It's been a couple of weeks since I got back to Konoha and it's been a little strange for me. I'm still not use to making my own decisions and having my free will. Oka-san would sometimes find me in my room sitting there and waiting or I would always start making food at a certain time. I guess you can call me a maid considering I also clean the house too.

Oka-san gave me new clothes that I actually like and it's very comfy. I have a blue tank top and black pants. Nothing complicated just something plain and simple. Just how I like it. Today Oka-san kick me out of the house and now I am here with Choji beside me walking around. He had a day off and so we decided to hang around. I blush as I feel him walking closer to me. My heart beating quicker and quicker as my face grew hotter and my hands becoming sweaty. "Ma-"

"Yo Choji!" I hear him getting interrupted by none other than Naruto.

I hear Choji sigh as I giggle. "What Naruto?" He said looking at him and some other people I don't really know.

"We have an important mission right now and you're in the team." He said.

"But it's my day off. I was gonna spend all my day with Mabel." He said complaining.

It made me blush so much that a girl with pink hair started to giggle. "I'm sorry but it's very important." A strange pale boy said.

He stood next to Sakura and I won't lie he scares me a bit.

I could hear Choji sigh once again. "Fine." He said.

"Then let's go!" Naruto said excited.

As they were walking towards the Hokage's office I quickly grab hold onto Choji's hand. He looks at me and I blush once again. I look down at the ground and gather all my courage. "Choji, please be safe. I-I-I want you to come back to me." I said almost about to faint.

Choji grab my chin gently and made me look into his eyes. He made me feel safe and warm, he makes me feel like a regular person and someone who will never betray me. "I promise you I will come back alive. I can't leave you here alone. I-I love you Mabel." He said making me blush even harder if that's even possible.

I smiled widely as I caress his hand. "I-I love you too Choji." I said.

He bend down a little as he gave me a small kiss. I felt like I was on a cloud and nothing could destroy the happiness that I have but it soon ended. I open my eyes and stare directly into his beautiful eyes. "I'll meet you at the gate okay." I said

"I'll see you soon then." He said smiling at me.

He peck my cheeks as he ran off to the Hokage's tower. I went back home wanting to make a lunch or something for Choji's journey. I open the door and Oka-san stood in front of the door with her arms cross. "I-I can explain." I said quickly

"You have a minuet." She said

"Choji was called into a mission so I want to make him something before he leaves. I really want to do this so can you please let me back in the house so then I can make him a bento?" I said with pleading eyes.

She smiled at me and nodded. With that I quickly went into the kitchen already preparing what I should make him. One for recovery, one for speed, one for strength and the last for energy. Hopefully I can make everything quick. I'll pour my chakra, sweat, and love into this dish. "Mabel do you need any help?" Oka-san said.

"No thank you Oka-san. I can do this." I said.

I felt guilty as I saw her walk away a little sad. I know she just wanted to help but them she'll make regular food and not infused chakra. I know I'm being selfish but I want Choji to come back to me.

I walked out of the kitchen a little sad. I thought if I could help we can bond more considering she's gonna be my future daughter-in-law. Maybe she doesn't like me anymore...What if she starts to like that Nara kid! NO! My precious boy will suffer the lost of his lover to his best friend!

I sat on the couch thinking about it even more making me even more depress. "Tedsa? What's wrong?" I hear my husband scaring me a little.

I look up at him with teary eyes. I sigh. "I offer to help Mabel with the bento she's making for Choji but she refused. What if she doesn't like me anymore? What if she starts to like that Nara boy?" I said getting even more teary.

I hear a small chuckle from Choza. He sat next to me cuddling with me. "That's not true Tedsa. Maybe Mabel wants do to this alone to show Choji how much she loves him. Plus there's no way she loves Shikamaru in that way, I mean have you seen how she looks at Choji. She is head over heels with him." He said cheering me up.

"This is why I love you Choza!" I said kissing him.

"Hey Tedsa?" Choza asked

"Yeah?"

"How come there's Chakra in the kitchen?" He said with a puzzle face.

I suddenly felt it too. "Mabel!" I said rushing inside the kitchen.

Choza must have been behind me because when I stop he bumped into me. There I see Mabel hovering her hands over the food and a whitish bluish light hover over the food she made. Then when she moved her hand to a different dish it turn a different color. "C-Choza are you seeing what I'm seeing?" I whispered to my husband.

"Yes." I hear him say.

Mabel stop and packed the food into a bento box. "M-Mabel, w-what was that?" I asked

"M-Mabel, w-what was that?" I jump as I heard Oka-san's voice.

I look over and see both Tedsa and Choza staring at me with wide eyes. Oh no! Did they just see what I did? I guess I should tell them. "Was that the chakra infused food the Third Hokage was talking about?" Choza asked before I could explain.

I smiled a little. "Yes. Over the years I manage to get better and make food into perfection except it takes a lot of energy. I wanted to make one for Choji cause I was worry and I didn't want anything to happen to him." I finished.

"That's amazing! I thought you didn't like me anymore." Oka-san said.

My eyes widen is surprise. "Of course not!" They both smiled at my outburst. "Ever since you let me in your home and treated me like I was part of a family I love you all." I finished.

"Your gonna make me cry." Oka-san said giving me a hug.

I hug back but remember I had to meet up with Choji at the gates. "I have to go meet up with Choji so I'll be back in a little bit." I said grabbing the bento box.

"Okay be careful and don't come back too late." Choza said wrapping his arm around his wife again.

