Jeffrey: last summer me and my brothers and friend

Samuel: my brothers and my friend and I

Jeffrey : whatever, we spent the summer the way we always do at our grandpa's cabin

Michael: ya while most kids are at some stupid camp. Me and my brothers and friend

Samuel : my brothers and my friend and I

Jeffrey and Michael : WHATEVER!

Michael: we spent the summer learning old fashion really cool ninja stuff from our Japanese grandfather

Samuel : most days began the same way

Y/n: every morning he would wake us up with a different test.

Grandpa came up the spiral stairs with a bamboo stick. He first waved it in Jeffreys face he caught it.

He moved to Samuel and Samuel caught it before it could hit his face. He came over to me but I was already awake he slowly moved it towards my face but I caught it and smirked. I look over at the two boys smiling.

He moved over to Michael and rubbed it on his nose but Michael just rubbed his nose. Grandpa tried to grab Michaels jelly beans but he grab his bag before he could take them.

Samuel: grandpas kinda a goofball in a way. But when it comes to martial arts and stuff he's pretty cool.

Michael: ya like he can slaughter 50 guys in two seconds

Jeffrey: would you chill!

Michael: shut up!

Y/n: both of you shut up!

Samuel: keep going

Michael: anyway we've been training since we were really little

Jeffrey: your still really little

Michael: jerk!

Jeffrey: the summer was ending, we were about to go back to school. But by now we all thought we were ready to be ninjas

Samuel: it was a good thing that we were

Y/n: because that was the summer we would never forget

Samuel was punching and kicking a wood machine. Jeffrey was breaking pots.

We all put weights on our ankles and started running. Then grandpa made us drag him up a hill while he just sat there and read a book.

Me and Jeffrey were swinging nunchucks around dodging and hitting tennis balls. Jeffrey hit a ball and it hit grandpa in the head.

We trained for a while longer. Jeffrey was holding buckets of water trying to walk on a big log without falling off.

Samuel was holding a wooden staff and was fighting with grandpa. Michael was doing tricks with knifes while having a redvine hanging out of his mouth.

Grandpa was driving his car and Michael jumped down infront of it. Grandpa got out of the car and Michael bent down.

Jeffrey swung down from a tree trying to hit grandpa but grandpa drop to the floor. I threw ninja stars at grandpa but he dodged them.

Samuel jumped down from a tree and swung his staff at grandpa but grandpa dodged it. Samuel went to hit grandpa and grandpa jumped back on the roof of the car and colt jumped down to hit grandpa but grandpa moved.

Grandpa did a flip on the car and Michael jumped up and tried to hit grandpa in the nuts. Grandpa did a backflip off the car and he did 3 back handsprings in a row and then a back flip.

Grandpa grabbed his back in pain. Me, Samuel, and Jeffrey ran towards him. Samuel swung his stick to hit grandpa in the face but he dodged it. Jeffrey tried to hit grandpa but he grabbed his stick and moved it.

I swung at grandpa he grabbed my stick and spun me around and pushed me. Then both of the boys were fighting grandpa until he grabbed both their sticks and spun them in a circle.

Michael threw some blue balls at grandpa but he dodged them by doing a backflip. The boys tried hitting grandpa but he dodged them. I came over and swung my stick at his legs but he jumped over it.

Grandpa did a front roll and then a flip. Then he threw a smoke ball at the floor. We all went wide eyes and looked at each other shocked. He was gone! We ran to the spot he just disappeared from.

Michael: where did he go? Where is he?

We all heard laughing from above us and looked up looking for grandpa.

Grandpa: Yoo-hoo up here

We looked up at the tree and there grandpa was sitting on a tree branch. Samuel takes his hood off annoyed.

Samuel: grandpa how did you do that?

Grandpa: it takes time and attacking in a non- smoking section.

Jeffrey: we almost had you

Taking off his hood

Michael: ya we almost had you

Taking his hood off as well

Grandpa: had me!? Oh Michael

Michael: what?

