Antonio's POV

Eliana had her friends over and with the looks of things, she has become much closer to Raevynn.

I was still cautious about Raevynn, but she constantly proved my judgements wrong, as for Kyle..? while I'm still accepting not after the whole drama with Aidan and Evelyn then so on!

I don't have anything to worry about since they are just kids, but I feel like time is going by so fast.

"baby dinner is ready" I said knocking at the game room only to find them all snoozing away.

I was in awe, I whipped out my phone and taken a photo.

then my daughter being the light sleeper she is woke up, "RaeRae Wake up!" she whispers, did I not mention that my daughter is awful at whispering?

Eventually her friends got up, "Daddy what's for dinner?" Ellie asks getting up from the cozy area.

"It's the classical cheeseburger and fries" I said, which they all got excited and raced out of the room following my daughter out.

I chuckled at their excitement, I scanned the room to make sure nothing was out of order before following them.

The girls were seated by the table as they finished piling their plates up with chips and more junk food.

It's only sleepovers that I allow such manners but as long as she's happy it was fine seeing her acting like a messy little munchkin.

"Kids the food isn't going to walk away" I chuckled as I grabbed my food.

My daughter insisted that I eat in the kitchen since she doesn't want me to embarrass her, which was so absurd! why would I do such a devious thing..?

"daddy you can go nowww" I heard my daughter say as I was standing accessing everyone's face while in a daze of thoughts.

"right you wouldn't want me to embarrass you" I went over to Ellie and placed a slobbery kiss upon her forehead which she wiped away with her face scrunched up.

"Daddy! You're embarrassing meee" she whines.

I chortled at her behaviour but me being the best daddy listened to her orders and left her to entertain the guests.

Ellie's PoV

I raced with my friends as we entered the dining hall that was assembled with cheese, burgers, buns, ketchup, mustard, chips, cookies, and anything that my daddy considers as junk food!

"El this is the best sleepover ever!" Kyle exclaims which I only giggled because Kyle is such a dope!!

"Yeah El I could live here y'know" Raevynn says as she plops down on a chair.

Then my father came and said that the food wasn't going to walk away as he was picking up his portion of the food.

I told him beforehand that I didn't want him to eat with us only because he could embarrass me!

so when I saw he was standing there longer than usual I got him out of his thoughts and he walked over to me planting a very wet kiss on my forehead!

This is exactly what I wanted to avoid but sadly I just saw Kyle snicker and Raevynn was watching longingly.

after that daddy just left to the kitchen.

"That was soooo cute" Kyle says in a baby voice.

I rolled my eyes, "KyKy you better watch your mouth" I playfully glared.

"I admire your relationship!" Raevynn chimes still in a longing daze.

"Why???" I questioned stuffing my face with cheeseburger.

"My father is busy and no matter what happens he never spends time with me!" Raevynn sighs.

I placed my burger down, "but we see him at school everyday so how come he doesn't interact with you?" I questioned genuinely perplexed.

"well my daddy says that it's not work professional and while he is working I shouldn't call him daddy" Raevynn explains with a sad sigh.

I never realized how much time I spend with my daddy, it seems no matter how busy or whatever time of day he always makes time for me! he never once told me to not call him daddy while he is working!

"Raevynn your daddy is a big meanie then!" I blurted only to have Kyle agreeing.

"Yeah that's why I was always mean to you! because I wanted what you had" Raevynn says.

I nodded understanding, "It's okay everyone has a past that makes them who they are today!" I grabbed a potato chip.

"El can I say something about your father?" Raevynn continues, "Yeah go ahead" I said.

"your father seems really loving to you, and when I first saw him I literally almost peed my pants because he gave me the most coldest shoulder ever!" Raevynn explains.

"he does that to everyone!" I said reassuring her.

"El I just want to apologize for all the mean words, and actions I did to you" she says.

by then I felt my heart flutter, I always wanted to be Raevynn's friend and now she is apologizing to me!

