I was watching Beck and Russ rehearse stage fighting when Tori jumped on Russ' back. I stood up and jumped up trying to get Tori off Russ, Beck stood up and helped eventually Andre and Mr Duval came and grabbed Tori off Russ.
"What are you doing?" Mr Duval asked Tori.
"That guy was beating up Beck." Tori said.
"Oh, you poor thing." Jade said.
"I was sat right here if Beck was really being beaten up I would have helped him," I said.
"We were practising." Beck said.
"This is Russ." Mr Duval said as Isaac handed me my coffee.
"I'm Russ." Russ said.
"He's a professional stuntman. I invited him here to teach the class about stage fighting." Mr Duval said.
"And now, Tori says, "What's stage fighting?" Jade imitated.
"I wasn't gonna say that. What is it?" Tori turned to Dre.
"Fake fighting that looks real, like for a play or a movie." Dre told her.
"Isaac and I took a class with him last summer." Beck explained. "And we dragged Morgan along."
"Well, it looked like he was hurting you." Tori said.
"Why do you care?" Jade asked.
"'Cause I figure, he already suffers enough pain dating you." Tori said. Isaac and Jade went to lunge at Tori.
"You wanna see pain?" Isaac and Jade asked.
"You mess with one West you get three fighting back," I said.
"Hey, why don't we go sit over there?" Beck pointed to the chairs next to me. Russ was doing a demonstration with Cat.
"Now, if I throw a punch at Cat, like this..." Russ faked a punch. "...it's easy to see that my fist didn't connect with her face."
"Thank you." Cat said to a now confused Russ.
"But if we stage it from a different angle, then... To the audience or camera, It'll look like this." Russ said.
"I'm okay, everyone." Cat said.
"All right, I'm gonna pair you guys up, and each team will work with Russ this week to prepare a fight scene." Mr Duval said.
"I thought his name was Steve." Dre said.
"He does look like a Steve." Our class agreed.
"My name is Russ." Russ said.
"Okay, and on Friday, you will all perform Your fight scenes here in front of the class. Now, the pairs will be: Beck and Cat, Andre and Morgan, Isaac and Gwen, Darren and Jess, Tori and Jade." Mr Duval said. Dre smiled at me. I smiled back.
"Tori and who?" Tori asked. The bell rang.
"Hey M, where do you wanna rehearse?" Dre asked.
"I don't mind you can come to ours if you want." I said.
"Sure." Dre said.
Jade was going to Beck's and Isaac and his partner were practising at her place. I walked into my house with Dre.

"Hey, Morg," Jack said.
"Hey, little bro where's mom?" I asked.
"Already left for work. She said you've gotta make me food when I get hungry." Jack said.
"Alright, we're going upstairs to rehearse with the door open so come get me if you need anything." I said as Andre and I grabbed water bottles from the fridge.
"Where's Jade and 'Saac?" Jack asked.
"Jade's at Beck's and Isaac is rehearsing at his partner's house," I said. Dre and I walked upstairs to my bedroom.
"Your brother seems nice." Dre said.
"Jack is the nicer of the 4 of us." I said. "Our dad not being there for him worked out better for him." I said.
"How come you didn't join Hollywood Arts the same time Jade and Isaac did?" Dre asked.
"Well Dre, I used to live with my dad and he doesn't understand creative people. He doesn't understand his kids at all. The only reason I'm at Hollywood Arts is that I kept getting expelled for fighting." I said.
"So I'm assuming you know how to make a fight look real?" Dre asked.
"My worry is making sure I actually don't hit you." I said.
"If you're gonna hit me watch my face." Dre said.
"Alright." I said.
Isaac, Dre, Cat, Tori and myself were sat eating at lunch. Usually, Isaac and I would have joined Beck and Jade but they were having a date lunch. Tori was nervously stabbing her salad.
"Look at her." Tori said.
"Who?" Isaac and Dre asked.
"Jade, I guarantee you she's telling Beck all about how she's gonna punch me when we do our scene," Tori said.
"She's not gonna punch you without reason and she's too smart to do it on school property." I said.
"I wonder if mirrors work in outer space." Cat said.
"I mean, what am I gonna do if she really hits me?" Tori asked.
"Bleed, burst into tears." Dre said.
"I'm serious." Tori said.
"It's stage fighting. No one really hits anybody." Isaac said.
"Yeah, but accidents happen, and what if she makes An accident happen on purpose?" Tori said.
"If Jade really wanted to hit you she would have by now. You were rubbing her boyfriend then you kissed him. I'm gonna go eat somewhere I don't have to listen to this." I said. I stood up and walked to the music room.
"What are you doing hiding in here?" Jade asked.
"Nothing. Tori was just being annoying." I said. "She's petrified you're gonna hit her." Jade laughed.
"Honest question. Do you like Andre?" Jade asked sitting next to me.
"I mean he makes me laugh, we work well together and I don't wanna punch him so maybe. Like a little bit. I'm not sure." I said.

