《Unleashed ↠ Elijah Mikaelson》26

Elijah and every one had been interrupted by rattling and banging upstairs. It had only been a day since her release and she was making their lives a living hell.
"Some one needs to shut that woman up" Hayley spoke out, holding Hope who had just settled "Hope hasn't slept and neither have I"
"We all haven't" Rebekah groaned, she rested her head on the arm of the chair and shut her eyes "I'm thinking about sleeping at Marcel's until she leaves"
"Elijah, she's your problem, please go and deal with her" Klaus moaned, he just needed silence. Elijah would have refused, but as soon as he opened his mouth, another crash occurred from above them.
So instead he stood up and with a very loud sigh, he turned around and walked upstairs. Privacy was something he did care for but right now, he didn't. Elijah barged straight into the room he had kindly given to her temporarily and was stunned to see the pristine room now a mess.
"I'll replace the wardrobe" Cassandra immediately stood taller, shocked to see Elijah barge in, the words she came out with were just reflexes
Elijah looked to the wardrobe, or whatever was left of it. Panels had been broken off and the bottom half (which was what was left) had been singed, like it had been on fire.
"What on earth?" He murmured to himself as he looked at the mess.
"It turns out I'm a hell of a lot stronger than what I remembered myself to be" Cassie twiddled her thumbs "I wanted to do a simple spell but I needed to get myself used to my powers again, but I've done it"
She turned around to the table, one of the only standing things in the room. A few glasses lay, one with liquid in.
"This is a spell of my own creation, it took me
Some time to remember it, some other attempts didn't go so well" she explained "you see I mixed eye of newt in with a dash of thyme and lemon juice, I used the ash of the dead and I tiny bit of wolves bane... I didn't want to touch the vervain..."

Cassie knelt down, being eye level with the glass that was filled half way with liquid. She looked straight through it and then she looked at Elijah. "I raided your sister's ingredients, I know she will mind but I'm not in the mood to tiptoe around anyone" she informed him.
Elijah still looked around the room, even the ceiling had turned black. How did he not hear or smell a fire in this room? It looks like there had been a huge one. "What exactly does it do?"
"It's similar to the smoke spell that deciphers between black magic and any other types, instead it picks up any abnormalities, types of magic used and so on. Basically it gives me the information I need to start to plan if there are any weaknesses or downfalls in the spell" Cassie went on to explain. She did know her stuff, Elijah had to hand it to her and she was getting straight on the task.
"All I need now, is to meet This Lucien Castle and get some of his blood mixed in here. I'll drink the mixture and I'll hopefully see anything of use"
"Well, let's..." Elijah had begun to speak, he wasn't quite sure if he felt uncomfortable or nervous around her. There was part of him, that did feel normal, but he didn't want to give into that side. He wanted to hate her, he wanted her gone.
"Shh" she placed her index finger to his lips as she hushed him. "Abnormal pulse rate, strangely unfamiliar breathing pattern" she listed what she could hear "I think this Lucien fellow has just arrived"
She left Elijah and ran downstairs excitedly. She left him confused, worried and at war with himself. How could she be so normal? Why was she this way?
The girl was absolutely insane, but she was a genius.
"Fellows, why the hush, if you're speaking about me let me hear it" Lucien called out, taking them all by surprise "or are you too afraid"

His eyes scanned the room, an evil grin on his face as he knew he had the power for once, he had the upper hand, he could kill them all with his bite. But the girl running down the stairs seemed new, an unfamiliar one with a strange aura.
"Ooh, fresh meat" he greeted her as she halted a few feet away from him, just close enough so she could see his face "and you are?"
"Cassandra Munroe" she outstretched her arm over-dramatically and walked closer so he could shake it. As Lucien took it, he bowed his head and kissed the back of her hand gently instead of shaking it "monster, heretic, predator of the supernatural kind, poison" she listed the words she heard herself be called in the previous years "oh, and not on your side"
"Lucien Castle, charmed" he replied like a proper gentleman "now tell me Cassie, can I call you Cassie? How come I've never seen your face before, I would have remembered"
She scowled at him "you call me Cassandra" she spat "I have been away for a while, I do have a life of my own that doesn't revolve around the Mikaelson's"
"I beg to differ" Lucien jolted forward, taking her by forced and turning her around, his hands gripping her shoulders firmly to stop her from doing anything else "look at these people, I can feel the hatred towards you"
"Are you sure it's not towards you?" She tried to wriggle from his grasp but he was too strong. Even Elijah, who was stood at the bottom of the stairs had to hold himself back, Lucien would kill one of them.
"No, it's definitely towards you" Lucien replied "look, you have faint red marks around your wrists, indicating you've been shackled" his hands slid down to her wrists where he shut his eyes "and you have a lot of magic stored in these hands, saying you've been unable to use your powers for a long long time. I say you've been kept a prisoner, because you did something against the Mikaelson's and now they're bartering your freedom for your help"
"Good guess" Cassandra laughed, still trying to get her way out, but she couldn't help but give him the compliment "looks like I'm not the only smart one here"
Lucien ignored her and carried on "now, Cassie..."
"Cassandra"
"I could take a chunk out of your neck right now and end this before it even begins" he threatened, Cassie wriggled again, her nails now piercing his skin, she wiped her finger over the wound before it healed and relaxed. Lucien did feel the scratch but he didn't think anything of it. He pushed her away and watched her regain her balance.
"But I won't, you intrigue me Cassandra, and I want to see what you have under your sleeve before I kill you" he walked backwards, heading for the door "or maybe I'll let you live, if you betray your captors"
Cassie hissed at him. She felt quite flattered though, this man was very charming indeed. "Maybe in your dreams" she replied
"Well I did come for something different but I'll leave without it, for now, continue your plot against me"
And with that he left. What did he come for? Probably to torture them over the death of Josh. But luck did grace them, as Cassie held up her finger which had the smallest amount of red on. She had his blood.

As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.

Chapters released Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12:30 Warning: After Chapter 11, the MC undergoes a significant change of class and race. This is due to a couple of factors. The first is that when the MC was created, James didn't know what he was doing, so he picked what he thought would work. The second reason is that he had access to more information to game the system a little. The premise is like when you buy a new video game and decide to play it without RTFM. After creating a great character and making it to the end of the first act, you realize that, although your character may be kewl, it is gimped and will not survive until the end of the game. Going back to the start, you create a new character with the knowledge you gained from playing the game and perhaps, peeking at the manual.
