A breath so deep
Voices strong
No one asleep
Because it was a song
Not just my own
But of the people too
Power was shown
By voices singing ooh
A look of pride
Voices free and doing preach
No stopping their successful stride
Because it was a stampede fit for a speech
Not just my own
But of the people too
Power was shown
By voices shouting oh we have the right of speech ooh
A combination of sound
Voices of instruments loud
No one spoke, not even a hound
Because it was musicians proud
Not just my own
But of the people too
Power was shown
By voices of horns tooting ooh
A true ripe gold of a gift
Voices are so wonderful
No lie, but a miraculous lift
Because they're so powerful