"If I don't come back before it's rather I've been kidnapped or I got lost." I said hearing them chuckle. I headed out of the door and ran to the gates.

I waved to people that I knew while running but I never once stop worry that he might leave early. I have met a lot of people since I came to this village.

It so strange for me that people are so nice here. I always thought everyone was mean and cruel like that Matron from the orphanage or like Orochimaru and Kabuto. I finally made it to the gate beating Choji and his teammates. I stared at the setting sun as I waited for Choji to meet me. "Mabel!" I hear Choji's voice from behind.

I see him and a couple of his team members walking with him. I smile as he gets closer making my heart beat pound faster hitting my chest making me think it might fall out. "Choji." I said meeting him halfway.

"We'll give you guys a minuet." the pink hair girl said.

"Thanks Sakura." Choji said to the pink hair girl.

"Here's a bento so you better eat it when you can but I prefer you eating it before a battle but I can't control that. Make sure to share if you can and please come back to me safely Choji." I said in on go looking him in his beautiful eyes.

I hear him chuckle making me pout a little. "I promise Mabel." He said grabbing my hand and laying it on his right cheek. I blush feeling his soft warm cheek. "And I promise when I come back we can go to a proper date." He said with red cheeks.

I gasp in surprised. "Just you and me?" I asked

He nodded. "Just you and me." He said confirming it.

My smile turn into a even bigger smile if that's even possible. I launch myself onto Choji giving him a big hug. "Thank you Choji, now you better come back to me in one piece." I said.

"I will"he said hugging back and chuckling.

"Choji we better go!" Sakura yelled.

"See you soon Mabel." He said kissing my cheek goodbye.

"See you soon Choji." I said letting his hand go.

I felt my heart ache as I see him running out of the gates and into a dangerous mission where anywhere you can be in danger. "Please keep him safe Gods" I said in a praying matter.

After his silhouette disappear night came quickly. I walk back home not really caring if it's dark. I'm use to the dark and it doesn't scare me anymore. Why should it? I spent most of my life lock away in a dark place where screams and cries were heard. It's sad but after years of hearing that you get use to it. It's sad to hear that come from yourself especially since I never wanted to be a shinobe. I'm halfway to my house as I see the beautiful star shinning brightly in the dark. Showing no matter how much darkness there is the light will shine brightly. If there was no dark there would be no light. "You know it's not safe to stay out late." I jump hearing a deep voice said.

I didn't realize I stop walking until......Sauske? "Sauske, what are you doing here?" I ask

He stares at me with his hard onyx eyes, almost entrancing me to just stare into his his and never looking away. His eyes suddenly soften a little. "I need your help." He said.

"With what?" I ask with curiosity.

"You can make me and my squad more powerful. I need you to help me avenge my clan." He said.

"Sauske you know how I feel about reve-"

"Who help you stay alive?" He said cutting me of.

I said nothing. I stood frozen staring at him never expecting him to pull this card.

"Who helped you stay alive?" He repeated.

"Y-You did." I said

"Who made sure you wouldn't freeze or starve to death?"

"You did." I said again without stuttering.

"Who manage to make you be alive instead of being disposed of?" He said

"You did." I said sounding like a robot.

"Who made you sure you escaped from Kabuto?" He said.

"You did." I said once more.

"Mabel......I see you as a little sister." He said making my eyes widen in shock. "Always there scolding me like a sister and making sure I was safe and feed. You made sure to keep me company even though I said I didn't want any. You made me feel like a human again." He finished.

Tears welled up in my eyes at his confession. "I did too." I said. "I always thought of you as a big brother but was too scared to even tell you." I said.

"Then come with me and avenge my clan." He said.

"Sauske I barely came back. I finally got my freedom back. I wanna help but I'm afraid of losing all of this." I said.

"How about this. What if I come back in a couple of months. Think it over. You don't have to be apart of this but if you wanna come I can say I just kidnapped you_"

"Sauske no." I said interrupting him. "If I wanna help you I'll go. Just let me have these couple of months with Choji and his family. I wanna help you. You are my big brother and I love you." I said.

Sauske eyes widen in surprise. He smiled warmly at me while I smile back with tears falling down my cheeks. "Come here Imouto." He said opening his arms for a hug.

I ran into his arms giving him a big hug. "Stay safe and don't do anything stupid." I said to him.

"I promise when this is all over I'll come back and Choji has to fight me for your hand in marriage." He said.

My face turn red so much I felt like I was burning. "Sauske!" I said in surprise.

He only laugh at my reaction making me smile as I hear him laugh again. "I see the way you look at each other." He said smiling at me.

"Come back safe to me okay?" I said.

"I will. I have to go now. Stay safe I hear Kabuto hasn't given up on you." He said kissing the top of my head.

"I will." I said and with that he was gone.

"Mabel?" I hear a familiar voice say behind me.

I turn around and see Shikamaru with a confused face. I quickly wipe away my tears and smile at him. " What are you doing out so late and why were you crying?" He said walking in front of me.

"I saw Choji off on a mission and I'm just worried that's all." I said lying to him.

"Come on I'll walk you home. Such a troublesome girl." He said patting my head.

"I better always be your troublesome girl so you better find a troublesome woman or else me and her are gonna fight a lot if we're both your troublesome girls." I said walking next to him to home.

He sigh in irritation while I laugh. "right, right, such a troublesome girl." He said smiling.

"That's right." I said with the biggest smile ever.
