it was hard to breathe but Colt kept her focused making her look at him knowing about her Anxiety.
She felt herself move forward a bit than a stop noticing they had came to a stop.
They all got out bending down hiding behind things to keep from being seen.
"It stinks what is this stuff?!" Colt complains.
"Don't touch it!" Rocky ordered.
"I was only gonna taste it" Colt said with sarcasm.
Rocky rolls his eyes as he grabs Blaze hand and they moved the other two following behind.
They hid behind more walls then ran behind the dumpsters.
Rocky stopped them waiting for the guys to go forward.
He motions them moving quickly, they were behind another dumpster he smirks snapping his fingers slightly like he had a idea and they took off going under the trailer.
"See anything like a wrench or something?"
"Here" Blaze said handing it to him.

Lear County Outlook
Based on true events in my life. Think of these stories as H P Lovecraft meets Rob Zombie. Each story has pieces, confessions, from the rural decay of Appalachia wrapped in horror and madness. All are set in the fictional county of Lear, which is a dark mirror held up to surface, idealized countryside. Blood and familial ties bind deep in a hopeless and rotted south. Tales are whispered of Hill Witches and Demons. Shunned communities molder. All these truths are hidden in the stories of deceit and lies. The first arc revolves around theft and exploitation at one of the last factories of Lear County. Abuse of power draws all down the path of madness.
