Sorry for not uploading in a while, guys! My vacay got extended, and I had some family issues to sort out. And this new Pokémon game has also got me distracted lol so in return for my laziness, I'm giving you two new chapters. Enjoy! :)

An intense wave of agony slurped through my entire body when my brain brought me back to consciousness. Haggard gasps spewed from my mouth as I blinked, trying to clear the plastic film that seemed to cover my eyes.

But no matter what, the blurriness wouldn't fade, and I couldn't move. No matter how much I commanded my brain to do something. It didn't listen.

My last memories started to flood to the surface. Layla's killer. That fucking bitch got away. However, we did have A LOT of fun together. The punching and the cutting and the pain would forever stay with like an uncurable STD. And less not forget the taste.

A smile formed on my lips, remembering the savage yet succulent bite that I left on Layla's killer. Who knew ripping through silky flesh with your teeth while warm blood shot into your mouth would be so... orgasmic?

The experience was so fucking exhilarating. I should've been biting people before. Fuck knives. Using your teeth was where it was at.

Even so, Layla's killer might think they got away. But nah. I was going to find them, and I was going to fucking torture the shit out of them while deliciously getting my rocks off. And then, I'd drain the life from their body — slowly and painfully.

But maybe I should go for Gmie first? That stuck up bitch has had it coming since day one. My hands and mouth were going to mutilate her mind and body from the outside in. She'll be screaming my name and wriggling more than when Demo made her cum. I'd be—

Why does that sound more sexual than threatening? Kind of. I'm really weak, but I wanted to talk before I fully left for a while.

Honestly, no. Do what you want. We've been mostly doing it my way, and it isn't working. We've almost died how many times? Maybe it's time we do it your way. Slightly.

You can do things your way but try to think about the consequences before you act? And stay with your team. You can trust them. I know that, but we can't win this game alone. When we tried to do it alone, we almost died. I know you experience somewhat of what I experience, and deep down you know you like them.

That was an accident! Just like you kissing Jookie.

Well please reframe from doing it again. Please. NO! HELL NO. Keep your fucking thighs closed. Shut up and just promise me you'll stay with your team.

Trust me, they're not like everyone else we've met. They're like Jess. Just be yourself but tone it down a bit. Just try not to go full on cannibal. Fine. Fight only. And don't go full-own sadist or machoistic either. No just try to find a middle ground. You're lying to me.

Cause we share a fucking body? Fine. Bye.

In an instant, warmness clawed at my insides, and my vision blackened. That darkness went on for some time, and then, I awoke with a jolt.

My eyes peeled open and blinked a few times as I tried to feel for Betinia, but a wall blocked my invasion. She was there, but not accessible. I really was alone.

Clearing the sleep crust from my eyes with several quick blinks, various purple blankets and satin pillows materialized into view, along with a familiar yet unknown room.

"Huh?" Thick dryness caked my throat, every spoken syllable carving a line on the side, initiating a sharp ache. All of my muscle fibers hollered in stiffness and soreness.

Fingers clutching the comfy blankets, I peeked around the room and saw a car nesting in the corner. Yaz's room.

My body rested on top of her king-size bed, submerged in thick bedding. Copious amounts of bushy gauze, sticky tape, and large bandages veneered my skin, shielding me like a new mummy.

That bitch really did some damage to me. Ooo, I was going to sink a blade so deep into their balls/ovaries that the metal would get pregnant.

A harsh clapping noise pulled me from my inner thoughts. Sliding my head to the right, I spotted Yaz in the corner, twerking on her desk, ass aimed at the screen.

"Come on, give me those numbers," Yaz hollered, still twerking. Her back was arched, and she was deep into a squat, really getting it.

A soft snigger bumbled in my chest, escaping my throat, making everything hurt more, but it was so worth it. I think me and her would get along just fine.

She must've heard me laughing because she picked her head up, cheeks still slapping. "Betinia!" Her voice rang with excitement like she was really happy to see me.

That's new. Only people who's ever been happy to see me before was Tim and Jonathan. Sometimes Angie if she was in a good mood.

I coughed. "What are you doing?"

"Trying to get us McDonald's." Yaz stopped moving and jumped to her feet. "In one twerk session, I got 200,000 subscribers. I'm so close to being able to dip delicious nuggets into a Oreo McFlurry." Her bare feet made no noise as she padded over to me. "How you feeling?"

"Eh, just feel like choking a bitch." Fuck. Probably shouldn't have said that. Normal people don't say things like that, but Betinia did say I could do what I wanted... to a degree.

Yaz ignored the creepiness of my statement and laughed. "Girl, I'd feel the same way after going through the same fight you just went through."

"Trust me, they look worse," I said, thinking of the chunk of meat missing from their ankle. Salvia moistened my mouth, and I licked my chapped lips, heart thumping as I thought of the taste, wanting to feel that skin underneath my teeth—

"You alright?" Yaz wrinkled her forehead. "You're drooling and looking a bit kooky."

I snatched my head up, hurting my already sore neck more. "Um yeah, I'm great. Just feeling a bit... off."

"Don't blame you. You've been knocked out for like a week now."

A puff of air got caught in my esophagus. "A week?"

"We woke you up here and there to eat soup, but yeah, it's been about a week." Yaz hopped on the bed next to me and looked down at my band-aids. "Khan said your body needed lots of sleep to heal."

Feeling like I was lifting up fifty-pound dumbbells, I picked up my arm and glanced at thick medical tape. "My wounds must've been really bad."

When I was getting cut, it didn't really feel too bad. Almost pleasurable actually. But looking down at myself now, I must've been a mess when they found me.

