Ash hugged me and said, " I'm so sorry Alex! I thought he told you! I mean.. He promised us he will tell us soon. God! I'm an idiot!"

I gave her a sad smile after we pulled off the hug, " Ash.. Its okay.. Maybe he just wants to tell me later. I mean.. It is not going change anything.. It was in his past. Everyone of us have a past that they don't like to talk about "

She smiled at me and said, "He is very lucky to have you as his mate Alex."

With that she left the room.

I turned around and saw Blake. He was in his suit ready to go to his office.

Starring at his face I knew he heard everything. His eyes held regret and sadness. He came forward and held my hand.

He said," I'm sorry Lexi. It's just.. I didn't feel like it was a right time to tell you. I know I'm making excuses, I'm sorry. I know you may not even forgive me. I-"

I cupped his cheeks, " Blake! Calm down okay! I forgive you! It was your past. I understand. You needed some kind of distraction. I understand okay? "

He nodded and hugged me. He whispered in my ears," It was only for a year Lexi. I was seventeen. I was feeling forced to take over the pack. My wolf was very angry with me. I stopped it when I turned 18 Lexi. I knew that if my mate found or I found her she would not be happy with me. Ash and Elliott advised me. I was disgusted with myself. "

I pulled back from the hug and said," Everyone has a way of dealing with pressure and sadness. I understand you Blake. It was your past. I don't judge you by your past. I love who you are today. This is the real you. You have went through a lot at a young age. I love you Blake"

He smiled at me and replied, " I love you too Lexi" with that he kissed me. This kiss was sweet but it held a lot of our emotions.

When we pulled away he asked, " So your not mad me?"

I grinned and said, " I'm not! It's just.. You didn't tell it to me. I have to hear it from your sister. I mean when where you planning on telling me? After you marked me? After mating?"

He soon his head and said, " I don't know. I don't want to stress you out today. I promise you, I planned on telling you tomorrow. "

I looked in his eyes, he was telling the truth.

I said the one thing that was in my mind," Mark me "

He asked me," Are you sure? I don't want to rush things with you... "

I said," Are you going to mark me or not? "

He slowly kissed me and started leaving kisses on my neck. He found the right spot when I moaned. He sat down on the bed and pulled me to his lap. He kissed the place one more time, making me moan again and I felt his canines. He slowly bit me.

It was painful but slowly turned to pleasure. I felt dizzy.

Blake kissed my mark and kissed my lips and lifted me up and put the comforter on my body and kissed my forehead and said, " The marking has made you tired. Sleep. When you wake up call me. Okay?"

I nodded at him.

He pecked my lips and said, " I love you"

I replied, " I love you too"

With that I fell into deep slumber.

When I woke up, I groaned and saw the time on my phone. It was 4 in the afternoon. There was a note on the table.

Call me when your awake Lexi. We have to meet some people. Call me!

I slowly sat up on the bed leaning on the headboard. He took the call in the second ring.

" Hey!", he said.

I replied, " Hey!"

He said, " did you see the mark?"

I replied, " No. Wait a minute."

I slowly got up and and went the restroom and looked in the mirror. The mark was beautiful.

I gasped and said, " It is so beautiful"

He just gave a hmm sound. I looked at myself in the mirror. I look like shit.

Blake said, " you don't look like shit Lexi"

How did you know?

He said, " I marked you Lexi. Mate bond"

He was listening to my thoughts. I tried reading his he blocked, so I blocked mine also.

He said, " Blocked me huh?"

I just rolled my eyes.

He continued, " Eat something and get ready. We are going out. Ash, Elliott, Nate, Nina, Felix,Elina and Elijah"

We already had the family dinner this week. So I asked, " We already family dinner this week. I am not complaining. But why suddenly?"

Blake said, "We are meeting someone important. I have to go now okay? I will be back at 7."

He was cut off by someone speaking with him. He said, " I love you"

I replied, " I love you too"

I cut the call. Someone knocked on the door.

I opened it, it was one of the female who helped in the kitchen. She has brought me lunch.

I said, " Thank you"

She smiled and closed the door. I ate the food watching T. V. After that I went down to the kitchen, no one was there. I washed the dishes and kept them in the shelf.

I went to Ashley's room. I opened the door to see Elliott sleeping and the lights were off. But the closet door was open and with its light on.

Ashley was sitting in the middle of the closet with clothes spread around her.

She grinned and said, " Your marked!"

I smiled back at her.

I asked her, "what are you going to wear?"

She said, " I don't know! Tell me, blue or red?"

Both the dresses were beautiful.

Blue was lace. Red was simple.

I liked red. It suits her also.

I said, "Red"

She took it and said, " you should get ready. Its going to be 6. We have to leave by 8"

I nodded at her.

I went to my room and took a bath. Changed into a black off shoulder dress and wore a necklace and paired it with black heels.

Straightened my hair and applied my red lipstick. I heard the bedroom door open and close and in seconds Ash came in.

She said, " Hey! Do you have any red wedges ? I don't want to wear heels today.."

I said, " Sure. One minute"

I took my red wedges and gave it to her.

Again, I heard the door open and close and Elina came in. She was wearing a gorgeous dark blue dress. She paired it with her blue heels.

Ash and I said at the same time," You look gorgeous Lina"

Her brown hair was in a ponytail, and the mascara complimented her brown eyes.

She nervously asked, " Is it too much for a dinner? I don't.. Know... Why.. But my wolf is pestering me to dress up..."

Ash said wiggling her eyebrows , " You look gorgeous Lina! Maybe today you will find your mate"

Lina blushed.

Ash and I laughed and I said, " I don't think your brother will let you out."

Lina asked, " He will! Oh.. I forgot why I came! Alex do you have any necklace which suits this dress? I know for sure Nina not Ash will have anything."

I opened my closet drawer and took a velvet box. Aiden gave it to me when I left . He said it was a necklace passed down for generations. It should rightly belong to his mate as he has yet to find his mate. He gave it to me, to have it till he finds his mate. He said it would be safer with me than him.

When I opened Lina gasped, " it looks beautiful"

I smiled and said, " It will look even more beautiful on you."

She put on the necklace and hugged me. She said, " Thank you"

Ash then said, " It's going to be 7:30. I should leave, I have to put on my makeup."

Lina smiled at me and said, " I will go and help her. And Alex wear that earrings. It matches your necklace and your mark looks so beautiful!"

With that she went to her room. In less than five minutes I heard the bedroom door open and close and running water in the bathroom. Blake was home. I went out of the closet to see his mobile and watch lying carelessly on the bed.

His phone started ringing it was Aiden.

I answered, " Hey Aiden!"

Aiden replied, " Hey Alex! Where are you guys?"

I said , " We are still in the house. How are you?"

He said, " I'm good. Just restless. How are you? I miss you sis"

I replied, " I'm also good. I miss you too A. When are you going to visit me?"

He said, " soon. Where is Blake? I need to talk with him."

I replied, " He is in the bathroom. I will ask him to call you. Okay?"

He said, " okay. Bye Alex! I'll see you soon. Love you "

I said," Love you too "

I went inside the closet to take my heels and purse. Blake was buttoning up his shirt. He turned around and pulled me towards him, kissed the mark and said," You look beautiful Lexi. "

I said," Thank you. Where are we going? "

He grinned and said," To meet my sister AL."

With that he pulled me in for a kiss.
