《{ enchanted forest }》8 { into the deep }

Emma takes a picture of Henry from the inside pocket of her jacket and shows it to Aurora. "The boy you saw in your dream- is that him?" The princess takes a good look at it and nods her head slightly. "Yes, that's Henry." "That's impossible," the blonde whispers as Snow walks off.
"It was a dream. How could you dream of my son?" Emma was so confused and also disturbed. Aurora had never seen Henry before, only knew his name because she and Mary Margaret mentioned him sometimes, and yet she dreams of him? "I have no idea," the princess says in her defense.
"Maybe it wasn't a dream," Snow says, her arms crossed as wrinkles form on her face from thinking so much. "What?" Emma exclaims and she stands up, followed by Aurora. "That room- I've been there," the black haired woman admits. Aurora snarls. "When I told you about it, you didn't say anything."
"You were terrified. I didn't want to make things worse by telling you I thought it might be real," Snow defends herself. Snow connects the dots between the Sleeping Curse and the room on fire. It must be that people who are in the Sleeping Curse or have been through it go there. Mary Margaret comments that they can communicate to their world and find help in Rumplestiltskin, through Henry. Emma tells the princess to go back to sleep, which Aurora did reluctantly.
And so she was back in the room on fire. She coughs because of the smoke and calls out his name. Aurora was about to give up when she didn't see him, but then she heard his voice. "Hello?" The flames move in such a way they can see each other now. "Hello!" "Henry! Henry, it is you!"
"Yeah! Who are you?" He asks. The two were so engaged in their conversation that they didn't notice movement in one of the corners of the room. A weakened figure was trying to stand up and leans heavily against the wall. The shadow before her hisses to sit back down again, but she waves its advice off. Her eyes, the colour of quicksilver, lay down on the two as she recognizes one of the two.
"My name is Aurora. I'm with your mom and your grandmother," the princess explains. "Are they okay," Henry asks, worried about his family's wellbeing. "Yes, they're fine. They just want to come home, and they need your help." Flames rise up between them and Henry shields himself with one arm. "Okay, so what do I need to do?"
"Find a man called Rumplestiltskin. He may know a way back for us. You have to ask," she screams over the bellowing flames. The boy nods his head. "I will, don't worry."
The figure in the corner stumbles forward, into the light of the flames. The two notice the person coming closer and both of them were shocked once they realised who she was. One because he loved her, the other because she has heard so much about the girl from her brother.
"I want to help," Winter says.
And Henry was ripped away from this dream world and yells loudly that his family was alive. That Emma, Mary Margaret and Winter are okay.
Granny's diner was busy with the lunch guests. Two of them were Belle and Rumple, trying out that hamburger that Belle wanted to have. Not that Mr Gold was really feeling welcome in there, but he just wanted to enjoy a nice time with his true love. He didn't have much to enjoy in the last couple of weeks, really. The Evil Queen enters the diner and walks up to their booth.

Granny asks everyone to leave, but Regina promises that they are civil. Mr Gold was rather unpleasant against her as he was not in the mood to have this moment ruined by the wicked woman. But then.. she mentions Cora and he was suddenly more eager to help her.
They bring Henry to Mr Gold's shop and lay him down for his scheduled meeting with Aurora. Regina lays a blanket over his body from their home. After he reassures the adults for a last time, he was ready to go to sleep. Rumplestiltskin tells him in a soothing voice about the ink of a very special squid, which was in his jail cell where Charming and Snow White locked him up. They needed to find that. Henry nods that he understood and went to sleep.
The flames seemed wilder than before. Henry looks to his left and sees Winter, her back rested against the wall as she pants. Then Aurora appeared in the flames and began coughing from the smoke inhalation. "Henry! Henry, can you help us?" "Yes, I know what you have to do to stop Cora! You have to go to-" The flames were wild, making noises so loud that she couldn't hear him say: "Rumplestiltskin's cell". She asks him again while trying to shield herself from burning. Winter walks through the flames, her arms crossed before her face.
"Where do they have to go? What did Rumple say," she yells. Henry repeats again, but they still couldn't hear him. A voice called out to Aurora, but no one else could hear it. It was her name, often repeating. She looks around herself, asking if they could hear it. They just repeated the answer over and over, but she couldn't hear it. Then, a tornado took her away from the flaming room.
"Henry, where is she," Winter asks. Henry shakes his head. "I don't know." He hisses when a flame scorches his wrist. The princess walks towards him and grabs his wrist. "Are you okay?" The boy flinches when her fingers brush his earlier burn marks. She quickly retreats her hand. "I am, but I need to go to stay that way."
Winter nods. "Please- Please tell Rumple and Belle that I love them and that I'm alright." Henry frowns when he notices that she didn't have a single burn on her skin. "B-but how?" "His shadow protects me, I'm fine! Just go before you hurt yourself even more." Henry wants to object, wanting to know what that shadow was, but she yells "Go!" and he was ripped from the dream world.
As the awakened bodies of the safe haven attack Emma, Snow, Mulan and Aurora and the latter was taken by them, Henry wakes up with a gasp. David asks if he was alright and Gold asks if he delivered the message succesfully. "No. I-I didn't get the chance. Something- Something happened. She-she got sucked out of there. I do have a message to tell you, Mr Gold," Henry says, his head turning on the pillow to look at the older man.
"What is it," the pawnbroker asks. "That-.. that Winter's okay. She wanted me to tell you and Belle that she loves you and you shouldn't worry. A-A shadow protects her, she said," Henry says, still a bit in shock over the events of the dream world. Mr Gold's eyes widen. "A shadow, you say?"
He slowly stands up and walks towards a wardrobe. The man opens the wooden doors and looks around. "What are you looking for that is so important at this moment," Regina asks with a roll of her eyes. Rumplestiltskin ignores her and continues his search. He opens a cardboard box and takes a little cobalt blue box with golden accents out of it, the size of a ring box.

