Su Nan's expression darkened while she lowered her head in silence.

"Your body is frail and you passed out due to exhaustion. Mu Yuchen talked to the police and they agreed to let you recover here. We'll deal with the other things later on. Don't worry about it. Ruan Heng is already in that condition and you definitely cannot crumble now. What would Xiao Chenxi do?" Xi Xiaye expressed her concern.

Su Nan took a deep breath and nodded. "I know. Thank you, Xiaye. I'm fine. It's really late now and there's a huge downpour outside. It must've been tiring for you to come over. I've thought things through during the time I spent inside. I still have to live on. Being weak right now doesn't help. Don't worry. It's time for me to stop being emotional, I know."

Xi Xiaye patted her hand. "It's great that you can have that attitude. It's not the end of the world. Rest up and continue to wait for Ruan Heng to wake up after dealing with your issue. If Gu Lingsha insists on giving us trouble, we'll pursue the legal path. I've told Mu Yuchen to get you the best lawyer, so you'll be fine. Don't worry about it."

"Mmm, I believe in you! I'll put myself in your hands! It's cold outside. Being pregnant doesn't help either. You shouldn't visit this place so often. It's filled with germs which are harmful to you. Su Nan shot Xi Xiaye a glance of gratitude, but at the same time, she was chasing her away, asking her to leave.

Xi Xiaye was really worried about her in the past few days. Her face obviously showed she was exhausted, and Su Nan felt bad for it.

Inside a suite ward, Gu Lingsha was having her sweet dreams when there was a loud noise when the door was flung open.

She instantly woke up shocked as she looked towards the door.

Two men in black suits were standing beside the door. Shocked, she quickly covered herself with a blanket and shuddered. She tried the suppress her fear and asked coldly, "Who are you guys? How dare you intrude my room?"

The two bodyguards ignored her. Soon after that, another person came in. Before Gu Lingsha could react, he was already right before her.

Ah Mo!

Gu Lingsha recognized him instantly! He had appeared as Xi Xiaye's bodyguard at Wang Qin's birthday banquet.

If Ah Mo was here causing a scene, was Mu Yuchen there?

Had Mu Yuchen returned?

Gu Lingsha's clenched her fists under the blanket, hiding the faint light in her eyes under her eyebrows as she looked at Ah Mo quietly.

Ah Mo was very close to Mu Lingtian before, so Gu Lingsha was no stranger to him. Especially after he became Mu Yuchen's assistant, Mu Yuchen sent him to deal with Gu Lingsha on many occasions.

To a certain extent, Ah Mo was very unhappy about Gu Lingsha.

"Long time no see, Ms. Gu! Master has put in a lot of effort trying to locate you all over the years. I didn't expect you to make an appearance on your own." Ah Mo walked closer and stopped at the end of the bed.

"It's you!" Gu Lingsha did her best to suppress her fear and put on a calm expression as she looked at Ah Mo with the help of the dim table lamp. "It seems like Mu Yuchen's returned, huh?"

"Aren't you basically asking for Master to meet you after you did all those things? Master has seen through all your tricks. I advise you to stop putting up an act."

Ah Mo did not have a good impression of Gu Lingsha at all. Lingtian would not have died if it was not for her, and Lingshi would not have turned out like this. He tried to be nice to her for Lingtian's sake, but ever since Lingtian's accident, he never had any positive thoughts about Gu Lingsha.

Gu Lingsha laughed when she heard Ah Mo. "I can see that you have quite a huge misunderstanding about me. I heard Mu Lingshi was disfigured. I thought you'd hate Mu Yuchen, but I didn't expect you to be so forgiving."

Ah Mo stared at Gu Lingshi like he was looking at an idiot. "Ms. Gu, your tricks might prove to be useful on Qi Lei, but if it weren't for you, Lingtian and Lingshi would've still been fine. Don't you think I should direct my hatred towards you instead?"

Gu Lingsha's expression was strained as she glanced at Ah Mo's cold face. After a while, she asked, "Did Mu Yuchen send you here?"

"If you already know, then please follow me. I'm sure you've longed to meet him. Master is angered due to your selfish and idiotic behavior, so I hope you can be smart for once. Master hates people threatening him like this," Ah Mo replied coldly.

Gu Lingsha smiled and leaned back, relaxed. "Oh? Really? What if I say I don't want to meet him at all?"

"That's not for you to decide!"

Ah Mo stopped trying to convince her. He signaled the bodyguards and the two swiftly went to the side of Gu Lingsha's bed. They forcefully pulled her out of the bed. Just as she was about to scream, Ah Mo interrupted, "Feel free to scream if you want the whole world to see what you look like now!"

