It's been a few centuries since being turned, as a vampire I've learned the true wickedness humans can be. For instance, Didyme...she died. She had the unfortunate run in with some human vampire hunters who were allied with a pack of The Children of the Moon. Because of that she was kidnapped then tortured before being destroyed.

Marcus is now a shell of his former self, I often find him in his room or a place where Didyme's scent was strong. When we got the pack, we gave Marcus the right to kill them while we searched for the humans. Shockingly the human hunters are harder to find than the wolf pack.

But right now the only situation we are dealing with, is the child before us. We stand as a group at the carnage of this village, fire and smoke all around. Dead bodies lay all around, I see a horse pull a carriage away in fear. While in the middle of the village was a blonde child with no heartbeat, turning around we see the blood on the child's mouth and his red eyes. Vasilli Denali.

He gulps looking down when Jane goes to the child tsking him and waging her finger, but the child allows Jane to pick him up. He holds her as she walks away with him, too trusting. This child has been taught to be too trusting it seems.

We hear a scream and running towards Jane is Sasha Denali, the child's creator. She falls in pain when my daughter uses her power, Felix and Demetri are gathering the wood for the pyre. They gather up the bodies and throw them in, holding my hand up I let my fire out and the child looks in wonder at the rainbow of color hitting the bodies. I've learned how to completely control my fire and the level of heat coming from it.

Sasha still fights but soon Demetri and Felix hold her as she tries to get to her child, she doomed the child when she created him. No mother should ever do anything that puts her child in harms way, a mother protects their child and the best thing a mother could do is raise her child then watch what person they'll become.

But this vampire doomed her child, when Aro takes her hand and sees all the events he nods his head and Marcus goes to destroy her. We then head three voices call out "mother!" Turning our guard grab three young blonde female vampires: Tanya, Kate and Irena Denali.

Our guards hold each of them as they cry and watch Marcus rip off Sasha's head, then her limbs are ripped off. Caius soon burns them, Jane smiles before tossing the child into the pyre destroying him. Looking at the three they look in fear, Tanya snaps out first when we go to them.

When Aro declares they had no part or knowledge of what Sasha did they were released. I use my powers and destroy the village so there is nothing but ash for when we leave. As I do this I feel arms wrap around my waist and bring me close. Lips press to my neck and I close my eyes savoring my mate.

"I love it when you do this" he whispers in my ear "make the world around us burn"

"And be called the dragon queen?" Those in the guard have started to call my the dragon queen for my ability to create and manipulate fire.

"That's a bonus" turning me around, I wrap my arms around his neck as he presses his lips to mine.
