《The Guy Named Harrison: Book One》66
Advertisement
Next week they hosted the Buccaneers on Christmas Eve. Then it was Christmas. Both his parents and brother, as well as her mom and Todd, were coming to North Carolina for Christmas. Carrie had the best Christmas present for him. It was so hard to keep it a secret, but she had to see his reaction on Christmas morning.
The Packers were giving Harrison and the defense some trouble this afternoon. The usual shut down defense from the Panthers had yet to be seen. All throughout the game, the lead had been going back and forth between both teams until now, with less than two minutes left in the game, it was tied at 17.
Aaron Rodgers was leading the Packers right down the field once again. The atmosphere of Bank of America Stadium was very uptight. Fans were sitting on their hands, hoping the Panthers could pull this one out. If they couldn't, there went the chance at the undefeated season. They already won the NFC South, and secured the number one seed in the playoffs, but the undefeated season still remained.
Back on the field, Harrison called a timeout after the Packers picked up another first down. He called all the guys in a huddle.
"I don't know what you guys think, but we're not playing the best we can play right now. Is that right?"
Many of his teammates nodded. "I don't want to lose this game. Do you?"
There was a response of heads shaking. "Who cares about the possible undefeated season? I think we're allowing our record to put too much pressure on us. Right now, our 13-0 record doesn't matter. This game is what matters. We gotta play this game like it's our last, like it's the Super Bowl, or the game to get into the playoffs."

He quickly looked over his shoulder to see the Packers offense in a huddle of their own. "We're better than them. Hands down. It's time to go out there and show the world. LET'S GO!"
They all clapped hands as the Packers huddle dispensed as well. Both teams set up at the line of scrimmage. Just like always, Harrison read the play and shouted it to the rest of the defense.
The Packers ran the ball. Harrison got blocked by the right guard who opened up a hole for the running back. Luke and David were there and able to keep him to a small gain.
Meanwhile, Harrison shoved the lineman's arms off himself. It was an obvious hold the refs didn't see. The guy was pulling him by his jersey.
He jogged back to the huddle and delivered the next play. The Panthers were able to stop another run and pass to put the Packers at 4th & long with only 3 seconds left in the game.
They brought out the field goal unit. This time, Harrison stayed out on the field and jogged all the way down to the end zone. It would be a 55-yard field goal attempt, with the wind blowing into the kicker.
He watched as the kick sailed towards the goalposts. All of a sudden, a gust of wind blew hard, causing the ball to come down before it had a chance to go through. Harrison caught it in the back of the end zone.
He was off in a full sprint along the sidelines. Up ahead, the rest of the special teams unit was blocking for him. Harrison was through the blocks his teammates set up for him when he encountered the first unblocked Packer.
Harrison quickly spun around him and was hit by the next player. He tried to spin once again, and was able to make it out of the players reach as yet another one ran up on his side.

He won this one with pure strength. As the guy came in for the tackle, Harrison stiff armed him and knocked him to the ground.
Then it was a clear shot to the end zone. He ran as fast as he could until he was within a few feet of the goal line. Harrison did a flip and landed on his feet inside the end zone. Then he spiked the ball as the Panthers team stormed the field and ran down to the end zone.

The Perfect Specimen
ON PAUSE: FURTHER INFORMATION BELOW In a world where zombies are common and everything is evolving to acclimate with radiation, our Main Character has a special trait about him that helps him acclimate and evolve with the harsh conditions as well. But where will that lead him, and will that be enough? Take a look into my mind for what I like to consider "The Perfect Specimen" Original posting can be found at https://www.webnovel.com/book/11219113306294805/The-Perfect-Specimen ------------------------------------------------ It's my first novel and I am writing here to just get some feedback. Please don't hold back and give me everything you got. I'll take mindless rants and very constructive good criticism. I just appreciate the fact that you took the time to read and review if you did! Further update. This novel is now on pause. I have been taking everything in from the experience of writing this novel, both positive and negative feedback. I will revisit this novel in the future after I get a more concise picture of what direction to take it in. In the meantime, I am going to be writing another novel on my own time and after I finish it, I will begin the daily upload process. After I finish, I will come back and revise this story on my own time and re-post it after fixing everything I want to fix. Thank you all so much for reading, I will be back with this and more stories in the future. Until then, be on the lookout for me! :)

