Before he could finish, Xiaye immediately refuted justifiably, "Well, you haven't told me you love me before either." Her eyes that were as bright as the stars met with his deep ones as she said calmly, "If you say it, then I'll say it. If you confess, then I'll confess."

Upon hearing this, a smile curved on his noble and handsome face. It was mesmerizingly elegant, and he chuckled. "You're becoming more and more arrogant from being spoiled now, Missus."

"All thanks to you," she responded very calmly, "Mr. Mu?"

"Mmm?" He raised his brows to look at her.

"Why don't you say those three words to me?"

Upon hearing her ask that, he just smiled and dotingly patted on her head. He suddenly sighed and abruptly pulled her into his wide and warm chest as he said softly, "I don't want to say it because I want you to feel it yourself. Your Mr. Mu is old, so he's shy of saying these things. When you can feel it one day, remember to tell me. I've always hoped for the moment that you can feel it, when you'd tell me that you feel the same."

His gentle voice was very warm and sentimental. Xi Xiaye was a mess in his embrace as she felt touched. She could not hold back from hugging him tightly, and her clear voice turned a little raspy. "I've long felt it, Mu Yuchen. I feel the same. When you weren't around, this would hurt a little whenever I missed you."