"Bad isn't the word. Every single part of you was covered in blood." Yaz shook her head. "But Khan has that magic touch and cleaned you up real good. Thank god he's an ally." She paused. "Do you remember who did this to you?"

"Layla's killer."

"We thought that's who it was, but we weren't sure."

"I was getting a bag for Jookie's stupid mini-game, and they grabbed me."

"Who is it?" Her voice got really hype for a second.

"It was too dark to see anything, and they used a voice changer," I said with a shrug. "We were fighting, and they ran away like a fucking coward." Right when I wanted another bite too. Poo. "All I know is that they're thin."

"Shit that doesn't tell us much."

"No, it doesn't." My nails dug into my skin, wishing I could draw blood, but my fingers wouldn't cooperate, a weakness settling into my hand muscles. How could I let them get away like that? They were right there, and I just let them run away. Damn it. "How did you guys find me?"

"Well everyone was going fucking crazy looking for those bags. And the only people who actually made it to Jookie in time was me, Khan, Fee, Chi and Rucker."

"What?"

"Yeah, no one else showed, so Jookie spoke into his earpiece and then he got a weird look and just suddenly extended the time."

"Damn, I don't know where my bag—"

"We found it on the floor near your body," Yaz said, waving my words away. "Jookie and the producers said it counted, but you still got last place. Don't know what that means exactly."

It couldn't be fucking good. "So how did you find me?" And why couldn't you find me a little bit earlier say

when the killer was in my grasp and we could've quadruple teamed them? What good was a team who wasn't there when you needed them? Maybe Betinia was wrong about this team thing. I was probably better off alone.

"Once Jookie extended the time, he let everyone who was there hand in their bag, and he marked our order. And then he told us if we saw anybody who wasn't here to let them know they had another hour," Yaz said, wrinkling her forehead. "But then he suggested that we should all get some lunch."

I paused. "Lunch?"

"Weird, right?" Yaz pulled her hair into a bun. "I didn't want any lunch but Khan suddenly said he was hungry and offered to make food. And I never turn down free food, so we all went to the kitchen. I had to pull Rucker along kicking and screaming." She rolled her eyes. "He's such a giant baby cunt. But as we were walking, Rucker said he got a bad feeling and bolted ahead of us."

"He did?"

"Yeah. Khan and I followed behind for a minute and that's when Rucker yelled that he heard screaming," Yaz said. "Khan and I figured the screaming might've been coming from you since Rucker said he saw you walking around there earlier. But when we got there, the armoire in the pantry was destroyed and the cameramen were filming in the empty hole."

Of course they got everything on camera. Fuckers.

"And that's when we knew it had to be you since no one else knew about the secret place. That's when we all ran to the pool room and went through the other entrance and saw you lying in blood."

My mind swirled for a second at this knowledge, and I held back a dark chuckle. Jookie helped me. That lunch comment — he knew that I needed help. Why else would he suggest that? Of all times? I owed him one now. Ehhh, I hated owing favors.

And Khan, being as curious as he was, picked up on Jookie's sly comment and probably wanted to investigate. Why else would he suddenly be hungry?

"Besides your wounds, are you feeling better?" she asked, staring at me full-on now. "I know you locked yourself in your room—"

"Sorry about that. I just got in my feeling a bit." Lie. Betinia got into her feelings again, overacting yet again. "I felt bad for what happened with Rucker." That lie slipped off my tongue like a body going down a slip-in-slide. Betinia felt bad. I didn't.

I spent my whole life not trusting people. Why should I feel bad about doing it now? I didn't use Rucker. I was protecting myself.

"It wasn't your fault," Yaz said. "We all have fucking secrets and I don't blame you for keeping it from us. You didn't know us then. And Rucker should've understood. Would you do the same thing now?"

Yes. "No," I said, letting the lie slip through my teeth like it was nothing. Betinia trusted them. They had to earn mine. "Is Rucker still mad?"

"Nah," she said. "When he heard you screaming, he bolted and got to you first. He looked really heartbroken actually as he carried you to Khan's room."

I jerked back. "Seriously?" From all the harsh shit he said to Betinia, I figured he'd spit on me before crying over me.

Yaz smirked, humor dancing in her brown eyes. "Crazy, right? Doofus really is a big softie under all that anger and muscle." She nodded to the door. "He's keeping watch outside. He didn't want to come in. He blames himself for your attack."

"It wasn't his fault." It was Betinia's fault for forgetting she had a target on her back and not paying attention. I squeezed the blanket, fingers balling in the thick cotton. "I just wish I knew who it was."

"Well, it couldn't have been me, Khan, Rucker, Fee or Chi," Yaz said. "We were all in the common room when your attack was going on."

"So that leaves Gmie, Demo, Aries—"

"And Sebastian," Yaz finished.

"Sebastian?"

"He wasn't in the common room with us, but he did show up once we found you." Yaz shrugged and hesitated. "Of course, I don't think he did it, but I'm just telling you he wasn't there with us."

It's not Sebastian. I would know. I decided to sneak back in. It's not him. I would know if it was him. So? he likes us.

Sebastian's not like that. He's innocent because he's hiding a piece of himself away like you do. He's like us. I don't know — yes. No. Clear-thinking? You almost orgasmed after biting someone. Fine. But it's not Sebastian.

"It could be Gmie or Demo," Yaz said, bringing me from my thoughts. "Those hoes didn't come around until much later. Aries too." She paused. "Or maybe there's two killers."

"Two killers?"

"Yeah, I've been thinking how no one person matches up, but what if that's because it was two people."
