I looked at the kunai boredly. I darkly smirked revealing my carnivous fangs.
"It seems I have," I said evilly.
I turned back towards Itachi who still held a blank expression, but there was irritation in his eyes that ruined his whole demeanor. I looked at him with a new look in my eyes, and it had blood lust written all over them. Thanks to my Ookami eyes, it deflects the Uchiha's fancy eye technique and won't have any effect on me as long as my eyes are activated. I took my katana's handle, and slid it out its case. Black chakra soon swarmed around me causing my body to fill up with strength and pain.
Wait. Why does my body hurt?
I held in the urge to scream out in pain. I looked up at the moon, trying to distract myself from the pain. But by this time I couldn't hold the scream in anymore. I opened my mouth to scream but instead I let out a loud haunting howl that echoed throughout the forest.
Itachi quickly reacted and made fast hand signs. He looked at me and unleashed a large amount of blazing fire. I smirked at his attempt to burn me. Before the flame could even touch me flash stepped behind him. I gripped my blade's handle's and aimed the blade at his head. Itachi quickly looked behind in time and dodge the attack by a hair strand. Itachi then turned around and kicked me in my stomach. Let me tell you, it hurt like hell.
I flew back into the tree, but instead of me slamming into it, I pushed off the tree using my chakra and flew past Itachi letting my katana scrap his skin. His eyes widened and tried to look at me but I pushed back of another tree, and once again scraped his body. I kept it up, cutting him, increasing my speed a little each time. Finally Itachi got pissed off and made hand signs and blew fire at me. I gasped and jumped out the way in time. Once again my body pulsed with pain. I tried ignored it and ran at Itachi. I let out a cry and aimed my katana towards him but he just moved to he side, dodging my attack.

"You've gotten faster Reika," Itachi said emotionless. I kept my glare on him, but for some reason the memory of my mother flashed inside my head. I had left my guard wide open and Itachi then kicked me hard in stomach making me fly back into a tree. My eyes closed and I let out a groan as my back made contact with the tree. The pain in my body grew worse, making the ability to move much harder. My body slid down and I started to cough up black blood. Opening one eye, I tried to look at Itachi but my vision was blurry.
"But your still weak," Itachi said getting closer to me. Not thinking, I stood up, apparently too fast because I soon became dizzy.
Ignoring my demon, I charge towards him, but unfortunately another painful pulse went through my body, my legs suddenly felt heavier. I aimed for him but again he dodged and landed a punch on my cheek. My cheek exploded with pain and I stumble back, but caught my fall. The pain inside me grew making me wince. My body, I can't bear this pain. If this keeps up, I'll go insane.
The pain grew so much that I fell on one knee and I gripped my stomach hoping the pain would go away. He scoffed and walked towards me with a kunai in his hand. Cursing under my breath, I tried to stand but couldn't. Itachi stood above me and positioned the kunai above him.
"Pathetic as always," he sneered. I tried to glare at the Uchiha but failed. He brought down his hand and I closed my eyes and waited for the impact, but it never came. I looked up to see Kakashi Sensei blocking the blade with the back of his hand.
"K-Kakashi," I said out of surprise. Itachi just glared at him.
Then suddenly Sasuke came from behind and tried to kick him. Itachi noticed this and jumped away quickly from us.

"Let's finish our little battle next time Reika. And as for you kid brother, we'll meet again" Itachi stated and then ran off.
"Itachi!" Sasuke shouted and then started off towards him.
"Sasuke!" Kakashi yelled making Sasuke stop immediately. "Let him go. We need to help Reika first,"
Sasuke growled but then looked away. I took my focus off the Uchiha for a second and looked at Kakashi. "How'd you guys find me?" I asked curiously.
"Your howl kinda gave you away," Kakashi said simply. I had a sweat drop. Dammit. Stupid canine senses.
Sasuke then turned and looked at me. His eyes widened as soon as his eyes hit me. I wasn't surprised, I probably looked dreadful from the beating. He walked up to I just gave me a hand. I just looked at it for a while but then gratefully took it. "You look awful," were the words that came out of his mouth as he lifted me up.
"Thanks that’s what every girl wants to hear," I mumbled, as I dusted myself off. Kakashi just sighed.
"Ok let’s head back," Kakashi suggested. I nodded and took a step forward, but then it felt as if all my chakra was sucked out of me and I started to fall back. Luckily someone caught me. I weakly looked up to see Sasuke holding me.
"Damn Good For nothing demon," I mumbled.
'My point exactly' Sasuke pick me up and carry me bridal style. A slight blush appeared on my face. I had never been this close to Sasuke before, but I just relaxed your head on his chest and rested your eyes, listening to his heartbeat.
~At the house
Naruto and Sakura were up scolding me. I just rubbed the back of my neck, and apologized.
"Where the heck have you been all night!" Sakura yelled.
"Yeah Reika! We were worried sick," Naruto stated. My eyes widened when they said that.
"You guys... were worried... about me?" I asked surprised. Naruto and Sakura just looked at me weird.
"Yeah, why wouldn't we be?" Naruto replied.
So they really do care... They aren't afraid of me like the others were. A small and gentle smile crawled on my face.
"I'm sorry guys...I didn't mean to worry you... I just thought no one cared..." I said low, looking down at my hands.
"Baka, why would you think that," Sasuke said looking away.
"We all care Reika! Believe it!" Naruto said giving me a big smile. I just looked at everyone surprised at what they said and then looked down and smirked.
"I'm going to bed," I stated while getting up. Sakura went by my side and lifted my arm over her shoulder and helped me up the stairs. As soon as I laid in my bed, I sighed and turned over on my side.
'These people...' I thought as I slowly closed my eyes.
'They don't act like everyone else did in my clan.' Images of my team, and Yuki flashed in my head making a smile form on my lips. A smile I have not had for a long time. This smile, was actually genuine.
'They actually care.' My body slowly relaxed and I let myself drift off to sleep into a peaceful sleep. One that I have not had in long time.
