Grayson's car parked in front of my father's Pack House. Before he could tell me anything, i jumped out of the car and ran into the house.

As i walked in the living room, i saw my brother sitting with my father.

They both looked surprised that they saw me.

"Where is she?" i asked, seeing my brother point to the upper floor.

I jogged up the stairs, them making slight creaking noises.

I opened the doors of her room, seeing her hugging a pillow and staring into the wall.

She looked so normal in one Second. And the next one, she was breaking down in my arms.

I hugged her tightly, letting her cry into my chest.

We sat down onto her high bed, her not parting away from me. I placed my hand on Her head, playing with the dark strands of hair.

My sister needed protection...

In two ways.

"How did it happen?" i asked her and she lifted up her head, her eye makeup smudged all over her cheeks.

She wiped away big tears and blinked a few times before she actually started talking.

"We were going out for a while. And he said... he said that we would just watch a movie." She gulped

"And it happened." She cried out the last part, cuddling herself up to me all over again.

"Listen to me." I cooed into her ear.

"You are a strong girl and you will get through this, with or without him. Just stay strong, please. You can do it."

I sat down on The couch, feeling all the weight of the world On My back.

My head was pounding with a stress headache, my whole body shaking.

"Grayson, can we go lay down. Please." I asked and he nodded, picking me up and carrying me up the stairs.

I was too tired to protest.

He placed me underneath the covers, cotton sheets warming up my body.

"Why do bad things keep happening?" i asked as i turned to my mate, my wolf and I looking for comfort.

He grinned sadly and hugged me, making me feel his signature scent of calming seas.

"Moon Goddess chose it to be this way. And we have to play by the rules, only this time. But don't worry, it will all turn out good on The end." He said.

"You promise?"

"i promise. Now go to sleep, you are tired." He said as he tucked both of us in properly.
