《Debut or Die [fan translation]》Chapter 69

'Today has finally come.'
Park Moondae's first fan homepage master stared at her monitor while clenching her fingers.
Today, the first episode of the reality show was going to be aired.
There were still message records on Kakaotalk with her friend talking about how excited they were about the scenes in the trailer that was released a few days ago.
While suffering from a chronic lack of content, the video clips that were thrown were like drugs. She watched the cutely edited trailer so many times that almost memorized all the contents. And now she was finally about to watch the main episode!
'It's starting...!'
She rubbed her hands when the 'PG12 age restriction' sign appeared.
The video teaser that was running to record the number of views paused for a moment, and she stared at the screen in a dignified manner.
The program started by showing the moments of the ranking announcement in the final episode of and various media reactions.
There were meaningful captions.
And what happened immediately after...
It was the appearance of TeStar members who were very immersed in board games.
Just like people chattered on social media, TeStar members looked very happy. The fans were delighted to see how comfortable they looked after getting out of the audition show.
With humorous captions, the screen changed.
TeStar was caught entering the dormitory. The show's editing and the member's effort to look bright and cheerful shined through making them look like a bunch of puppies.
'What about Moondae?'
Park Moondae wasn't running around, but he was looking around the house with his eyes wide open. He was wearing a yellow hoodie that was seen on TeStar's first social media photo.
'He's even cuter moving around in the video...!'
While she was excited, the other viewers were also talking about the plain clothes.
And on the screen, TeStar members receiving a mission card from the robot vacuum cleaner was shown.
Since then, the members overreacting and becoming slightly depressed to each element that reminded them of was used as a fun gag element.
The viewers laughed but also sympathized. And then the roommate mission made people burst into laughter once again after seeing the members changing their attitudes because they were too immersed in the game.
And the fact that the most immersed person and the calmest person came in first and second place side by side also became a fun factor.

Park Moondae's calm appearance as if embarrassed by Cha Yujin's loud celebration reminded people of the team match between the two, making it a funnier contrast.
However, the reactions to the roommate mission's results slightly faded. Since there was a roommate combination that people haven't really thought of or wished for.
However, most of the reactions recovered at the scene of the boys preparing dinner.
This was because people found the shopping team, who ran excitedly through the mart and swept the items, and the cooking team, who calmly cooked jjimdak, to be cute. In particular, the parts where Park Moondae and Seon Ahyun showed their unexpected cooking skills.
As soon as the ingredients arrived, Park Moondae quickly divided the work and took the most demanding job for himself. This was purely because he couldn't trust the other members, but on screen, he looked quite reliable.
And Seon Ahyun who looks like he would be good at cooking messed it up mercilessly. He took care of his part while looking very embarrassed.
Park Moondae gave a new job to the depressed Seon Ahyun while looking at the onion in a gruesome state and the kitchen knife that almost cut Seon Ahyun's hand.
Seon Ahyun instantly brightened up with a bright effect on the screen. And of course, the fans were delightened.
The scene of them eating jjimdak as the first meal in the dormitory while smoothly conversing was also well-received since it was a typical look that fans expected from the reality show.
And the climax of the episode appeared. It was the horror movie group watching.
The popcorn from the supermarket flew through the air on the ghost's face that appeared on the TV screen.
Thanks to the production team who captured each member's reaction, the fans were able to happily build up the member's characters.
And Park Moondae's fans were all guessing about him before he appeared in the scene.
But when Moondae finally appeared on the screen...
He had his eyes down and was just eating popcorn.
And every time he heard a ghost, the popcorn bucket intermittently bounced.
Even so, Park Moondae did not turn his gaze towards the horror film.
The comments were flooding.
Fans were completely excited by Park Moondae's restlessness, since was always calm regardless of whether he stayed up all night for a week or won the final first place.

Park Moondae's fan page master, who was looking at the screen, couldn't hold back either and messaged her friend.
There were a lot of typos since she kept her eyes fixed on the screen while typing, but that's what she wanted to say anyway.
The first episode of the reality show ended with the horror movie part that brought joy to all the fans of each member.
"...Ah."
Come to think of it, an hour has already passed.
A trailer was shown after the mid-term advertisement in front of her dejected face.
A view of TeStar having a discussion in a music studio equipped with soundproof booths.
And...
It was the appearance of the members entering the conference room wearing neat clothes.
"Gasp."
There must be a lot of footage related to the album, too!
She already wanted to see the next episode.
She hurriedly turned on social media. She wanted to share this overflowing feeling.
There was not a single word that came into the timeline that did not resonate with her.
As she was about to press the write button with a happy smile, she saw an article on the newly updated timeline.
"Huh?"
The link was a portal site news address.
And the capture... it was the article.
"...!"
As soon as she read it, her chest ached as if she had been poured by cold water.
She swallowed and clicked on the article.
* * *
It was past midnight.
The atmosphere that broke out in the dormitory felt like ice.
"...Let's sort this out."
"..."
"So, Sejin's former agency... are asking for their artist back."
Ryu Chungwoo calmly arranged the situation.
I held back a sigh.
'Things are about to explode.'
In the first place, it was unreasonable of Tnet to push a contract that said that any participant who debuts through would belong to them.
It must have been a method that was created through the greed of having a group that was launched through an audition show for a long period of time.
'Even so, if possible can't you do it in a way that you pay twice as a dual affiliation?'
There's hardly anything in this industry that can't be taken.
Although they can't fight the broadcasting company, because the agency would have lost anyway, this season's went so well that it seems like in the end one thing still broke out.
'Perhaps... dissatisfaction must have already piled up from the time of the 'Casting Call' content, where the broadcast company offered the possibility of changing agencies at will.'
Besides, Lee Sejin could be used as an actor by himself, which made him even more valuable to the agency.
If not, they would want to at least receive the shares during TeStar's activities.
"..."
Lee Sejin did not respond even when the confrontation lasted for quite some time. He just sat on the sofa with his head bowed.
Keun Sejin smiled and urged him.
"Hyung-nim, please say something~"
At first, he tried to gently comfort him, but his tone gradually changed as he couldn't stand it any longer.
"Keun Sejin."
"We need to get this sorted out quickly. You know there's a week left until our debut date, right? We don't have time."
"..."
"If hyung doesn't sort out your position now, wouldn't it be possible that the other agencies will also litigate the same way?"
Keun Sejin still had a sad smile, but his words got faster and faster.
"If you stay still, it won't end with just hyung, but the other members also wouldn't be able to avoid it, right? Either way, hurry up and talk to your agency."
'He's also having a mental breakdown.'
Thinking about it, it was possible that Keun Sejin's agency could have also joined the lawsuit filed by Lee Sejin's agency.
He barely passed the audition and was on the verge of debuting, but just thinking about it, Keun Sejin's blood pressure seemed to spike up.
"..."
However, instead of opening his mouth, Lee Sejin jumped up and ran away.
"..."
"Hey."
Bang.
Then he went into the room and closed the door.
'...Are you kidding me?'
It's his issue, but how can he one-dimensionally escape like this?
At this point, I started to get annoyed, even though I didn't mind much at first. It hasn't been once or twice. What's with his behavior?
'...I would have to open the door to sleep tonight anyway.'
I went to the front of the room and struck the locked doorknob from above.
Clack.
As expected, the doorknob just opened. It was worthwhile to work out.
"...!"
"I'm coming in."
