"Niall!" Liam shouted, slightly louder and the man moved away from the person in front of him. He turned his head and faced him, "Hm. What?"
"We're going to the next club, you coming?" He asked, Niall perked up and smiled as the thought of his favourite club sprang to mind, "Oh, fuck yeah. Only for a bit though, think I might come back here and leave you two to continue on with the other places or whatever you wanna do. I made a friend and they're fit."
Liam raised an eyebrow, "Oh, I see. That's alright then. Guess it'll just be me and you after then, Zayn." He teased and wrapped his arm around Zayn, stumbling slightly as the alcohol roamed his system. He quickly regained his posture and held onto the boy who held back onto him. "I suppose it will be."
"Well.. Let's go." He grinned, grabbing Niall's hand in a protective hold, dragging him out and into the building beside the one they were previously in. He didn't want to lose the lad who was clearly pissed out of his head so holding his hand and keeping him within distance was the best option for now, the three admired how the chilly air cooled down their warm cheeks and took in the change of atmosphere.
The new building was big with multiple floors, one for chilling and talking to your mates and the other for dancing and karaoke. The bottom floor was very familiar to Niall and Liam so they weren't at all hesitant to hop inside and take up the remaining space on the dance floor, Zayn took one look around and figured staying by the bar would be alright - with the fresh air, Zayn's confidence had dropped and it was even more overwhelming than the last place, he wasn't sure if he liked it. So he did what he thought was best in the moment and ordered yet another drink, this time a pink gin and lemonade... He'd heard mixing wasn't the best idea but it was the only drink that sounded at all appealing right now so he very quickly downed it and kept his head in his hands, watching as Niall picked up a microphone and yelled the lyrics to 'Daily Duppy' by 'Bugzy Malone' from the top of his lungs. Zayn would be lying if he said it wasn't amusing because it was and it was even funnier when Liam slurred into the microphone, lips wrapped around some random glass he had found. The two boys joined together and slurred a football chant which Zayn took the opportunity to record.
Acknowledging the recording, Liam laughed and pointed at Zayn, "Heyyy, who says you can record me, Mister? Who says."
"I want you to see this in the morning." The boy giggled, his vision blurry in the best way possible and his mind full of laughter. He was certainly drunk now and the thought of being tipsy was not even falling through his brain, just pure drunkness. He liked this, he much preferred this than the anxiety that came with tipsiness and the loud overwhelming feeling of being on edge.

"Zayn!" Niall cheered and threw his arms up into the air, "Sing for us, mate."
"But what song?" He asked, getting up with a stumble. He made his way to Liam and wrapped his arms around the lad, this caused a whistle from Niall to which Liam raised an eyebrow at. "Chelsea Dagger!"
"By the Fratellis?" The small boy asked, receiving a nod from Liam. "Yes, who else?" He teased and Zayn took the microphone, if it wasn't for the alcohol roaming his system - he would be shaking and hiding in the toilets at the thought of performing in front of anyone. With a suggestion to the DJ and a groan from the audience due to the lack of rap, the song was on and Zayn was singing along to it. Niall and Liam were both slurring the lyrics and the three lads were holding each other, just as lads do.
"I need another drink after that." Niall laughed and Liam rubbed his side, "You've had enough, mate."
"Just one more?" He grinned and Liam couldn't help but roll his eyes and pat on his back to gesture that one more would be alright but no more than that. Zayn fell into Liam, laughing. "You're drunk, Zayn. Are you sure you want to do work when you get back?"
The boy's eyes widened, "Nooo, Li. I forgot."
"You're not doing it. You're going to bed once you're back with a bottle of water, I may be pissed out of my head but I'm going to make sure you have a good nights sleep after this." He smiled, caressing Zayn's cheek and Zayn couldn't help but kiss Liam's hand. This of course left Liam blushing and Zayn in a fit of giggles, "You're too good! Be a dick again."
"I don't want to hurt you." The man said quietly, holding Zayn up as the lad regained his confidence in standing, grinning. "What if I like being hurt?"
Liam laughed with a smirk across his lips, "You don't. You really don't. You're too sweet and innocent for that." Maybe he should get Zayn drunk more often, this was amusing.
"Who knows?" Zayn giggled with an eyebrow raised. "Mmm... Let's not discuss this. Right. Tomorrow morning, Z... I'll look after you. That hangover is gonna suck and I want to help you get through it."Liam smiled, knowing it was true.. Zayn was clearly a lightweight and knowing he's never properly drank before, he was sure that the boy was going to wake up with feeling like shit.
"Thanks, Liam." He stood on his tip toes, in a fit of laughter. Liam simply held him and watched how he smiled so brightly with the beautiful sound of giggles falling from his lips, it was a gorgeous sound. "I love your laugh."
"What's with all the compliments?" He slurred, caressing Liam's cheek. His eyes falling towards Niall who was now back with another Guinness, sipping away and leaning against a wall. Liam looked at Niall too and then back at Zayn, causing Zayn to draw his attention back to the lad in front of him, "Pretty boys deserve pretty compliments."

