Mirabel:" abuela when's Dolores coming back?"

Abuela:" she just left Mirabel be patient"

Pari:" kinda hard to be patient when your cousin is going on a date.....again"

Isabela:" I agree with pari Abuela, dates are everything" she says while watering the plants.

Abuela rolls her eyes while smiling then walks out the kitchen.

Mirabel:" imagine how happy Dolores must be, I mean going on a date with someone she truly cares about"

Pari:" you wanna go spy on them don't you"

Mirabel:" so bad yes"

Isabela:" we promised mama and Abuela we would stay out until she got back, so no going anywhere"

Mirabel:" come on Isa don't you wanna see what's happening with your cousin and the man you were gonna merry?"

Pari:" woahh!"

Isabela:" yeah woah"

Mirabel:" sorry"

Pari;" I'm sure we can Wait a couple more minutes"

Just then lusia and Bruno walks in holding dishes and wine glasses. Luisa:" hey pari think you could help?" Pari freezes the plate in Luisa hands and Luisa thanks her.

Pari:" why do you need me to freeze things again?"

Luisa:" Cecilia's birthday party is tonight and she wants an ice themed party, your the only one I know who can help"

Pari:" oh well in that case" she freezes all the rest of the plates and bottles.

Bruno:" think you could freeze this to?" He lifts up a wood Sculpture of Cecilia. Pari takes it in her hands and it starts freezing.

Mirabel:" I never understood how you did that. I mean you get hugs daily and you never freeze anybody"

Pari:" it's called controlling Flores. When I first got my magic I was so happy, mama and Abuela taught we how to use it everyday in the woods. Once I got used to it and got older it grew stronger to where I could do more things than ice balls, I started freezing things and making it snow everywhere I went, that's just how happy I was to use it. When I turned 13 Abuela told me it was time to start controlling things. Then you came along Mirabel and I got scared....so I stoped using them at all." Looking down at the Sculpture to see it completely frozen she gave it back to bruno.

Bruno:" of course until now, I mean you use them all the time"

Isabela:" having magic for so long you get used to it and forget your using it Becuase it's an everyday thing"

Luisa brings in Fillmore things for pari to freeze, Isabela decorates a few things as well while Mirabel is sitting on the counter still thinking about what pari said.

Just then they all hear casita open the door then close as Dolores walks into the kitchen with a big smile.

Mirabel:" how did it go?"

Isabela:" was it romantic?"

Bruno:" did you like it?"

Pari:" did you two kiss?"

Dolores:" woah, woah, first it went amazing Mirabel thanks for asking, yes it was romantic Isabela yes bruno I liked it very much and no pari we did not kiss. It was only the first date"

All:" first date!"

Pari:" you mean to tell me this whole time it was a first date?" Dolores smiles then sits on the counter.

Isabela:" the way you talk about him Dolores you made it seem like you've been on more than one"

Dolores:" he's just so dreamy and romantic and dreamy" she said.

Pari:" ew" she goes back to freezing things.

Mirabel:" what about you pari, you seen anyone?"

Pari:" no and I'm not gonna"

Dolores:" why not?"

Pari:" because I don't need one, I'm happy here plus relationships are so complicated and I don't have time for complication."

Luisa:" I agree"

Pari:" thank you lu"

Bruno:" yeah I never understood relationships either" he flicks a rock out the window but casita closes it causing it to go back and hit him in the face.

Luisa:" listen you guys should come to the party tonight, it would mean a lot to Cecilia, Especially if your there" she points to pari.

Pari:" of course I'm going this is the only real excuse to make ice things" she squeals.

Isabela:" I'll go decorate the banners" she walks out the kitchen and Luisa follows her with Dolores on her tail.

Bruno:" I'm gonna go help" he walks out.

Mirabel:" now it's just you...and me.........sooo"

Pari:" what is it?"

Mirabel:"(sighs) why did you stop using your magic when I got here?"

Pari:"(sighs)......I was scared..When you came into this world I was so happy and being happy sparked up my magic and I was constantly freezing everything I touched. I didn't want to hurt you or hurt anybody really so I just stoped using them until you became a teenager."

Mirabel:"is that why you kept telling me ice monsters were after you" pari laughs as she nods her head.