Grandpa: if I hadn't stopped the car you would have been called pancake by now

We're all laughing and looking over at Michael

Michael: you would have stopped

I chuckle taking my hood off waving my hair around

Samuel: ok guys what now?

Jeffrey: let's attack him again

The boys get In position to attack

Grandpa: aww two lessons you have to learn from this battle. Number one never attack again unless your gonna win.

Jeffrey slowly lowers his staff

Jeffrey: and lesson number two?

Grandpa: never climb a tree that's full of thorns Ooo!

We all burst out laughing

Y/N POV:

After some time grandpa sits us down

Grandpa pulls out 5 masks

Grandpa pulled out a red mask

Michael: grandpa where did you get that ugly mask?

Grandpa: this mask my father gave me on my day of names and I will continue this tradition with you

Jeffrey: the day of names!? He says confused

Michael: but we already got names grandpa

Grandpa: you may have family names but not ninja names.

Grandpa pulls out a green mask

Grandpa: Alright Samuel!

Samuel: sir!

Grandpa: from this day forward until forever you should be known as Rocky because you are strong, solid, and cool as granite rock.

Grandpa passes the green mask towards Rocky. Rocky bows and takes the mask.

Rocky: awesome!

Grandpa: Jeffrey!

Grandpa pulls out a blue mask

Jeffrey looks up at his grandfather.

Grandpa: fast and free! Spirit of the young wild horse. You should be known as colt!

Colt: colt!?that's cool

Colt takes his mask and smiles looking at it

Michael: what about me!? Can I be monster destroyer or how about super killer!?

Colt: how about super dork

I chuckle at the two boys bickering.

Michael: shut up spaz

Grandpa pulls out a yellow mask

Grandpa: little one since your energy begins and ends with your tummy you should be known as tum tum!

Tum tum: * starts laughing*

Grandpa:* chuckles*

Grandpa: Y/N!

Y/N: yes sir!?

Grandpa pulls out a a light red mask

Grandpa: since you are strong and a powerful girl. But your fast on your feet and you aren't scared of anything you should be known as Ace!

Ace: Ace? Awesome!

Colt: I can't wait to show these to dad!

Rocky: he'll hate them

Tum tum: grandpa will our dad be home when we get back tomorrow?

Grandpa: well he's a busy man. In a very trouble some job tum tum.

Tum was stirring the pot and Rocky was cutting carrots. I was standing at the counter waiting for Tum tum to give me the plates. Grandpa was talking on the phone with Mrs. Douglas. Colt walks up to grandpa holding a picture.

Colt: grandpa who's this person in the picture?

Grandpa: that's grandma

Colt: no who's hand is that!?

Grandpa: it's no one! Jessica I know what I'm talking about.

Me and Rocky go over to the table. Tum tum starts throwing plates at us. Rocky caught the first one and placed it down. Tum threw me one and I set it down. Tum throws Rocky one then me one, Rocky sets his down and I set mine down.

Grandpa: ok Jessica I might be wrong but he should spend more time with his own children.

Colt walks away giving up on asking grandpa.

Tum tum: foods coming!

Rocky gets a plate ready. Tum throws the food and Rocky catches it. Tum throws me some food I catch it and set it down. I grab another plate and catch the food tum throws. Tum throws food before Rocky was ready and he dives forward to catch it. Rocky catches it and lets a big breath out that he was holding. Tum tum throws some noodles at grandpa's face.

Tum tum: oops

Ace: tum tum!

We all sit down at the table I sit next to colt and starts digging into the food. Tum grabs some rice and I start thinking about what I'm gonna eat first.

Grandpa: colt what is a ninja?

Colt: a ninja is one who can use everything around him to trick his enemies. He is fast and friendly to his environment.

Ace: and she!

Rocky: a ninja is honest and good his mind, body, and spirit are one. He has self control, he has discipline

Ace: and she!

