《Malec one shot》The sick and dying (3)

Alec and Magnus were sat with their friends eating lunch in the cafeteria. Magnus was trying to subtly glance at Alec, trying to catch a few glances. Their friends were noticing but didn’t point it out since they knew that every time they suggested Alec and Magnus got together Alec got angry with them and Magnus looked so sad that you would think that he lost some one very dear to him.
Magnus continued to silently study his best friend’s features. The way how his jaw locked at he chewed on his food, the way how when he smiled the corner of his eyes would cringle, the way how he would unconsciously lick his lower lips. Magnus was enticed with his best friend’s beauty.
“Hey guys” said a familiar voice and the entire table turned towards the source of the voice. There behind Alec stood Camille. One of the cheerleaders of their school and someone they all knew liked Magnus. Even after Magnus kept ignoring her for month she still came after him every chance she got.
“hey magi” she said taking a step closer to Magnus and leaning down slightly to show off her overly exposed cleavage. Magnus tried to keep his eyes on his untouched tray of food but Camille wasn’t having any of that. She dragged her perfectly manicured fingers over his shoulder and sat between his and Alec facing the other way.
“My parents are gone for a business trip and won’t be back for a week. I have the house all to myself. And I’m feeling a bit lonely. You should come keep me company. You can spend the night” she said to him with a soft and seductive voice, purring the last part out.
“I can’t. I have plans” Magnus said simply
“You can come over after, I’ll wait for you all night” she said kissed his cheek and when he thought she was done she turned his face towards here and kissed his lips. After that she walked over to her own table with a grin on her face. Magnus wiped his mouth with his sleeves while all their friends snickered and cat called. Magnus got up on shacky legs.

“E-excuse me” he said and walked out of the cafeteria.
“Not cool guys” Alec said glaring at the rest of the table. He then got up and ran out of the cafeteria after Magnus. He found him leaning on his locker with his eyes closed. Alec walked down the empty hall and stood in front of him. After a few seconds Magnus’s eyes fluttered open.
“a-Alexander” Magnus started weakly. Alec stepped closer and pulled him into a hug. Magnus warped his arms around his best friend’s torso and just breathed in his natural scent.
“I can’t d-do it any m-more” Magnus stuttered out weakly. Alec tightened his hold but said nothing.
“Alexander…..p-please say something. It’s k-killing me” Magnus pleaded stepping out of Alec’s hold. Alec cupped his face with a soft smile playing on his own and brushed a single stay tear from his face.
“You’re so beautiful” Alec muttered gazing into his best friend’s green gold eyes. Magnus looked away from Alec letting there still holding hands fall.
“Shit... s-sorry” Alec stuttered rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.
“Its okay” Magnus replied a small smile playing on his lips. Alec sighed and leaned on the other side of the hall on the locker parallel to the one Magnus was leaning on.
“Have you ever felt close yet so far away from someone?” Alec asked looking at Magnus’s black dress shoes and smiling in amusement since he never really wore his.
“What do you mean?” Magnus asked looking at his best friend with confusion written all over his face.
“I mean…felling someone so close to you as if you could feel there body heat radiation off of them and yet when you reach out to graze their skin your hand just goes through them as if there smoke. Have you ever yearned to have someone as yours even if it was for a second and there right there the universe putting them in your life but there someone you could never have as your own? Have you ever felt like that?” Alec asked. Magnus looked away from him deep in thought. Alec had just described what he has been feeling since he realized he liked his best friend. He was so deep in thought that he hadn’t realized Alec was standing in front of him again till Alec cupped his cheek and made him look into his eyes.

“It kills me when I see her flirting with you…it kills me” Alec said softly and sighed
“But as your best friend I have to say this… if it’s her you want, I’ll support you. As your best friends I’ll be beside you no matter what” Alec whispered softly.
“But right now your single and this is fair game” Alec muttered almost to himself before he leaned lower and placed his lips softly on Magnus’s parted once. His kiss was soft slow and luxurious. Like he knew for sure that Magnus wouldn’t pull away or push him off and was patiently waiting for him to kiss back. And like Magnus’s lips were programmed to do so he started kissing back. He didn’t feel the same irk as when Camille kissed him. He felt like Alec’s lips were met for his. The gentleness of the kiss had him in a trance though he still wished for the bruising kisses the raven had first given him he wasn’t complaining one bit. They pulled apart even if their lips were still hungry for each other their lungs were straining for air. They stayed close together as they took in air.
Magnus’s body was heating up the coldness of the lockers on his back and the firmness and warmth of Alec’s body on his front was slowly driving him mad. But when he realized he was again kissing his best friend he felt bile rise and he pushed Alec away and ran down the hall to the nearest toilet. Alec was left standing there confused. He punched the locker in front of his in frustration and leaned on it tears gathering in his eyes. Magnus run into one of the stalls and emptied the contents of his stomach. He kept heaving even once he was done. He cried leaning on the toilet.
He felt disgusted with his self. The person he liked, his best friend kissed him and he had run off and vomited his guts out. He cried and cried and so did Alec. They knew that they had to strengthen them self’s if they were ever going to accomplish their resolutions.
