《Yeonjun Flashback: Freshman Year》

Yeonjun sat at the back of his class with his group of friends. Hyunjin was rambling in his ear and he was laughing at everything the male said.

Then he walked in.

Yeonjun's crush.

Kim Seungmin.

Yeonjun held his breath unintentionally at the male's cute smile towards him and Hyunjin.

Of course, it was a male. But no one knew that.

Yeonjun was closeted. But to be far, he didn't really have a choice.

His parents were crazily homophobic.

Once Yeonjun had held hands with a boy in middle school and not only was he yelled at, he was locked in his room without food for a day.

So yeah, Yeonjun didn't have much of a choice. But he could still admire the male from afar, and draw him in his spare time.

"Yeonjun!"

"Huh?" The male turned back to look at Hyunjin skeptically.

"Why is your notebook filled with pictures of Seungmin?"

"What?"

"This." Hyunjin turned it around and showed Yeonjun his own drawing notebook.

"Why do you have that.."

"It was on the floor next to your backpack.. Wait! You didn't answer the question."

Yeonjun bit his lip. "C-can you keep a secret?"

"Of course."

Hyunjin couldn't actually keep a secret. And the next day everyone knew about Yeonjun's feelings towards the male.

The school day went with everyone avoiding Yeonjun like he had the cheese touch.

The end of the day came and Yeonjun was relieved to see Jeongin approach him.

"Yeonjun," Jeongin called.

The male just turned around. "Yes?"

"Seungmin wants to see you on the roof."

"Um.. why?"

"Just go what would I know." The male was about to walk away when he turned back to look over his shoulder. "Oh, and stay away from me, you're kind of gross.. I don't know what I'd do if you liked me." Jeongin made a disgusted face and walked away.

Yeonjun knew that would happen. So he just nodded and made his way to the roof where Seungmin stood in the center.

"Do you.. really like me?"

Yeonjun knew there was no use in trying to hide this either so he just nodded before whispering. "Yeah.. I like you Seungmin.. please accept my feelings.."

Seungmin just chuckled and walked towards the shorter male. "You're gay. That's disgusting. I wouldn't even date you if I were gay." Seungmin shoved Yeonjun to the ground. "You're a freak."

Seungmin wound up a fist but he couldn't bring himself to actually hit Yeonjun. He bit his lip and looked away reluctantly.

"Stay away from me. No one likes you anymore. The only advice I can give you is for you to find yourself a girlfriend."

Yeonjun nodded and stayed on the ground waiting for Seungmin to leave and counting minutes until he could leave.

The reaction from his parents when he got home was even worse.
