It's been a week since I had gotten kidnapped. And every time I walk I look over my shoulder. Honestly at first I would hardly go to outside. My car stood outside lonely and I realized that I was neglecting it recently, since Reece drops me at school.

Mama Jones was currently closed for 2 weeks because they had to repair it. So that was a bummer when school was over.

I hadn't really talked to Mr Grumpy after the whole kidnap incident, not a surprise. Jasper and I have become closer friends. Bethany was still a bit weird, which I didn't know why. Reece had warmed up to Jasper a little bit, despite his hatred toward him. And Cameron finally bought me that jumbo skittles bags with Reece's money.

Yeah that's about it. I was at Elysie park. Elysie Park was probably the most peaceful place ever. It was nice and quiet. The people were friendly. The food stalls were great.

And they had this massive slide which I had yet to try. I know it sounds silly, since in all my 17 years of living here I haven't been on the slide. But seriously it was huge. I once heard that a 4 year old puked after going on it.

I wasn't going to take a risk. Especially with my case of clumsiness.

Although the people are friendly they have been giving me these unknown weird stares. Like it's I'm getting nervous.

The only thing I didn't like about Elysie Park was the dogs. I mean sure they were quiet and friendly, but that didn't stop the fear from crawling up inside me.

My parents were at some florist show thing on the other side of town with Becca. Although my dad was totally against the idea of going, mom forced him.

"Um excuse me can you help me find my mommy?" I turned around at the sound of a cute baby voice. Awhh. She looked about 5.

Her golden long hair was kept in two pigtails with little bows on them. Her blue eyes had tears in them. She had on a green dress with a lot of frills. And I mean a lot.

"Awhh sweetie come here." I bent down and opened my arms. She immediately ran towards me and latched onto me. I adored children they're just like a ball of energetic adorableness.

Once she was in my arms I stood up and held her tight in my arms. She was really light actually which I was very thankful, seeing as how I was as weak as a baby duckling.

"Okay sweetie we are gonna find your mommy okay?" I promised the sweet child. Gosh she was just so adorable. She frantically nodded her head and snuggled against me.

Well I should have thought about this better. I mean how was I suppose to find her mom? "Um sweetie, what is your mom wearing?"

She looked up with a pout, "Green."

Yes because that helps me so much.

I sighed seeing as how impossible this task was going to be.

I carried on walking though trying to find a woman with green on. An-- oh my goodness why was everyone wearing green today? What is this?? Green Lantern Day? I mean that would be pretty cool though. Ryan Reynolds is pretty cute.

"Hmm, everyone is wearing green though." I mumbled clueless. It was extremely hot today. Lucky for me I wore sunblock today otherwise I would look like a burnt chicken. Burnt Chicken. Oh my god my friend Suzy likes burnt chicken. Like really burnt to the point where it looks like a dark hole.

I once went to her house and she refused to eat anything but burnt chicken. So we purposelessly had to burn a perfectly good chicken. She told me she loved the crispy texture of it. I mean obviously the only thing you are gonna taste is coals.

I heard a frantic voice pull me out of my thoughts. I searched for the sound of a woman shouting. "Hey!"

"U-Um Hi?" I asked the elegant woman. She was tall and slim. She had her blond locks in a tight low bun. She looked just like the little girl with the same pair of blue eyes. She wore a knee length summer dress with white circles on it and white flats.

"Oh my baby, come here." She opened her arms for the little girl in my arms. The girl hurried into her arms and I smiled. "Oh you sweet child, thank you for finding my baby girl." She smiled sweetly at me and kissed the little girls head.

"Oh no problem." I smiled popping my dimples out. "Um can I just ask why everybody is wearing green today?"

"Oh sweetie it's Wayfield's Green Day." She answered and my jaw dropped in shock. Really?

Wayfield's Green Day was kinda a big thing in this town. It basically shows our awareness for the environment and animal rights. Mom got super excited on this day. Oh so that's why she is at some florist show.

I can't believe I didn't know, because now I was probably the only person in this park that was not wearing green. I had on my bright pink and white loose skirt that reached my knee. I also had on a white crop top with the word 'Cupcakes' on it. Lucky for me the skirt was high waisted so it didn't really show much skin.

"Oh that explains why I got the weird stares and the whole green outfits." I rubbed my hands together and looked down for a brief second. I felt a bit embarrassed.

"Well thank you....," She paused waiting for my name.

"Oh it's Anastasia but you can call me, Ana, Annie, Anne, Sia, Si or A." I chirped at her.

She looked at me weirdly for a bit before speaking. "Okay. Well thank you Ana for finding my Jacinda." The lady said and held Jacinda tighter. That's such a cute name.

"Awh it was no problem really."

"Anyway I must be off now, my husband is probably looking for me." She smiled and waved. I waved back at them and made a funny face at Jacinda which made her giggle. Turning around I began to walk quickly across one of the main fields.

I wanted to go somewhere where the were less people. Since everybody was giving me these weird stares. I mean just because I'm not wearing green doesn't give people a reason for me to get stares at. Actually it does. I mean you are wearing bright pink in a crowd of green.

