《Unleashed ↠ Elijah Mikaelson》37

Cassandra blindly cleared her desk, hitting all off the items and papers away and letting them crash the the floor. Lucien lifted the witch up and sat her down, her legs wrapped around him as she pawed at his shoulders, wrapped up in a very heated kiss.
She pulled away for breath, however Lucien bit her lip so she couldn't move too far. It was a series of quiet moans and heavy breathing, the room was dark and the atmosphere was completely perfect. Cassandra shut her eyes and took a deep breath in.
She dug her fingernails into his skin and whipped off Lucien's jacket as he had begun to unzip her dress, but both were interrupted immediately by the door creeping open and the light flooding in. If it wasn't bad enough Elijah seeking them, lips locked, almost undressed, Lucien had Cassie's red lipstick smudged all around his mouth.
"what is the meaning of this Cassandra?" Elijah asked in disbelief, how could she be so stupid? Elijah took a step forward as Lucien sped to the other side of the room.
"I'm just letting loose a little Elijah, you aren't the boss of me" she replied
Elijah walked towards her, realising Lucien now behind him, Lucien shut the door quietly and locked it. Elijah spun around and saw Lucien's glowing eyes in the darkness, but soon enough the light had been flicked on.
"Get him" Cassie demanded and Lucien jumped forward and snapped Elijah's neck.
Cassandra scattered to the back of the room and fetched a jar of green leaves and stalks, she transferred them into a bowl and set them alight "nobody should be able to hear us for a good few hours"
By this time, Lucien had taken Elijah and sat him on a chair, he was just about to wrap chains around his body for when he awoke. "Do you know what's going to happen after this?"

"I'm just gonna wing it" she walked over, lifting the chains and locking them really tightly around Elijah's unconscious body. She seemed so calm.
"You'll be on the Mikaelson's list now, you have to have some sort of plan" Lucien was quite a forward thinking person, he liked to plan ahead.
"Oh, I have a different plan, but I'm not sure of it as of yet, you'll know when I'm sure" she winked, looking down at Elijah and really hoping he understood why she was doing this. Partially, doing it for herself and the other for a very good reason.
"You intrigue me Cassandra" Lucien shook his head and tutted, she was her own person, there was no way he was going to get it out of her
She sat down in front of Elijah, looking at his expressionless face, and she waited, she waited and waited for him to awake so she could enact the rest of the plan and tell him everything she needed to, to get everything off her chest. Of course she felt bad for putting him through it, of course she'd never be able to forgive herself.
A few moments later, Elijah awoke with a start, he tried to move his arms but the chains were placed tightly to avoid just that. "What on earth?" He asked as he looked down, he then stared at Cassie in such a confused way, he also looked hurt and betrayed.
"Well, go on" Lucien pushed her "have at him"
"This has been a long time coming Elijah Mikaelson" she shook her head, he looked terrified, why was she doing this to him? "And now you're going to hear everything you've done wrong to me"
He opened his mouth, but he didn't speak, instead Cassie cut her wrist and smothered her own blood around and inside of his mouth. "Do you like that, Elijah?" She asked "because that's the taste of blood, that red liquid there showed me how much you and I are alike, how much your family and I are alike"

"But I'm the one penalised for indulging in something I consider natural, something that keeps me alive. Elijah, your brother killed your mother, and you forgave him, I killed my mother and I'm the worst person" Cassie let it all flow out "your brother keeps secrets and you fight for his redemption, I keep things from you and I don't deserve redemption, all I deserve is three hundred years rotting away"
Lucien nodded his head with every word she said, knowing that he had truly screwed over the Mikaelson's.
"We're all the same, so why am I used as a puppet? Why am I tortured on a daily basis for having my own thoughts and opinions? Why do you have to kick me down so hard that it physically changes what I'm like on the inside?" Okay, she was going too deep now, Lucien looked at her strangely, she couldn't mess this up.
Cassie knelt down in front of Elijah, forcing more of her blood into his mouth "say you're a psycho killer" she demanded, and to that he had no reply. Cassie gritted her teeth, stood up and slapped Elijah harshly around the face, actually almost turning his head to the verge of breaking. "Say it" she shouted "say you're just like me"
"I'll never be like you" he muttered under his breath
"Oh really?" She laughed, masking the tears in her eyes and the cracks in her voice, Cassie seemed to take amusement in his little comment "I seem to disagree, I've seen the red door open and I've seen it all. Tatia? Everything and I think you're worse than I am" she whispered.
Elijah physically believed he wouldn't come out of this alive, this pairing was dyer. They had the ability to break him and then kill him. What are the chances of them letting him live?
"I'm not going to ask again, elijah" Cassie tilted her head "you'll say it if you know what's good for you"
"I'm just like you"

Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

Hero:Generation
UPDATES WEEKLY The world of Hero: Generation diverges from our own in the 1970s on a night known as “The Aurora Event”. Beautiful and luminescent weather phenomena covered the planet, for ten short minutes every corner of the Earth was underneath a cascade of lights in the sky. It was days later before reports began to filter in, more than could be suppressed by Governments and Nations. The Alphas had arrived. A small percent of the global population began to exhibit otherworldly and super natural abilities, changing the course of humanity. The Vietnam Occupation ended over night, as each ruling nation took action to respond. In the coming years Alphas would begin to change the globe. Russia eventually became an Alpha nation ruled by a mysterious figure only known as Father Winter. America, Europe, and Australia become even larger superpowers as their Alpha populations exploded, in time a United Nations force known as The Guardians was established to police and document the Alpha emergence. The worlds foremost expert in Alpha studies, Dr. Pavel Laghari invented a system known as the Laghari Scale, that scored Alphas on a scale of 1 to 10 across a wide array of parameters ranging from relative physical abilities to other parameters. Now, in most civilized countries Alphas are required to be assessed the moment their powers manifest, or be in strict violation of local and international laws. In this Age of Heroes , The Guardians have designed a new Initiative to recruit younger Alphas and set them on a path to greatness. Every year teenage Alpha’s from all over the globe flock to secure locations to take part in the Guardians crucible. Many will enter, but few will earn the right to call themselves a Guardian.