That's terrific, "it's okay!" I said then I saw Kyle who just barged his way into the potato chip bags.

"don't mind me, since you all are doing perfectly not including me" he says with a slight pout.

Both me and Raevynn giggled, "sorry kyky" I said giving him a sympathetic pat on the shoulder.

"well all I can is, my life is normal I mean loving parents, annoying siblings, and bestest of friends" Kyle says looking at each one of us.

I smiled, "Did you consider us your best of best friends???" I asked leaning into his face.

"yes! you two are and will forever be my best of best friends" Kyle says.

"okay dude" Raevynn just laughs separating us two.

Daddy came to say goodnight to us all, and he tucked me in then left my room.

Kyle was sleeping on a bed that slides out from the bed Raevynn is sleeping on.

Daddy had his workers to bring in the bed that has a hidden bed! Which is pretty cool.

of course we didn't exactly fall asleep we just talked, like about our future, what we are gonna do, and whose our friends or not.

We all shared the same hate for Evelyn and Aidan, even RAEVYNN.

I didn't think Raevynn would hate Evelyn but she explained that Evelyn has become a little bossy.

"guys after we graduate high school we all should throw a big party and invite the entire grade it'll be so memorable!" I exclaimed as I was laying on my bed, I was laying on my side as I looked over at a Raevynn and Kyle.

"yes that would be so fun, then we could sneak out to high school parties" Kyle says.

"High school parties?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's what my sister does, she always sneaks out to them" Kyle says.

"I'm not sure if my daddy would allow that" Raevynn interjects.

"of course he's the flipping Principal" Kyle says with a duh expression.

"Raevynn what about your mother?" I asked.

"well she's not really in the picture I mean I see her every summer but she has her own life with her fiancé" Raevynn says.

"Oh...so why doesn't Principal Favre spend time with you?" I asked.

"His excuse is 'I'm busy' and I'm pretty sure no one is busy on a national holiday" Raevynn says air quoting the 'I'm busy'

"RaeRae do you think your father is seeing someone?" I asked, yes sounds a bit mature for me to ask but I've seen my daddy hanging with Jenna but speaking of her I HAVE NOT seen her in like literally almost a year!

"what do you mean?" she asks.

"like is he making that excuse cause he's busy seeing a woman" I narrowed down.

"if he is, wouldn't he tell me?" she suggests.

"not really, y'know adult talks" I rolled on my back to stare at the ceiling.

"Adult talks? My sister says it's mainly because we are young and naive" Kyle says seeing as it was quiet between me and Raevynn.

"maybe I don't know, my daddy never tells me anything that he fits as 'adult talks'" I explained.

Our talks we muffled as we began to fall asleep.

Antonio's POV

I said goodnight to Ellie's friends as I went to give her a kiss on the forehead as she laid tucked under her covers.

After closing the door, I made it back my home office, abruptly my phone rung.

"Antonio Smith." I responded coldly.

"Antonio" a female's voice say, I was trying to pin on who it was was.

"Antonio I wanted to congratulate you on your new building in Phoenix" the female voice continues.

"who are you" I asked bluntly not bothering with a 'thank you'

"I am Shannon Bowser" the female responds.

Shannon? why the hell is she calling at this hour.

"Shannon?" I said more like a question, I haven't heard or seen her in like 5 years.

"I wanted to tell you that, I am over you, and I'm happy for your daughter." Shannon says.

"You know of my daughter?" I questioned.

"yes, as much as you like to have a private life you can't. I wanted to let you know that, you have to protect her." Shannon says before the line went dead.

I stared at my phone as the call ended.

Is this truly the Shannon I know? she always wanted me to get in her panties.

I placed my phone on my desk as I sat down on my chair.

I leaned into my chair as my eyes scanned my desk then it landed on the gold envelope with a rose sticker.

I pulled my chair in and picked the envelope.

I internally groaned, I guess I might as well go since I went to her wedding.

For some reason I felt a flash of hurt, I'm not sure how we became so distant but at least she still tries to have me in her life?