Gu Lingsha stopped the moment she heard Ah Mo. She looked at him coldly and said, "Let me down. I can walk on my own!"

Ah Mo shot her a cold glance before signaling the bodyguards again. They then released Gu Lingsha.

"Please go ahead!" Ah Mo said coldly before heading forward.

Gu Lingsha's expression turned cold as she glanced at Ah Mo. While the two bodyguards behind her did not move, she went forward with a cold smile on her face.

She did not think they would be able to just take her out of the hospital like this!

As expected, after turning the corner at the end of the corridor, Ah Mo walked towards the elevator, but two black figures blocked his path. There were two massive bodyguards before him! They stood there between Ah Mo and the elevator.

"Where do you think you're taking Ms. Gu to?" asked one of the bodyguards coldly.

"Move!" ordered Ah Mo as his expression turned cold.

The two bodyguards traded glances at each other before stepping forward.

"Don't make me repeat myself for the third time! Move!" Ah Mo frowned as he threw a cold glance at the two people before him.

"I'm sorry. You guys can't take her away unless CEO Qi gives his permission!" the bodyguards replied.

"Really? What if I insist on taking her?" Ah Mo put on a cold grin as he looked at the two of them. They moved in closer and was determined to stop Ah Mo.

Ah Mo's eyes turned icy as he moved forward swiftly. He swung his arm terrifyingly fast. Before the two of them could react, Ah Mo already had his claws firmly locked onto their shoulders!

They felt an intense and sharp pain coming from their shoulders, and their faces turned pale. Just as they wanted to attack Ah Mo, he punched them first. They yelled and backed off slightly.

"Can we go now?" Ah Mo glanced at them. "Go back and tell CEO Qi that Chairman Mu wants to see her. He can come if he dares to."

The two bodyguards behind Gu Lingsha moved forward and secured her. As her face darkened, she could only follow Ah Mo.

The heavy rain continued pouring as they arrived at the entrance of the hospital. She only donned a jacket on top of her outfit, so she shuddered as the cold wind blew while the anger within her grew stronger.

However, Ah Mo and the others did not feel a thing. They pushed Gu Lingsha into the car the moment it arrived. He went in and they left.

Gu Lingsha stared at Ah Mo who was sitting in the front passenger seat as she asked, "Where are we going?"

"You'll understand once we reach there," Ah Mo replied coldly.

"Didn't you work for him all these years? What right do you have to treat me like this? If it wasn't for Mu Lingshi and you chasing together with so many other bodyguards, the tragedy wouldn't have happened. You're partly responsible for Lingtian's death as well!"

Gu Lingsha let out a bitter laugh. "How funny! Each and every one of you are murderers, yet you guys assume the position of victims and blame everything onto me. What have you done for Lingtian all these years after his death? He probably never expected his life to end at the hands of his brothers!"

Ah Mo's expression turned furious as his expression darkened. He did not say a thing.

"Mu Yuchen is a coward. He always acts all high and mighty, yet he was the main cause of this tragedy. He's the cruelest one of all."

Gu Lingsha's voice sounded bitter and her eyes teared up, but she forced herself to not let the tears fall. She took a deep breath. "You're not worthy of being Lingtian's brother, even more so Mu Yuchen's."

Gu Lingsha then turned and looked out of the car window.

Ah Mo closed his eyes and calmed down as he suppressed the pain and sorrow deep down within. He suddenly felt sad. He was sad for his Master.

Master had never complained about giving out so much. Was there any time that he would not let Lingtian and Lingshi get the good stuff first?

Master was extremely strict with himself, yet he was very generous with the people close to him. If Zhuang Shurong and Wang Hui had not insisted on him going back, Master thought about staying in the army. The huge Glory World Corporation might have been handed down to Lingtian instead.

Master had always said that the experience in the army life was invaluable. Only Su Chen and the few others understood that what Master really wanted was a simple life. He never had a relaxed day ever since he took over Glory World.

Mu Lingtian had always been a smart person since he was a child. He possessed talents and interest in business and was always involved with Glory World's business after he graduated from high school.

Mu Tangchuan and Zhuang Shurong thought of him as their own son. Sometimes, they treated him even better than their own son. Ah Mo could not imagine it. Could an outsider be more important than his own brother?

She even said that the Master was not worthy of being Mu Lingtian's brother!

Ah Mo's heart was in agony for his Master.

Along the way, Ah Mo remained silent no matter what Gu Lingsha said. He harbored a sudden disgust towards her all because this woman had sullied his Master's pure image.

Roughly forty minutes later, the car came to a stop on the road beside the river.

