《Return to Ninjago (Book 2 of the Enchanted DVD Player tetralogy)》1

The rain is pouring hard. Like really hard. And I don't have an umbrella. Great.
I'm walking to school the same way I always do, my hood pulled up over my hair and my hands in my pockets, trying to keep warm.
Y/n.......
"Huh?" I say out loud. "Who's there?"
I turn around to the alleyway I heard my name from, but nobody's there. I walk towards the alley, and notice there's a strange wind swirling softly between the buildings.
As I come closer, I notice a glimmer of something in the centre of the swirling wind, which is getting stronger by the second.
I gasp as the wind suddenly starts pulling me towards the centre, but, for some reason, I don't fight it.
I scream as I'm sucked into the vortex, and the whole world around me starts spinning.
——————-
"Oof," I mutter as I land hard on my stomach. "Why does this keep happening to me?"
As I pick myself off the ground, I notice that I'm a lot taller than I was just moments ago. My eyes widen as I realize where I am.
It's been a year since my adventure in Ninjago, but the memories are still fresh in my mind.I do a quick check of my surroundings, but I'm not sure if I've been here before. It kind of looks like a museum.
I look down at my body, and I'm still wearing my wet hoodie, but the sleeves feel shorted and my pants are now three-quarters of the same length.I look down at my chest, hoping that they would have at least filled out just a little bit since last time I was here, but I'm still as flat as pancake.
"Welp. Looks like I'm still in the itty bitty titty committee," I mutter.

Suddenly, I hear a cry of pain, which send chills down my spine.
Wait a minute. That sounds like...
"Lloyd?"
I rush towards the sound.
"Lloyd!" I exclaim as my more-than-a-friend crumples to the floor, surrounded by... what is that?Sand? Oh, shoot; I know exactly what's going on.
I run towards him and slide down onto all fours.
"Y/n?" he asks, utterly confused. His fearful expression is going to haunt me for the rest of my life.
"Fight him off," I tell him. "You can do this. Don't let him get to you!"
Lloyd pants, likely trying to fight off Morro's voice that's in his head. He shuts his eyes tightly, and sweat trickles down his forehead. His adorable blond hair starts to turn black, indicating that Morro is winning the fight.
"Look at me," I say gently, but loudly enough to be head over the wind. I lift his chin up to meet his eyes. "I'm right beside you."
Lloyd's hair doesn't change back. Instead, his green eyes start to become black.
To avoid Morro taking full control, I do something that only seems to work in movies.
I kiss him.
I still love him, and although I don't know if he still loves me, I'm hoping that with my lips pressed against his, he'll remember everything we went through together and regain control.
When Lloyd starts to kiss me back, I check to see if his hair goes back to blond. He opens his eyes again, and I can see the darkness drain from his face.
"Oh, thank God you're okay," I mumble, burying Lloyd in a hug.
"Not so fast," a voice says.
"Morro?" I ask, looking up at the ghost who had just risen out from behind Lloyd.

He floats forward a little, and I pull Lloyd closer to me.
"Don't you dare," I warn.
"Oh, don't worry," Morro says tauntingly. "I don't want to possess him anymore."
"What do you mean?" I ask with a shiver.
Instead of answering, Morro heads straight towards me. I shriek and block my face with my hands, desperately hoping that my powers won't fail me now.
Thank the lord, a shield of y/e forms around both me and Lloyd, preventing Morro from possessing either of us.
"Argh! Do you really think you're strong enough to defeat me?" the ghost cries in frustration.
—————Lloyd's POV—————-
The shield y/n created continues to protect us, but as the energy radiates off of it, I realize that y/n really is here in Ninjago, and she wasn't just an illusion.
When she kissed me a few moments ago, it felt too much like a dream to be real. But now that my mind is free from that horrifying ghost, I can see y/n as clear as day. I couldn't be anymore relieved.
"How did you even get here?" I ask y/n.
"I have no idea," she replies. "It was like I was summoned or something."
"Summoned? Wait a minute..." my gaze falls on the armour Morro is wearing.
"The Allied Armour," I say, and y/n looks at me funny. Then she looks at the breastplate, and her expression becomes even more confused.
"But I thought the armour could only summon allies from the cursed realm," she says.
"Maybe you were an exception?" I suggest with a shrug.
"We'll talk about this later!" Y/n exclaims, as her shield is starting to lose its shape.
"Ah ha! I've got you now!" Morro cries, and flies towards y/n. This time, she's too startled to put up a fight.
"No!" I shout. "Get your hands off my girl!"
I expected y/n to scream. It was painful when Morro was trying to take over me, so I thought it would be the same for y/n. But she didn't make a peep.
Instead, it's Morro who is screaming. He's fading away, until there's nothing left of him.
"What the f*ck just happened?" I asked.
"Water," she mumbles, staring at the place Morro used to be. "Ghosts can't touch water."
"Huh?" I ask.
"I was walking in the rain before I came here. I'm soaking wet, and Morro just threw himself on top of me..."
"...so now he's gone," I finish.
Y/n smirked. "Who knew forgetting my umbrella would prove to be so useful?"

The Tentacle of Fate
The tale of the Human Empire, the Demon Empire, and the Alliance of Beastmen is a tale as old as time itself. It was a tale of war, of love, of hatred -especial of the racial variety- and it was a tale that the races scattered across the globe thought would never end until a single species would reign supreme. Yet at times it seems that truth is stranger than fiction, they never expected the world would be united in the most unexpected of ways...