"Sorry." I muttered out to the 5th person who I had bumped into. My left shoulder was starting to hurt now. Finally there was only a little people now that I was walking away from the center of the park. While I was walking I rubbed my sore shoulder softly hoping it would soothe some of the pain.

Lately all I have been thinking about is Mr Grumpy. He's just so.... mysterious and confusing. Like honestly he is more confusing than a rubix cube.

There's just so many questions that have been left unanswered. But who was he?

I didn't know anything really besides the fact that he fights at The Cave , and he lives with Jasper. Other than that its blank spaces.

It was pretty quiet until I heard an ear piercing bark. Oh no!

The bark was extremely loud almost like it didn't come from a dog, but I knew better. I turned around slowly and stared at the beast.

I knew a little about dogs. only because Aunt Macy watched dog programs 24/7. She hardly watched anything else. From the way this dog looked I think he was a Caucasian Shepherd Dog. And from watching Aunt Macy's programs they were extremely viscous.

The dog seemed like a male from the size of it. His fur was black and brown. Everything about the dog looked massive even his teeth. He took a step toward me baring his sharp teeth.

"Oh my god." I began to panic, this dog was really massive and like where was everyone? I looked around and suddenly there was no one. What? I really really really didn't like dogs.

"C-Calm down cute slightly scary doggy." I tried to coo at him but he obviously didn't appreciate it, because he made another threatening step. I inhaled and exhaled deeply. One of my friends said never to run away from a dog.

But did I seriously listen?

No, because I apparently have a death wish today.

I turned around so quickly I was sure that my neck was about to snap off. I then began to sprint which was kind of equal to your power walking.

All I heard was the dogs deafening barks, and my tortured screams. My hands were getting clammy and my throat felt dry.

"Holy goose." I shouted as I almost ran into a tree. Skillfully I dodged another random tree and ran faster into the forest not knowing where I was going.

Honestly I just wanted the dog gone. And where the heck was the Owner??

I gave out a scream hoping someone would hear it.

Trying to focus on not hitting a tree I almost slipped. The dogs barks became louder like he was right behind me. My eyes became a bit blurry for a second and then I fell.

All I felt was water surrounding me. I felt a bit suffocated but managed to push myself off the ground. When my head was above the water I gulped as much air as I could. How did I even manage to fall into a pond? Like where did this even come from?? This is so embarrassing. What a klutz.

I heard someone whistling and then there was no more barks, thank god. The pond wasn't deep at all so I pulled myself shamefully out of it and hoped that whoever had whistled didn't see me. I was drenched completely.

I straightened my skirt and crop top. My hair was tangled, I could feel it so I put it into a wet mop. I angrily stomped onto the grass but that didn't work well since I slipped again into the pond.

Agrhh.

This is so painful to even think about.

Finally once I got my balance back and I pulled myself onto the grass and spat out the water in my mouth.

"That was funny." I shrieked at the sound of a familiar voice.

"M-Mr Grumpy?" My jaw dropped as I watched him pet the beast who stood there proudly watching me with a smug grin. I glared at the dog.

"Kid." He rolled his eyes. I was probably a sight to him. I looked like a wet rat that was found in the drain. My nose and cheeks were red because of the air.

"I-Is that your dog?" I stuttered out holding my body tightly. His eyes scanned over my body slowly. I blushed at him.

"Yes. This is Tiny." He answered and looked at Tiny.

"Why on earth is he named Tiny when he is obviously so not Tiny?" I asked in disbelief as I stared at Tiny. Holy goose Tiny was soo not tiny.

"Because it's funny." He stiffly said. What a weird sense of humor.

"Well are you going to apologize?" I mumbled out at him and shook my leg to get the water droplets off of me. His eyes drifted to my soaking legs before he looked me in the eyes.

"For what?" He hissed out like a snake. I flinched as always.

"For you're dog attacking me." I wavered my hands down the length of my body.

"It's not my fault." He rolled his eyes at me.

"Yes it is. Because you should be keeping an eye on Tiny, as a matter of fact you shouldn't even let him out without a leash." I argued frustratingly. His dog almost attacked me and he didn't even apologize.

"Listen Kid. If you haven't noticed this already, you are at the dog park right now." His jaw was clenched making my eyes stay interested on his perfectly shaped jaw.

I looked around and he was right, there was a sign attached to a tree saying that. "But you should still apologize."

"Don't tell me what to do Kid." He snarled out at me and again I flinched. "Tiny come."

I stood there frozen. "You are so," I tried to think of a word, "mean!"

He turned around."I don't care." And then he left with Tiny trailing him.

After walking myself home with my drenched clothes and permanently tinted checks, I took a really long shower.

Once my shower was done which might I add was absolutely amazing, I sat on my bed with a pile of annoying sheets of homework.

The house was quiet and all I good hear was Alex purring loudly. He attempted to bite a couple of my homework sheets but I managed to get him away from my papers. Seriously though what would I say to my teachers? Oh Mrs my cat ate my homework. Yeah right.

After my homework was finally finished I just laid under my blankets in the dark. My body was so and I wanted to go to sleep, so I counted to 265 to make myself fall asleep. And I did. Before you know it, I was gone.