Chronicles Of The Storylord: 12th Chronicle - Origin
Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am the 12th soul, but I am not as those others are, for I am merely a shard. My purpose: begin the Tale anew. For I am the Storylord, and I am the Tale. The Tale is all, and all is the Tale, yet the Tale is myself, for I am all in my domain. This is my story, the saga of many, the legend… of the Tale. Just remember this: “This world is but a story, and all the stories are true...” This story is in the same general multiverse as RE: Deity by lightningwarrior21, but will be almost completely separate except in a few chapters. I have permission from him to use his base multiverse, and you should go check out his fiction, it’s really good. http://royalroadl.com/fiction/9597 This ‘fiction’ will be updated sporadically, so don’t expect much of a steady stream of chapters. (I’ll try to do one chapter a week, but no promises.) Suggestions on how to improve this universe helps with the management, so comments are welcome, as are Grammar Nazis. I’ve had this fiction mostly as scattered notes in my google drive, and only recently had enough time to actually put it together, like I promised lightning back in January. (Writer’s block and schoolwork do not mix well.) The cover is not owned by me, I found the image on google images. Anyway, I’ll be back yesterday… or was that tomorrow? (I really need to get that damn causality generator fixed, me-damnit!) See ya!

Project from December 2019
Starting chapters are heavily invested in psychology and philosophy. A story about John Keene exploring a different world. This project is similar to 'Ex Legacy' and 'Aidan Alastair'; they follow similar plots. Ex Legacy has more of a completed feel so far - it's debatable, but you are free to read both of them: Aidan Alastair: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/31409/aidan-alastair-volume-1 Ex Legacy: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/48422/ex-legacy

Field Trip
To Meilin it was just a normal day, the day of her school trip. It should be something to be excited about and indeed she was, unfortunately it turned into a nightmare. Will she, her family and friends survive the horrors that await? This is my first novel so take it with a grain of salt, criticism welcome.

The Chronicles of The Green wizard
Garion Greensleeves always was an oddity. The first son of High-Wizard Garius Greensleeves and Adricor, a Noble woman of well renown, he would of stood to inherit much. However, on the night of his first full moon, as a baby he disappeared from his cot. His parents, after much frantic searching, found the babe crying in a small clearing of trees, a large feline creature pacing defensively around him, the bloodied corpse of a fox resting at its feet. As the parents approached, the beast transformed into a small owl and flew around the clearing before perching on a low branch of a tree nearby. From this moment on Garion's fate had been decided. Only those with magical blood could be capable of calling out to such a being as this. As Garion grew older, the transforming creature remained by his side. Wizards from all the continents visited the glade to see the child who had bound a familiar to his will as a babe. At age seven, Garion left his home glade and travelled the world studying to become a recognised guilded wizard. After many years he was granted the title of Wizard and was sent forth to advise, learn and ponder on behalf of the guild. After a while, Garion was assigned to a small nation within the vast continent mainly populated by man-folk known as The Patchwork kingdoms.

To The Far Shore
Post apocalyptic Oregon Trail. The apocalypse has come and gone. And come back again, and left again... nobody really knows how often. Nothing lasts forever, but nothing is ever completely gone. Which is a shame for young Mazelton, as his family has been around a terribly long time, and made an astonishing amount of enemies. Millenia's worth. So he has to run- from mobs, cannibals, soldiers, sailors, cholera, cattle, thieving sales-monks, starvation, mechanical horrors, vengeful spirits, negotiating your own marriage, and poison of every sort. Fortunately, his not terribly nice family has trained him well in the arts of core polishing. Or as you and I might know it- turning radioactive pellets into useful tools. And weapons. Updates Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Usual defensive tags applied. The goal isn't exactly family friendly, but you have probably seen worse on network TV. After the watershed. Not full blown HBO, let's say. This is the first novel I am sharing publicly, so feedback is very much appreciated and encouraged. Act 1 of the novel is completed, but do please let me know what works, what doesn't, and what you would like to see more of. Thank you, and Enjoy!