Rumple removes the lid and what he feared the most came true. "Her ring is gone.." "What? Whose ring," David asks, staring up at Gold from the bedside. The Dark One closes the box and stands still for a moment. Then, he throws it against the wall in rage. The delicate box smashes in tiny, little pieces. "And of course that smug bastard grabs this opportunity to come close to her! I should've killed him when I got the chance," he seethes.
"What the hell're you talking about," the queen asks. Rumple ignores her once again to mutter a string of cusswords which even a pirate can not produce and Henry groans out in pain. "Some-something's wrong," he says with a pained voice while Regina rolls up his sleeve. The skin was red and blistered. At least second degree burns. "Henry," the woman mutters in worry.
Gold sits down by his side and asks them to let him handle this. With one hand he magics the burn away. Regina asks how this was possible and the Dark One explains that something tore Aurora's soul away before she was ready to leave, which injured Henry. But now Aurora was no longer there, they could not send messages anymore through Henry. Not that Regina and David would send him there ever again. After a long silence of who else could be a messenger on their side, David realises something. Snow.. his wife had been under such a curse too. Maybe she was able to go back to the room and he could meet her there.
Mr Gold comments skeptically that he would not be able to just 'travel' there, because he was never under a Sleeping Curse. David responds that he would just have to put him in one then.
In the Enchanted Forest, Aurora was unconscious because of Cora, who slammed her into the wall when she was being rebellious. Someone was shaking her body, calling for her to wake up. When she was slightly awake he pulls her onto her feet. As Aurora panics, he slams his hook against her chain and opens the lock. Aurora was wary, but with the pirate's usual sarcasm he tells her he was setting her free. He explains that he did it because Cors broke their deal.
"Thank you," Aurora says when he steps aside to grant her passage to her escape. She was about to walk away when Hook grabs her arm. "You can thank me by doing me one favor. Actually, make that two." "What," the princess asks. "For one, give Emma a message. Tell her that the deal still stands. If she provides me passage back to her realm, I swear, I will help her find that dust that opens the portal."
"You really want to assist us," Aurora asks. "It hurts Cora and helps me. Of course I do. Now go." He nods for her to walk away and the princess was about to, when she turns around. "I have two questions." The captain rolls his eyes and groans. "Of course you do."
"When we bound you to that tree, you talked about a girl. Brown hair. You took her, you said. Who was she?" The captain sighs. "Is it really necessary to ask these questions while your freedom is so close by?" "Who knows when I'm going to see you next? I want to know her name," the princess continues stubbornly.
Hook sighs again. "Her name was Winter. She was the daughter of some laundry woman. Nothing special." "Then why did you start about her? But maybe.. you know she's special. How?" Aurora was getting too close to the truth and Hook didn't like it, but he needs to have her trust. "Cora told me to mention her. You would know who she is."
"She is my fiancé's sister, a princess in flesh and blood. Princess Winter," the princess says agressively, surprising the captain twice. "Now for my second question: what was your second favor?" The man with the hook takes a step forward and begins to smile. "Well, I saw how you and your companions looked when I mentioned that little girl. I have to say she kind of grew on me during her time on my ship. My second favor is to let me meet her once when we are in Storybrooke. You know, some good catching up," he says. Aurora stands frozen. What should she do? He doesn't seem like it, but he could always harm her..
"The first favor is granted. I have to think through the second one," she says. Aurora takes her cloak and dress and lifts it up so she could run. She didn't see the satisfied glint in his eyes when she runs away.
"Sorry for using your name, little darling. It's just that you are loved by so many, it's easy to use you.."
David was under his Curse and was in a room. This one had no fire, surprisingly. He had to find out how to get to that world that Henry was in. He found that the floor was scorching hot when he dropped the protection necklace Henry gave him. With the torch in his hand he breaks through the floor and falls right into the flaming room.
"Charming?" He turns around himself, searching for the voice that calls to him. It was not Snow White, but someone else. "Winter?" He looks at the girl in a beautiful gown of silk, as white as snow. A little tiara in her brown hair was reflecting the flames, but they didn't hurt her. In fact, she was smiling at him.
"It's really you.. But where is Henry? Is he alright?" She was about to step forward, closer to Prince Charming, when suddenly they hear a shrieking sound. A cloud of black gass appears before her. He takes her arm and pulls her away from him, from the flames. "What is that," the prince asks.
"He protects me here. I was supposed to be in the room you just escaped, but I think that the Curse thought I woke up when I travelled here with the Dark Curse. Now.. I'm trapped in here." She looks at him. "You don't look exactly like the prince I remember, but.. I don't think many people in Storybrooke do nowadays."
"Are you okay," David asks. The princess nods. "I am alright. But.. why are you here? Aurora is not coming back, she was ripped from this realm," Winter rattles, but David stops her. "Aurora might not, but Snow can. She was under a Sleeping Curse as well a long time ago."
Winter nods slowly. "I can't believe I'm this dumb.. Well, I will go sit in my corner then and let you spend some time with your wife. I gather it's been a long time ago since you had that," she whispers. She turns her back to them and the shadow moves with her, its darkness quickly shielding her from David's sight.
That thing is scaring the shit out of him and he can not quite understand why it was protecting Winter. But that was a concern for later. First, Cora needs to be defeated.