"If you like him you should tell him." Jade said.
"What if he doesn't like me back?" I asked.
"Okay first off you definitely like him cause you never doubt things apart from Dad's ability to be a dad. Second of all if he doesn't realise how great you are then he's an idiot." Jade said.
Dre threw me into the table and we ended our scene.
"Are you good? Did I throw you too rough?" Dre asked.
"Isaac used to throw me across the room play fighting. I'm fine." I said.
"We are talking about overprotective Isaac right?" Dre asked. I nodded.
"Next up, we have Tori and Jade." Mr Duval said. I sat down next to Isaac. I knew Jade had some sort of plan but wasn't sure how it was happening.
"Okay, for our scene, I'm gonna be playing an old lady who's walking home from a bingo game." Tori said.
"And I play a brutal mugger." Jade said.
"Yes, a brutal mugger who mugs me without actually hurting me." Tori said.
"Okay, as always, be careful, And if anything goes wrong, Just yell the safe word, Which is...butternut." Russ said.
"Okay, guys, ready? And..." Tori cut off Mr Duval.
"Butternut." Tori yelled.
"What." Jade groaned.
"Tori, what's the problem?" Mr Duval asked.
"I was testing the safe word. It works. Okay, I'm ready." Tori said.
"And...action." Mr Duval said.
"Oh, I certainly did Enjoy the bingo, Although I do miss bob hope." Tori said.
"Give me your money." Jade said.
"What?!" Tori asked.
"I ain't playing? Give me your money And your watch." Jade said.
"Oh, wouldn't you rather have this?" Tori asked spinning around and smacking Jade in the head with the cane.
"Butternut!" Jade said. Isaac, Beck and I jumped out of our seats shortly followed by Russ, Mr Duval and most of the friends got up.
"She's bleeding." Cat said.
"Cut." Mr Duval said.
"Let me see, let me see." Russ said.
"Are you okay?" Beck asked.
"No, Tori hit me in the face for real." Jade said. Isaac and I both turned to Tori glaring.
"No, I didn't." Tori said.
"Tell that to my bloody eye." Jade said groaning falling into Beck's chest.
"All right, you better sit down." Russ said putting his arm around Jade to hold her up.
"Somebody grab a chair." Mr Duval said.
"Yeah quickly, get a chair." Russ said.
"Here, here, here." Tori said putting a chair down.
"Yeah, there we go. Just sit down." Russ said as he and Isaac set Jade in the chair for it to break immediatly.
"That was a breakaway chair." Russ and I yelled.
"Aw, butternut!" Tori groaned. Jade got moved to a chair and I handed her an icepack.
"Why did you hit Jade In the face with a cane?" Cat asked getting protective over her best friend.
"I didn't!" Tori said.
"Okay, I believe you. Don't hit me." Cat said. Isaac walked over to the three.
"Will you back me up here?" Tori asked Dre and Isaac.
"Okay, look, I'm sure Tori Didn't mean to whack Jade In the face with the cane," Dre said.
"Oh, why does everyone think I hit her?" Tori asked.
"Well, we were watching You guys do a scene. You hit her across the face with your cane. She fell down. And now, her eye's all bloody." Isaac said.
"Well, that doesn't mean I hit her?" Tori said.
"I kinda think it does." Dre said.
"Jade, you know I didn't hit you. I swung, but I missed." Tori said walking over to Jade.
"Look, Tori..." Jade trailed off collapsing. Russ, Gwen and Mr Duval caught her.
"Hey, we gotta get her to the nurse." Mr Duval said.
"But I didn't hit her." Tori said.
"Can someone call my mom?" Jade said.
"I'll call mom." I said as Beck and Isaac got her stuff.
"She doesn't need her mom. Don't bother her mom!" Tori told me.
"I gotta call our mom." I said.
"And I thought we were just starting to be friends." Jade said before walking out. Beck, Isaac and I followed them all out.
Jack and I were hanging out playing on the PlayStation.
"So you helped Jade with the makeup?" Isaac asked coming down sitting next to me.
"Yeah." I admitted.
"Well it looks really real." Isaac said. "Back up career could be a makeup artist." Isaac said.
"Thanks." I said.
"So are there anyboys I need to scare off?" Isaac asked.
"Jade, Isaac's doing it again." I yelled.
"What's he doing?" Jade asked walking downstairs.
"Threatening to scare of boys again." Jack said.
"You realise Morgan's getting to the age where's going to like boys and you can't go scare them off?" Jade said to Isaac.
"Well I don't want an ass dating our baby sister." Isaac said.
"Language around Jack. You know Mom's gonna throw a fit." Jade said. "And Morgan's smart enough to not date an idiot and if they do turn out to be an idiot then he's gonna have to deal with us." Jade said.
Everyone found out Jade was faking but Tori still took the punishment.