Zayn gasped, "You think I'm pretty?"
With a nod, Liam agreed.
"Well I think you're pretty too." He replied quietly, voice a whisper. His eyes connected to Liam's, he leaned in closer and Liam did the same.
Liam grinned, running a hand through Zayn's hair, "But you're drunk." He pulled away, watching down at the boy.
"And? You're drunk too."
"Should we get more drinks?" Zayn asked and Liam shook his head, although he was drunk himself he knew that pushing Zayn to drink any further might end up badly. "Nope. Not today. Maybe another day."
The smaller boy nodded and cuddled into Liam's hold, Liam held him and gently rocked him back and fourth, humming to the tune of the random R&B song that was blasting loudly from the speakers. He wondered if they should head upstairs to somewhere quiet but decided on staying downstairs. After all, it was getting fairly late by now and they still had to make their way back home. He guessed the rest of the pub crawl will have to do for another day when Zayn's tolerance to alcohol had built up, he didn't want to be carrying Zayn home because he was too intoxicated to walk. Niall, however, was almost in that situation himself. "Nialler."
Niall put his head up, looking at Liam. His eyes were all over the place and he was stumbling everywhere, with a sigh Liam got a glass of water and interchanged it with the drink he had. With no second thought, Niall downed the glass thinking it was his drink. "Heyyy, that tasted of water."
"Yep." Liam agreed and Zayn watched contently. Liam was perfect for a caregiver role with the way he looked out for others, the way he cared so deeply about his surroundings and his friends. "Are you still going back to that person, Niall?"
Holding onto the wall, he muttered back. "Fuck. What person?"
"I'll take that as a no. Do you want to walk back to the dorm with us? We're off in a bit." He said softly, watching Niall. Niall nodded "Go on then." and Liam wrapped his arm around and under Niall, doing the same with Zayn. He ensured that the two were close by and safe before leaving the club and allowing the fresh air to fall back onto their heated faces and bodies. All of them cooling down and slightly sobering up to the cold air. "I'm sleepy." Zayn groaned, Niall hummed in agreement. "Me too."
"I'm also rather tired. We'll be home soon though, anyone wanna stop by a takeaway for some food on the way back?" Liam suggested, Zayn shook his head and Niall frantically nodded his, "Oh god, yes. It'll help my hangover in the morning."
"True, that's a good idea actually. Do you want some then, Zayn? It'll help you to sober up so your hangover won't be as bad tomorrow." He asked. Zayn thought about it, "I'm not hungry."
"That's alright, you don't have to eat much. How about you share mine?" He said quietly, rubbing Zayn's back. Hesitantly, the boy agreed and Liam grinned, "Awesome. Well I'd say tonight was a successful night."
"I still need to do my work, Li." Zayn whined quietly and Liam laughed, "Nope. You're not... You'll only get stressed out and unable to focus. There's no point in trying, love. I don't want you to become upset with yourself. You're talented and you need to be sober to help express that talent of yours to the best of your ability. We can do it tomorrow." The boy sighed in agreement and frowned, looking down. A pout was across his lips and Liam thought it was utterly adorable.
"Okay. Let's turn left here and go to that chicken takeout place." Liam said and the two lads reluctantly followed in his hold, the air was getting colder and Liam was glad that they were almost home. He collected himself and Niall some chicken nuggets and chips, mentioning how chicken always beats being drunk and how it's medicine to not get a hangover. The boys just listened along and Niall began to snack on the food as they made their way back onto campus. Zayn took himself a chicken nugget and slowly munched down on it, terrified that the alcohol would make his way out of his system and cause him to throw it straight back up, he was feeling a little uneasy and craved his bed. "Almost home." Liam reassured and it was as though he had just read Zayn's mind, easing his thoughts.
"Almost home!" Niall cheered and they entered the building, heading up the stairs. "I miss my bed."
"Me too. Right. Niall. Keep me updated on how you feel tomorrow?" Liam asked, receiving a nod from Niall. "Will do, Li. I'm not setting an alarm or owt so I can't tell you what time I'll be awake... it might be 7am or it might be 3pm, no one knows."
The man chuckled, "Whatever you say, lad. Go get yourself in bed. We will see ya."
"See you." Zayn yawned, rubbing his own eyes and at this point, Liam realised he should probably carry Zayn because there was no way his exhausted body could go up another flight of stairs. He set down the food onto the ledge and gently lifted Zayn onto his hip before retrieving the food once more and carrying them up. Once arriving in the room, he settled Zayn into his bed with his teddy up close and a bottle of water on the ledge next to his bed. "I'll see you in the morning, Zayn. You look very sleepy."
"I 'm. It was them stairs." He uttered, voice hard to understand with sleep intertwined. "Bless you. They do take a lot out of ya. We need a working lift to go in."
"Yeah." He yawned once more and quickly fell asleep. Liam smiled fondly and got himself a bottle of water too, he sat it by the bed and cuddled up in his own. He devoured the rest of the food and drank some of the water before changing into comfy clothes and falling asleep himself.
What a night.