Ah Mo left the car and opened the door beside Gu Lingsha. As the cold wind and rain gushed in, Gu Lingsha's body shivered but Ah Mo did not seem to care.

"We're here. Get down!"

Gu Lingsha shuddered once again as she wrapped her coat tighter around her. She quickly went under Ah Mo's umbrella as he turned around and moved forward. "Master is in the sheltered booth ahead. Follow me!"

The lights by the river were very dim. Amidst the swaying wind and rain, the biting gale that whistled past was exceptionally chilly. Gu Lingsha pulled the coat around her tighter as she followed Ah Mo. They walked through the misty rain before they reached the booth very quickly.

At the staircase of the booth, a few black-suited bodyguards were standing there expressionlessly. She looked up and saw a dark figure standing by the guardrail, the hem of his windbreaker fluttering in the wind. His tall figure looked bleak and indifferent.

"Master, she's here." Ah Mo's deep voice was heard.

Mu Yuchen lifted a hand gently and nodded. Ah Mo knowingly waved the bodyguards aside.

Gu Lingsha looked up. Because she was cold, she was still shivering as she carefully protected her injured arm. She stared unmovingly at the stiff back. After a while, she slowly walked up the stairs. A complicated light flashed in her beautiful eyes, and her voice could not conceal the coldness in her voice. "It's you!"

"It's been a while." Mu Yuchen's lukewarm voice was heard unhurriedly.

"It has been a while! We haven't seen each other for five years, right?" Gu Lingsha walked a few steps to Mu Yuchen, then stopped and sneered. "It's been five years. I heard that you've been looking for me. Should I feel honored that you have been thinking of me?"

Mu Yuchen did not answer. He just stood frozen as he tapped the railings before him. Then, he looked down at the silver waves bobbing on the surface of the river while hostility gathered between his brows.

"Why aren't you saying anything? I don't think you told them to bring me here just for you to stand there!" Gu Lingsha's tone was a little aggressive, as she stared at Mu Yuchen.

He fell silent for a moment. Then, his deep voice suddenly came, but he did not turn to look at Gu Lingsha. "The past is between us. It's got nothing to do with anyone else. Don't drag others in. Su Nan didn't push you. You fell down the stairs yourself."

When Gu Lingsha heard his accusation, a cold smile flashed across her exquisitely beautiful face. "What? You just don't want me to go after Su Nan? Or does your heart hurt seeing Xi Xiaye all wan and sallow, and you can't bear it? How surprising that Mu Yuchen would have such a day too! I thought that you should at least be apologetic right now, or ask me about what happened years ago!"

Just as she wished, Mu Yuchen asked calmly, "Where's Qi Feng?"

Gu Lingsha sneered again with hatred in her beautiful eyes. "Gone! Like Lingtian, he's gone!"

"Is that so?" When Gu Lingsha said that, Mu Yuchen finally turned around slowly. His profound eyes looked exceptionally icy underneath the dim lights. Gu Lingsha could not help but be stunned at this sight. His noble and handsome face was apathetic as always. "All of this is your fault! Are you happy now?"

Mu Yuchen smiled with an indifferent expression. "So, this time you've come back for revenge? With Qi Qiming's help?"

"Huh, revenge? Do you know what you've done that makes me want revenge? Mu Yuchen, I've never met a more despicable and cruel person than you! The funny thing is, you don't seem to have reflected on those horrible things you did. I admit that I was wrong too, but you dare say that all you did was right? It was all caused by your indifference and cold-bloodedness!"

Gu Lingsha did not hide her pained expression. When she thought about Lingtian, Qi Feng, and her child that she was forced to give up on, she was torn with grief. The pain was suffocating.

"My fault? I was just agreeing to the Gu family's strong wishes, and fulfilling the promise of our marriage contract. Weren't you begging to join the Mu family then too?" Mu Yuchen smiled with disdain. Underneath the flickering lights, it made the cold smile on his face even more obvious. "I remember back then when you were with Qi Feng, I did let you two be together. It's not like I, Mu Yuchen, have to marry you. When I was still serving the army, I already told you two it very clearly."

As he said this, her expression stiffened slightly.

"I did give you two a chance, but you just didn't want it. You went away with Qi Feng while being my fiancèe. On account of the Mu and the Gu families' relationship, I could forgive you once, but you failed to appreciate my kindness. You had to ruin this relationship and put all the blame on me, so please ask yourself, is there anything as convenient as this?

"Since that is so, why did you agree to my father and were willing to stay, yet afterward you..."

Gu Lingsha's intense eyes fell onto Mu Yuchen. The rain made it chilly and her voice was broken by the cold wind, yet you could still hear the way she endured the struggle and pain from her tone.