Pari:" little you believed me but 13 year old you didn't" they both laughed.

Pari:" I love your gift"

Mirabel:" what do you mean I didn't get a door" Pari takes her hand in hers.

Pari:" even if you didn't get a door you still got one of the most important gift of all....you make people happy, and when there feeling down you make them confident." Pari places her hand on mirabels chest where her heart is.pari:" you use this and that's what makes you special"

Mirabel brings pari into hug as she holds on tight not wanting to let go not even for a minute.

Pari:" now come on we gotta get ready for a birthday party"

Mirabel:" yeah that we do"

Pari:" woah they really out done themselves this year"

Isabela:" when Luisa said a ice themed party I didn't think she meant this!" The whole house was covered in snow with Icicles hanging underneath the roof top.

Mirabel:" it'll be fine trust me" pushing them both into the house isabela shivers as pari looks around.

Cecilia:" pari!" She runs up to pari hugging her leg as pari smiles and bends down to hug her back.

Pari:" happy birthday Cecilia"

Isabela:" it's so cold in here"

Cecilia:" oh sorry about that" she brings over a few blankets for them to use. Cecilia:" that should work. Isabela grabs it and immediately wraps herself in it then sighs in comfort.

Cecilia:"come on, come on," she drags pari over to her group of friends who look in shock.

Cecilia:" see I told you she would come"

Pari:" what can I make for you Cecilia?" She thinks about it for a minute before she whispers it into Otis ear.

Pari:" oh....ok that's......new" she stands up then walks to an empty space with the kids behind her, using her magic she makes a ice fountain with pictures of Cecilias happiest moments in the frozen ice.

Cecilia:" you actually did it thank you so much" hugging her Cecilia let's go then goes up to the fountain with her friends no far behind.

Mirabel grabs ahold of pari then takes her over to Bruno and Isabela.

Pari:" hey what's up?"

Bruno:" oh nothing"

Pari:" what is it"

Isabela:" look what we found" isabela lifts up a frozen teddy bear that pari had when she was little.

Pari takes it gently from Isabela then hugs it. Pari:" oh my gosh you found it, but where?"

Mirabel:" when mama and casita was cleaning up your room she found in your closet of frozen things"

Dolores:" what's the closet of frozen things?"

Camilo:" yeah I wanna know"

Pari:" the closet of frozen things is things I made when I was little but never wanted"

Camilo:"..............I don't get it"

Pari:" if. I. made. something. I. did. not. want. I. put. it. in. the. frozen. closet."

Camilo:" still don't get it" he shape shifts into Cecilia then runs over to her.

Luisa:" what else did mama find in there?"

Mirabel:" she couldn't really tell, everything was stuck together"

Bruno signs getting there attention

Isabela:" what's wrong tio Bruno?"

Bruno:" nothing it's just, well everyone is growing up and I had to watch behind walls the whole entire time"

Mirabel:" your here now, that's what counts"

Pari:" there still little and so am I, you'll be there when Mirabel gets asked out or when she discovers butterfly's. You'll also be there for our birthdays"

Bruno:" yeah I guess your right...pari being 19 an-"

Pari:" 20" she corrects him.

Bruno:" wait what?"

Pari:" I'm 20, I turned 20 a couple weeks ago" she laughs

Bruno:" really? Wow must've been fun"

Pari laughs even more.Pari:" Bruno you were there to"

Everyone laughs then continues to talk about things they did when they were little.

After the party ended the Madrigals made there way home so they could get some sleep.

Mirabel walks into the living room upstairs to see julieta sitting down while looking at a family picture.

Mirabel:" hey mama"

Julieta:" oh hi Flores, what are you doing still up?"

Mirabel:" I was just about to get some sleep until I saw you actually. What's going on are you ok?"

Julieta:" im fine. Just looking at these pictures makes it seem like it was just yesterday, pari has grown up into a beautiful independent girl, Luisa has grown up into a strong caring girl, Isabela grew up into a wild strong girl, and you...you grew up to be the person who holds the family together" julieta caresses mirabels cheek.

Mirabel:" I love you mama"

Julieta:" I love you to Flores"

Julieta:" no go, go to bed we have a big day tomorrow"

Mirabel:" goodnight mama"
