I was confused why he was looking at me weirdly. Arjun held my hand tightly.

"What?", Arjun asked in which he shook his head and put up a fake smile.

"But.. Aarthi is supposed to be your wife right?", He asked all of sudden which made me sense why he was looking at me weirdly.

"Umm... Well. She- I- you know, she's my childhood crush. I've told you about her right? At the last moment, I realised that Thara is really my love and requested her to accept it. She gladly did. I talked to Aarthi and she understood.", Arjun lied.

"But, Aarthi loved you too right. She was almost obsessed with you. How did she?", That man was really confused.

"Leave it, Aditya. Just enjoy your moment. You're going to be a king.", Arjun said and looked at me. I couldn't read his expression and lowered my head.

We settled in our seats and looked at the traditions people were doing to their new king.

"Why did you lie? You could've told him the truth..", I said as his gaze was only fixed on the stage.

"You will be embarassed. I don't care about our real relationship. But, you're my wife now infront of everyone. My work is to protect you and not let others judge you."

Impressed!

"What about my snacks? I'm hungry.", I said and I clearly knew it's not the time.

He pointed his finger where there a lot of snacks where many maids were serving it to people.

"You should wait. They will serve you.", He said in which I nodded.

Soon, a maid served me some snacks and a cup of tea. Arjun said he don't want any, so I ate without him. Those snacks were tasty. After I'm done eating, I looked back at Arjun whose gaze was still on the stage.

We were in the same place for hours. I wish I was in the palace. Why did I even come here?

"It's boring, Arjun.", I said and he scoffed.

"Told you."

I rested my head on Arjun's shoulder because I was feeling sleepy. It was damn boring to see this. His body stiffened immediately.

"Can I sleep for sometimes?", I asked in which he refused.

"Didn't I tell you to stay on the palace? Why did you even come with me then. Your should be awake till this function is over. Got it?", He said and I nodded reluctantly.

"I should be awake whole night?"

"Yes, you should."

"Please take me back home then."

"Bipolar", he said which reminded me of saying him bipolar on wedding night. He's repeating my dialogue.

"I can't seriously stay awake the whole night. Because I'll have headache if I did like today."

"I don't really care.", He said and I got up from my place making my way out of the palace.

He didn't say I should be awake the whole night. Did he?

"Where do you think you're going?", He asked following me behind.

"I'm going back home."

"Well. Go on", he said and settled back on his seat. How do I know the route? Is he mad?

I looked at him as his gaze was fully on the stage. Please look at me..

I sighed and made my way out of the palace. What if I get lost? I saw Arjun's horse which was chilling with other horses.

I don't even know to ride a horse. I went back to my place and settled near Arjun. Do I have any choice?

"Didn't you leave? I thought you left before.", He mocked me. I have no other way than being awake the whole night.

The boring traditions were going on the whole night and Arjun's gaze was only on stage. I was looking here and there.

"Prince Arjun, Welcome to our kingdom. Our new king Aditya have arranged a special dinner for you and your main consort.", A young beautiful lady said.

Arjun nodded and we followed her to a grand dining table with many chairs. I have only seen this kind of set up in movies. This is the first time I'm seeing it with my own eyes.

Aditya was sitting in the middle where we joined him. Arjun was sitting beside me. I'm not really hungry now..

There was a lot of meal in the table. But, there was no hunger in my stomach to put it all inside my belly.

Anyway I ate few while Arjun and Aditya was talking about some wars and other stuff.

We explored nook and corner of the palace which was very interesting to do. All the time, my both hands were holding Arjun's wrist. I was like a lost duckling following him.

It was finally early morning and my eyes were already heavy.

"Get up. We can sleep at home.", I recognised it was Arjun's voice. I was still holding his wrist with my both hands.

I got up laying on his shoulder. Because I was a lot sleepy to see who was I laying on. I went till thr horse laying on his shoulder.

He unleashed the horse and got up on it. He helped me getting upon it. I was again sitting front of him. It was uncomfortable. But the warmness that touched my body was soothing.

I rested my head on his chest again with my both hand on his arm. What if I fall down?

I felt the horse moving faster and faster. And sleep consumed me.

She was sleeping in my chest. She didn't move away from me since yesterday night. She was always holding her hand on my wrist. It was somehow good having someone relying on us.

She was sound asleep. I stopped my horse from moving. Because, if I ride the horse now, there's a risk of her falling down and I don't want that.

It was a hill top and I leashed my horse on a tree and carried her to a place where there was a small rock for her to rest her head.