"Guys spring break is in 2 weeks." Jasper grinned out at us. Bethany's eyes were trained on him only. Did she have a crush on him or something? But didn't she say she didn't like him? I just kept munching on my delicious cupcake. It was a red velvet one with super creamy frosting.

"Yeah and?" Reece raised his brow when Jasper's grin grew wider. Lately Jasper has been sitting with us which caused a great surprise to the school. Since Jasper was the soccer captain they were a bit confused as to why he was sitting next to Reece.

In our school the boys soccer team and football team were totally against each other. I didn't really see the point in it since we were from the same school. Maybe because they're were males? I don't really know. At first Reece was a bit suspicious when Jasper sat next to him.

"Well since you guys are my frien-"

"I am not your friend." Reece interrupted and I gasped at his rudeness.

Jasper rolled his eyes at him before continuing. "Anyway like I said, you guys are my friends and I think we should do something. "

"Like what?" Bethany spoke and Jasper's turned his face to look at her. I watched their interaction and noticed that Bethany's cheeks had a slight colour to it. Wait was she blushing??? She rarely blushes. My jaw dropped at this and Bethany caught my eyes and looked away.

Jasper cleared his throat, " Well my parents have this beach house up in somewhere in Maine. Which is about 4 and a half hours away. But we can stop over and stuff. And it will be for 5 nights. What do you guys say?"

We sat there quietly thinking. To be honest I think that that is an amazing idea. We would have so much fun and spend time with each other.

"Oh my god that would be so much fun. I have to ask my parents first." I beamed at Jasper for his brilliant Idea.

"Will there be food?" Of course Cameron had to ask that. What a pig. Oinkee Oinkee. That was supposed to be my pig sound.

"Yes Cam." Jasper let out a chuckle and I giggled. I moved my head around to the door when I head a bang. But it was just a bunch of boys shoving each other. I don't know why I was disappointed though.

"I'm in." Cameron quickly said making us all shake our heads.

"You're just coming for the free food Cam." I let out a laugh telling him.

"Well that's the only reason I'm friends with you guys." He winked at me and I smiled at him shaking my head. He is such a fool sometimes.

"Yeah I'll check with my parents." Reece nodded his head and finished his apple before throwing it in the trash.

We all looked at Beth who sat there silently. We all stared at her until she cracked. "Fine. I'll ask my mom."

We all cheered out loud making the whole cafeteria look at us. My cheeks warmed up at all the attention. But my friends just shrugged it off and carried on speaking about the road trip.

I was actually looking forward to this. I just had one question that I wanted to ask Jasper but refrained from doing it. Was Mr Grumpy coming with or?? I mean it would be okay if he didn't come since he wasn't exactly social.

I mean it's not like I'll be sad if he doesn't.. Well that's not entirely true. He is my friend. I think.

"U-Um what are you doing sweetie?" I heard my moms voice and I froze. Oh god this is so embarrassing.

"Uh well you know... Um I got stuck I guess." I nodded my head but then realized that was the wrong thing to do. "Ouch that hurts."

"Honey don't move your head. Oh my god. I am going to call your father. Wait here." She screams at me and runs downstairs. Sure it's not like I can move at all.

Okay basically I got my head stuck in my bed post thingy. My bed frame has this bars decorated at the end of the bed to make it look more stylish. And well one of the bars were a bit loose and I wanted to see if I could get my body through it.

Yes I know, it sounds impossible and silly. But I was bored. Now here I was laying flat on stomach with my head in between the bed bars. This was sooo embarrassing. Oh my god I would face palm myself but I don't think that's a good idea. I laid there silently waiting for my parents.

"Oh my god. Anastasia how on earth did you manage to get stuck in there?" My father eyes widened when he saw my figure laying on my stomach with of course my head in the bars.

"I was feeling bored?" I offered out sheepishly. I groaned out and blushed when my parents shook their heads.

Dad put his tool box on the floor sighing. "Sweetie what are we going to do with you?"

"Um get me out of here please, and feed me?" I told dad and he gave me a chuckle. Mom stood at the door with her arms folded.

"Okay." Dad began to unscrew some of the bars so that my head could come out. Like I said this was so embarrassing I mean, how did I even manage to do this?

Finally the bars were unscrewed and my head was released. I let out a sigh of relief and rubbed my neck softly before giving them both a hug. "Thanks mom and dad for saving me once again."

"No problem sweetie now come down and eat." Mom kissed my forehead and pulled my arm. Dad nodded and set down his tools down and we walked down the stairs.

"I love you guys so much." I smiled at them and dug into my pasta.

"We love you too sweetie. Just try not to get stuck like that again." Dad laughed at me and sipped his drink. We all laughed and smiled like a happy family.

"How can someone be so clumsy?" Mom shook her head at me and dished dad another bowl.

"I think I'm an alien." I responded and took a sip of my water.

"I think you are too." Mom grinned at me and I blushed bashfully at her.

"Guys." I paused waiting for them to look at me. "Can you guys um not tell anyone about what just happened?"