"Tony my brother wouldn't allow it" Isabella says as we sat on the swing set. "Izzy he wouldn't know! and besides it can be our secret" I tried to convince, "Whatever but you know Ryder he doesn't want me to be in harms way" Isabella says.

"Izzy it's not harmful it's just a carnival festival!" I exclaimed.

"Tony then why can't Ryder accompany us?" she presses as she hopped off the swing, "we seriously don't need a babysitter" I laughed.

"alright alright, let's gooo" she says dragging my hand now.

I chuckled thinking back on the memory, 16 years ago.

Funny how time has its way of creeping up on us, I was still guilty even though it's been years, I've pushed our friendship down the drain.

"Ryder I'm sorry! please I didn't mean any of it." I said with tears streaming down my eyes, "Tony I can't believe it, why would you just tell her that? I know you don't like her but my sister has her eyes for you." Ryder spat.

"It's just- she made me ticked off" I said trying to defend myself.

"Tony just stop, I don't want boys like you around my baby sister" Ryder bluntly says then turns away from me pulling Isabella with him.

We were just foolish teenagers right? Nothing bad really happened, I just told her my honest feelings and she couldn't accept the reality I had no feels for her... so why the fuck am I feeling terrible?

"Izzy, look at Me" I said lifting her chin as I brushed the tears brimming around her eyes, "I love you as a best friend, I don't know if I can see myself being with you" I said, I saw Izzy averting my gaze, "Tony I had a crush on you since 3rd grade and I was able to tell my feelings but once I heard Jenna talk about you asking her out for prom I felt I had to step up" Izzy explains with tears flowing down her cheek. "Izzy, I don't want you be hurt by me." I said as I pulled her in for a hug, "How? you rejected me that hurts me" she says muffed through my chest. "I don't want a one sided relationship, I don't want you to devote your time, energy, and love for a person who cannot return those back to you." I explained.

"Tony but I can't see a future without us!" she says releasing herself from me. I was on a ticking bomb, I let her down slowly but why is she being so stubborn? "Isabella Blade, Stop being so stubborn, cant you see I'm trying to save OUR friendship, but no you clearly can't see that." I harshly said as I shoved away from her.

I pressed on the envelope, I got up and placed it on the top drawer of my file cabinet.

Ellie's PoV

It was the next morning, I got off my bed and walked over to Raevynn.

I poked her cheek, "wake up" I said.

"mmh let me sleep" she says turning having her back face me.

I looked down and Kyle was asleep too..

An evil idea came to my head, I went into my en-suite bathroom, I stood on the step stool I picked up the 2 plastic cup and filled it up with water.

I walked back to the room and without any warning I splashed Raevynn and a Kyle.

They both snapped their eyes opened screaming.

"What!? WHO DID THAT" Kyle says wiping the water from his face.

"Hahahahah" I was rolling on the floor laughing.

"EL YOU WILL PAY" Raevynn threatens.

Uh oh.

I quickly got up and ran out of my room then I bumped into my father.

"Daddy! Hide me!" I said grabbing the hem of his pants.

He seemed amused, "baby what happened?" he asks picking me up.

Before I could reply, Kyle and Raerae raced to me.

"bloody El drenched me" Kyle responds holding the empty cup that once contained water.

I was giggling so I hid my face in father's neck.

"now children, let's play fairly" My father says calmly.

"I was having a peaceful sleep" Raevynn says crossing her arm staring playful daggers into my head.

"breakfast is ready" daddy says setting me down on the floor.

Which was a bad idea for him.

Raevynn made a leap to me which I ran passing my father's waist as I raced into daddy's bedroom.

It was safest no one really comes in here.

"Not fair!! El" Raevynn whines as she stopped at the threshold.

"We forgive you now come out" Kyle says huffing from running.

I shook my head with a big grin on my face still, "I'm starving" Raevynn says then turns to make her way towards the staircase.

I stepped out daddy's room and I rushed to the downstairs along with Kyle hot on my tail.