Rise of the First Necromancer
Asrael Nessarat awakes on a sandy dune with a mouthful of sand and nothing but tattered rags in his posession. As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. Now; they are hunted, strung up and burned on pyres throughout the Empire by the Emperor's holy Inquisition- an efficient and ruthless army hell-bent on bleeding every last droplet of magic from the lands. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.

The Heretic Legion
Cover Art: Undead Master by Changling Assassin. Located at: http://fav.me/dbm60ex Used under license Creative Commons attribution non-commercial 3.0 per bottom right of the linked page. Summary: Just the story of a necromancer and his eventual army. Currently, the only major thing of note is a pretty fleshed out magic system. No set list of spells or specific incantations. Just rules similar to the laws of physics, within those laws you can do whatever is possible. Updates: I work Sunday thru Wednesday and updates tend to revolve around my scheduled days off. Currently, I release content as I feel it's ready for release because that's what I myself would prefer from an author. Warnings: This story is graphic. blood/necromancy magic that requires self-harm to use. explicit descriptions of sexuality. (though fairly tame outside of the marked chapters, at least compared to said chapters) and is generally darker in tone. If you're concerned you might start to read only to be turned off by these elements. See 7. Teetering on the Edge for an example of the graphic nature of violence or 9. Explicit Content for a fairly self-contained example of the most explicit of the sexual content.

Four story anthology
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] [participant in #NaNoWriMo] Preface: This fiction will contain four different stories set up as a challenge for myself and to get better at writing. The challenge for royal road writathon is a 55.555 word goal while the nanowrimo challenge is 50.000 words. Reader suggestions is turned on, feel free to point out errors I missed and I'll fix them up! Chasing sun, napping softly: Cultivation/Xianxia genre. Some parts will poke at the ridiculousness of the Xianxia gerne. We follow the life of a magical fox monster, who doesn't like how the cultivation world works. Said beast seems to have more knowledge than is usual for normal magical beasts. In it's infinite wisdom it decided to search for the main character of the cultivation world to have a cozy and safe place beside him. Our fox will act as a "wise beast" to coast along on the main characters rise to greatness, all for peace, happiness and that amazing napping spot in the sun. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing in first person. Comedic effect between talking vaguely and sounding wise. The cost of heroism: A story more centered around fights and mental health of hired mercenaries/heroes. The world is infected with an eldritch corruption. Humans are trying their best to explore and clear out wilderness and the dungeons hiding in them to establish new cities. Lords seek for hired hands to do the professional work. Thanks to the setting, the story will show how awful pasts are the norm and how pragmatic people became thanks to that. People exchange their sanity for riches, fame and gods acceptance. Interpersonal relationships change drastically and quickly. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing grim scenes/imparting a feeling of how grim the world is. Writing fight scenes. Showing different mental states. Describing their influence on people during fights, walks or even after successful or failed campaigns. Who will be the next powerhouse? : A story about a gaming show, it's host Staan and the different participants. Stereotype characters, stereotype backstories, silly challenges and quizzes. The winner of those challenges gets powerups for their power system. Be it magic, ki, psychic power or anything else imaginable and unimaginable to reach the power of gods. The challenges for myself with this story: A softer tone for storytelling. Making the reader smile and enjoy themselves. A different try at slice of life story. I was left behind on earth as my family conquered another world and enjoys riches, but that's okey because I got a cheat too! : Stereotypical Isekai story parody twisted into an Urban Fantasy story. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing over the top and overdramatic scenarios/scenes Writing in first person. Walking into stereotypical scenarios and making them more dramatic/giving them a twist. Different type of humor.

Knights of the Partition
We like to think there are no monsters. No magic, no gods, nothing waiting in the night but the stars and cold, hard science. It’s a comforting thought. It isn't true. Magic isn't common, mind you. Working forces is difficult in the Age of Man, and gods are limited in the ways they interact with the world. The great monsters of old have mostly been slain, or sealed away. But rare or not, the magic isn't gone. The great Working that protects us from the horrors of the past does not have the power to destroy such things. Instead, it created the Partition, a tapestry of worlds beyond the boundary of our own. There the magic roams, searching for a way to come back. I am a Knight of Avalon. One of the protectors of the Partition. How did I get this job? Poor decisions, mostly.