I laid her down and sat on the edge of cliff enjoying the scenary and the gentle breeze blowing. I looked at my horse which was drinking water from the pond and was fighting with a frog which was inside the pond.

It's been just 2 days. Just 2 days. I feel like my love is reviving without my knowledge. Is it possible?

It's like I'm falling in love one more time after 9 years. I don't know if it's the case. But, she's my wife of mine forever anyways.

I thought my love was gone. Gone forever. I thought I could move on and fall in love with someone who loves me who is Aarthi. But, what is happening here?

I looked at her face which was arguing with me the whole night to go back to my palace. I have no issues in waking up the whole night because I've experienced being awake the whole night in war times.

But, seems like she have never experienced being awake the whole night. It was hours since she slept. She didn't seem to wake up.

"Thara. Get up. We can go home and sleep", I yelled getting no response from her. I sighed and stepped closer to her. I patted her cheeks and she was instantly awake yawning very cute.

"Have any idea of coming back home?"

"You could've rode the horse when I'm asleep.", She said as if it's a simple task.

"Well. Don't tell me if you fell down..", I said and she instantly shook her head.

She got up with my support and we continued our journey back to out kingdom. We reached out kingdom soon and we got down the horse.

"Go sleep"

"I'm not sleepy. I'm gonna freshen up and go see around the market.", She said leaving back to her room.

I ordered some of my men to follow her and defend her if there's any threat. She left the palace for shopping with my trusted Soldiers secretly following her.

After she left Ganga came into my room massaging my shoulder. It should feel soothing. But, it feels uncomfortable now.

"Not now, Ganga. I don't need you now.", I said with my eyes closed.

"But, you need me now. I will help you. I will help you unlike your cheating main consort..", she said which made me mad.

"Just get lost!", I yelled as she flinched and left without making me mad. She knows not to mess with me.

After she left another of my concubine came to my room. Why don't they leave me alone?

"Mohana! Get lost. Not now. Tell Chitra to not come to my room and disturb too.", I said calmly as possible.

"You're treating your cheating wife like a queen and treating us like a garbage. It isn't good. Is it? I hate her. She gets up afternoon. Meanwhile we get up at 3'O clock to cook you."

"What do you want now?", I asked tensed.

"I will help you calm you down. How that sounds?", She asked seducing me.

"It's broad daylight. You're going to help me now?", I asked and she nodded pecking my lips.

"Get lose before I call the guards."

"But-"

"Just. Get. Lost."

She left with her pouting face. I locked the door behind before someone else disturbs me.

I rested my head on the pillow and slept for few minutes.

I woke up in the sound of someone knocking my door. Don't tell me y'all came to disturb me again.

"Just get out!", I yelled at the top of my lungs. I know my soldiers or maids would not disturb me when I'm on my bedroom. Also, they will not knock again and again.

"I'm... Thea- Thara... Umm... I'm Thara."

God! What have I done!

I immediately opened the door and saw her disappointed face.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have disturbed you-"

"It's ok. I thought it's someone else.", I said and let her in.

She came inside and plopped on my bed removing the packages she bought from the market. There were many cosmetics.

"I bought you something.", She said with a smile. I sat beside her exploring the things she bought. She also bought some books.

She took out a silver kada from a small box. It looked so good. She definitely have a good taste. Simple yet elegant.

"You'll be so handsome in it.", She said as she inserted the kada into my hand. It was good as she said. After wearing it, I looked at my hand.

"Woww. It's really good. You're looking good than Zayn Malik!", She exclaimed and I frowned.

"Who's Zayn Malik?"

"One of the favourite singer of mine! Anyway. You look very handsome now. I got to go back to my room, and change into my new dress.", With this she left my room.

I looked at my kada and was smiling. It was so good to my hand. The person who gave me the kada made it more special.

"Isn't this the first time I'm seeing Prince Arjun smile? I didn't see you smiling even when you're going to marry Aarthi.", A voice came over and I saw Ganga and Chitra standing near the door looking at me.

My smile dropped and I turned back to my self.

"What do you want now? I do remember ordering you to not disturbing me.", I said in which Ganga looked at Chitra.

"Didn't you see, Chitra? How he snapped when someone knocked his door and when he came to know it's Thara, he regretted shouting like that. What could've she don't to him? Maybe magic?", She said with scoff.

"None of your business. Do what I told you to. Don't interfere in stuff that I don't want you to. And, stay away from her. Or, I won't see y'all are my concubines. I will chase you out. Got it?", I literally yelled.

They left with this and my mood was completely spoilt by them.