Ace says shaking her head. Grandpa chuckles

Tum tum: a ninja loves nature uhhh is fond of nature uhh a ninja never fights a battle if he can not win

Grandpa: a ninja mind, body, spirit, heart are one and never use your power on someone weaker than yourself.

Colt: ayy almost everyone is weaker than me grandpa and slower

I stomp on colts foot and grandpa grabs colts nose.

Grandpa: don't be over confident

Tum tum: ya don't be over confident

Colt: ok grandpa

Grandpa let's go of his nose. Colt wiggles his nose a little.

Grandpa: give me your hands

We all put our hands in the middle. Mine goes on top of colts and I blush a little.

Grandpa: love and trust be one, just a rope of one strand can be broken but a rope of 5 strand no enemy can break

Tum tum: wow

The alarm starts going off. We all look at it. I look at colt and then Rocky.

Tum tum: grandpa who is that?

Grandpa: Stay here and eat

Grandpa gets up and walks toward the door. Tum tum grabs the plastic spoon and fork.We all follow behind him not listening to his orders. Grandpa opens the door and I see a black limo. Rocky goes behind grandpa trying to see.

Rocky: grandpa what's going on?

Colt: Rocky let me see!

Rocky: get off!

Grandpa: shut up! Act like ninjas not little babies.

Grandpa says pushing tum tum back into me

Tum tum and Ace: what did we do!?

Colt shoves Rocky and Rocky shoves him back. Two ninjas jump over the black limo. We all look at each other. Two more come running from the other side of the car. All four ninjas come running across the bridge circling around grandpa.

A big buff and tall guy in a black suit comes around the car and opens the door. A tall guy with a ponytail and white suit steps out. We get into our fighting positions and tum tum jumps off the porch. He runs up behind the ninja and pokes his butt.

The ninja turns around and we get into our fighting positions.

All of us: ayyyah

The ninja: ayyyah

The ninja runs at us and we all run.

All of us: RUNNN!

Two ninjas start chasing us around the house. Grandpa is fighting the other ninjas. One comes up to Rocky and he grabs a pot and hits the ninja in the face. A ninja starts swinging his sword at tum tum but tum tum dodges him. Tum ducks down and colts comes up behind the ninja and kicks him he Jumps over the ninjas back and hitting him in the head with his butt.

Rocky kicks the ninja in the stomach. The ninja swings his sword at Rocky and Rocky ducks under the table rolling to the other side. The ninja jumps over the table and Rocky rolls to the other side. The ninja jumps Over the table again and Rocky rolls under the table. The ninja jump onto the table and Rocky rolls under the table again. Tum tum comes up behind him and pokes him in the butt. It shocks the ninja making him jump and hit his head on the branch hanging down. Rocky hits the ninja on the foot with a plant and he hits his head on the branch again. I kick the ninja in the legs and he falls down onto the table. I kick him off of the table and he lands on the dirt floor.

Tum tum kicks him in the nuts and then the face and then kicks him in the face again. The ninja hits his face on the table and falls back. Tum tum jumps onto the ninjas stomach and taps his face mask.

The ninja throws a kick a colt and he misses colt. Colt grabs a hanging plant and throws it at the ninjas face. He catches the plant and sticks his tongue out at him and throws the swinging plant at the ninja again. The ninja ducks down but it comes back and hits him in the head and he flys forward. Colt grabs the ninjas head and kicks him in the stomach. The ninja try's to kick colt but he ducks down and comes up and kicks the ninja in the back. Colt try's to run but the ninja grabs his gi, I come behind the ninja and grab the swinging plant and swing and kick the ninja in the back making him fly forward.

Colt, Rocky, and me are fighting a ninja. Rocky kicks the ninja in the face and colt and me nod and kick the ninja in the stomach. Tum tum comes running to us we pick him up and hit the ninja in the stomach with his feet sending the ninja flying back. We all high five and run to find grandpa.

We run around the house and see grandpa. We smile and give him a thumbs up. He waves up to go sit down. We smile and walk away to go so down on the porch.
