"What?! Harris 2 months is too long!!" You groaned and sighed loudly into the phone. Harris had been on tour for a month already and he just called you to tell you that you wouldn't be able to see him for another 2 months, his schedule and your schedule clashing and making it impossible for you to find the time to fly out and see him.
"I know baby, but I can't do anything about it.." He sounded grumpy and half asleep, mumbling most of his sentences and finishing them with a tired sigh.
"Can't you just find a few days where I can come? Please!" You sounded desperate, not having ever comprehended that he would be away for 3 months solid.
"(Y/N) there is nothing I can do." He said bluntly, yawning after his sentence.
"But-"
"Are you deaf or just being stupid?!" He growled into the phone. Your jaw dropped open from his harshness, not knowing how to reply. Tears threatened to spill from your eyes so you just hung up on him, not wanting to argue with him like this. About 3 minutes passed before your phone started ringing again, Harris's caller ID showing on your phone. You answered but didn't speak, just holding the phone to your ear and listened to Harris. "Baby I'm so sorry! I didn't realise how horrible that sounded until the boys all shouted at me. I am so so so so sorry, I'm just really stressed and tired and angry that I can't see you and-"
"Harris calm down, it's okay...I understand." You interrupted him, knowing Harris would never intentionally hurt your feelings. Especially when it's over something like that.
"I didn't even hear myself say it but then Naz said I sounded angry and harsh and Adam slapped me on the back of the head..." His words made you giggle, you wiped the tear from your cold cheek.
"Glad to know they've got my back."
"We've always got your back babe!" Slim shouted down the phone, making you giggle.
"Thanks Slim!"

Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?

The Blessed Princess
Long long ago, there was a time of eternal harmony, when pain and anguish ceased to exist. The world was united as one under the rule of a glorious goddess. But this goddess made a stupid mistake, and chaos rained through her lands. Her people fought and fought, and she lost control over her creations. To sustain peace, she destroyed herself, and her remnants scattered throughout the lands and into the souls of her people. Her last words were to her daughter, the goddess of love, whom she had cherished, "Though I cannot fix the mistakes I've made, I can wish my people to be happy. No more endless pain. No more raging wars. Love, please. Save my world. Restore hope into the eyes of those I've created." She became the forgotten goddess after her world lost its ruler. First Princess Azulia was born a human with a shocking resemblance to the forgotten goddess. Her hair was ink black, and her eyes glimmered like priceless sapphires. Her features were uncanny in similarity to the goddess, even in the way she held herself. Though the goddess's eyes were more like icicles, Azulia's resemblance was enough to make you think twice. Azulia was raised with the mindset that she would be the future Empress of Hydrangea. It was a destiny placed out in front of her and carefully sorted out. Those around her directed her life like a pawn. Until one day, comes the beak of time, and her destiny points in another direction. Azulia must learn to break the tension her family shapes and create a destiny of her own. Her world depends on it, even if it means she must destroy herself.