I am unsure when daddy came down here but he was elegantly sitting at the counter with a coffee in his hand as he was reading over some paper.

Once we came in view to the kitchen table we saw French Toast, Pancakes, eggs, bacons, any sort of FOOD!

My friends forgot about my ambush on their awakening because we were piling our plates with goodies.

"guys let's play make believe!" I said while taking a bite of the precut up pieces of French toast.

"Okay sure, like dragons and warlocks?" Kyle suggests.

I shook my head, "No let's play Superheroes! I be Super Girl" I replied.

"cool! I always always wanted to be like Wonder Woman" Raevynn says digging into her breakfast.

"nice, I'll be Superman!" Kyle says.

Only to receive a smack on the arm from me, "no that'll make you my cousin" I said getting up from the kitchen table and walked over to my father so he could cut the pieces of sausage.

"hmm okay, I will be the Flash!" Kyle says then racing around the kitchen pretending to be really really fast.

"Thanks Daddy" I said making my way back to the kitchen table.

"Raeraeeeee control Kykyyyy" I said taking in the sausage.

It was around 10:20 and my friends had to leave at noon, which is sad :(

Kyle was the villain in our little make believe game, I was chasing Kyle and Raevynn hot on my tail.

Wonder Woman was chasing Supergirl as I was chasing Flash, ironic right?

"Flash I hereby sentence you to death!" I said using my pretend laser eyes.

it was fun running around the entire ground floor.

My father found our childplay to be very amusing so he just sat at the living room on his laptop but I secretly knew he was watching us.

"I will be the hero!" Raevynn says as she tackles me to the ground, "Ahh the kryptonite!" I said pretending to be in pain.

Raevynn and Kyle gathered their stuff up.

I was following them then we made it downstairs.

I saw Principal Favre, "Raerae your dad's picking you up?" I wondered out loud.

My daddy was speaking with the principal and then soon Kyle's father came.

He looked like a older version of Kyle just slightly grayish.

My daddy looks like a child among the adults!

"I didn't know either" Raevynn says rolling the suitcase to Mr. Favre

"Thank you for having us" Kyle's dad who I didn't know the name to.

"It was no problem, your son was very tolerable" daddy says.

"okay bye bye Ky Ky" I said giving him a hug only to see daddy slightly clenched his jaw.

"byeee El!" Kyle says giving me a pat then he walked over to his father.

The two soon walked out the door leaving Mr. Favre and my other best friend.

Then I looked to Raevynn.

"Thanks for having me, El it was nice" she says a bit awkwardly now that her father was present.

"Mr. Smith, I hope my daughter wasn't of trouble?" Mr. Favre says but more of a question.

Daddy was going to respond but I walked up to daddy's side.

"Raerae is the best of best friends!" I exclaimed and I saw daddy smile proudly at me.

"Ah, I see that's good" he says before looking to daddy for any reassurance to my words.

"Yes, Raevynn was not of any trouble" daddy using his business like tone.

"That's terrific, well we best be going" he says as I saw Raevynn following her father out.

then my daddy turned to me.

"Baby we have a party to get to, do you need help choosing an outfit?" Daddy asks.

It was like having a person out of nowhere shoot you with a water gun.

"A party?" I was confused.

"Yes baby, it's a old friend of mine" he explains.

"okay daddy, but is it formal?" I asked.

I seriously hated formal gatherings, the bratty adult people either pinch my cheek or they give me some nasty looks usually the women gives it to me.

"no princess, it's a baby shower" he says.

"okay so I can just wear casual clothes?" I asked.

"Baby wouldn't you like to look presentable?" He persuades.

I pouted, "Daddy are you saying I'm not presentable?" I crossed my arms.

Then I felt Daddy snake his arms onto my waist, making me face his chest.

"no baby, do you want to twin with daddy?" He asks as I felt him place a kiss on my head.

Dress and match the same as daddy...

"Okay" I said then daddy released me.
