《Town or City |Wolfblood|》CHAPTER VI: Newcastle

Natalia was racing across the moors as a wolf, trying to enjoy her freedom as she was stuck with her foster family again.
Racing after her came a black wolf that was barely bigger than her, along with a smaller, slightly lighter-furred wolf and the two howled as they race to catch up to her.
Natalia howled and she circled them as they each butted heads and circled each other, until they all fell down in a heap and with a crackle of bones, it was Natalia, Matei and Emilia on the grass of the moors and yawning.
"Ah, the fresh green air." Natalia said with a smile on her face, and the two Covacis were looking at each other with smiles on their faces. "My foster parents would kill me if they knew I wasn't at school." She muttered as she was staring up at the sky in silence, as she spotted Emilia racing off. "Where is she going off to, and in such a big hurry?" She wondered.
"No idea. She might be my sister, but she is not exactly the wolfblood, that you trust to stick around constantly for everything. But in a fight, she is a real tough one to beat." Matei pointed out and she shrugged, as she hopped up onto her feet and she rolled her shoulders. "Hey, where are you headed?" He questioned as he sat up on his elbows and she shook the grass out of her jacket, as she sighed and wiped off her pants.
"I need to get back." Natalia pointed out and he sighed, as she reached out one of her hands and he accepted it as a hand up, before she was dropped into the grass again and he laughed a little bit at the annoyance on her face, as she shook her head. "Matei, I am serious." She murmured and he sighed, as he rolled over to look up at the sky again and he folded his hands behind his head, waiting in silence for something. "I hate you." Natalia was muttering as she moved over and her head was resting on his shoulder, and her eyes were half-shut and she dozed in the sun.

"I somehow don't think that is true Nat." Matei pointed out as she looked over at him and his arm went around her shoulders and she sighed. "Maybe you could come and live with us until Dad finds you another home." He was suggesting, until they both heard a low growl from behind them.
They both sat up and spun around in unison as a twig cracked and Natalia's growl was as clear as crystal and they both saw the dark gray wolf in front of them, as clear as day in the middle of the afternoon. "Go." Natalia said as she snarled and her veins crawled up her arms and reached her neck.
"Why should I? Why won't you?!" He brought up a valid point and Natalia's eyes glowed yellow as her pupils were now diluting into some very small pinpoint black dots.
"Because I think I might know this wolfblood. Go home, Matei." Natalia said and Matei growled at her briefly, before he raced off at the familiar sort of wolfblood-speed.
Meanwhile, Natalia crouched in front of the wolf and she looked the wolf in the eyes and there was a woman who stood up as two other wild wolfbloods were following her into the meadows.
The woman was snarling and Natalia stood up to her feet once again, as she growled at her harshly.
"That was part of my assignment. To observe the tames and how exactly it is, that they are choosing to live. Nice to see you all again. Brother," she was nodding to her elder brother. "Sister." The older female wolfblood glared at her, while the eldest of them was a strong woman, a wild one as well and she looked down at her daughter. "Hi mum." Natalia murmured as she was shouldering her backpack.

Her brother snapped and Natalia shakes her head and she'd walk to the boulder nearby.
"No Aran, I haven't. If Meinir or you bothered to look beneath the surface of me then you would know." She said softly and when she looked back over to see their responses, all of the humans were gone and in their places, were wolves and she growled a bit in irritation. "Of course, it is natural that they would just simply run from everything to do with the human world, as usual." Natalia said softly and she walked away from the meadows.
Natalia listened to the wolves until she realized that with a sort of sixth sense that she had, she still could.
She crouched in front of her and she swiftly placed one hand deep into the dirt in front of her.
Natalia's eyes were glowing and she was looking up at the sky, which was now full of trees, just as the area had once been before the deforestation that had swept the country.
"How am I to tell them that I have fallen in love with the human world? It has its terrors and my foster families have been horrible, but there are plus sides to living here."
She thought to herself as the Eolas surged through her and she focused on everything and yet, nothing as her eyes were seeing many different thing at the same time. The final images that she saw were crisp and clear of Matei, Emilia and their parents. Their happy family.
