《Arranged Marriage to The Devil》Chapter 23: Tricks & Jewelry

After Spending Valentines day with Andrew, I'm starting to feel weird around him; not like I usually do. He's making me laugh more, I feel comfterable around him. He's bringing back the old Andy. I was explaining this to Leah while she was driving to the mall. "This is something I shouldn't be feeling at all, I'm still acting like myself but sometimes I giggle or feel a little bit shy,"
Leah shook her head, "Alex, when was the last time you had feelings for someone?"
I poundered for a moment, "Eric.."
"Exactly!!" Leah exclaimed, "You haven't been interested in anyone for a while and since Andrew is being all nice and generous; you're gaining feelings for him."
I looked over at Leah and her eyes were still focus on the road. Is she actually serious?
"I can't have feelings for Andrew, it's impossible!! We used to hate each other."
"Did you really hate him?"
I paused, "Well... Um yeah I did. For what he done before-"
"Yeah and now he's apologizing for it and you should accept it. I know Andrew and Eric are hiding something from you but it shouldn't affect how you feel about someone."
I looked out the window and glance at the sign to turn into the mall. "So first we're going to Tiffany to see about this box," I said.
Leah knew I changed the subject, she nodded her head, "Yep or we can go to Starbucks first!" She squealed
"Fine, but you're paying!" I said then shut the door
Leah got out of the car and headed over to Starbucks. Once we reached the cafe we each ordered a Mocha Frappe and then walked towards the mall, "How was your Valentines Date? You still haven't told me about that," I asked then took a sip from my frappe.
"It was okay, he's from our school which I'm surprise I haven't seen him around and I kind of understand since-"

"Yeah okay," I interuppted "But who is he?"
She nervously played with her straw, "You wouldn't know him, he's pretty shy and I don't think you would approve of him, he's so out of my--"
"LEAH!" I exclaimed, "Tell me who the guy is and I'll let it go,"
She took a long sip from her Frappe, "It's Andre,"
I choked on my drink, "Wait Andre?!" I said in shock
She nodded her head, "Yep Andre D--"
"Dilaurentis, Andre Dilaurentis." I stated
She glanced over at me in shock, "Wait you know him?"
I sneered, "Know him? He's best friends with Andrew thats what."
Leah opened the door to the mall, "I know that... He asked me out two weeks before."
Again, I choked on my drink, "Wait what?!"
Leah stared at me with caution, "Yeah... I was at the book store and Andre was there with his little sister and we kept on talking, which surprisingly we have a lot in common. Then he asked me out."
Throwing out my empty cup, I stared at Leah, "I'm not going to penalize you now but once Andrew finds out I don't know what's going to happen,"
"I could handle Andrew and besides I highly doubt Andre is going to tell him now. It's only been our first date,"
"Wait hold on," I paused "You mean.. You guys have been hanging out before?!"
She nodded her head, "Yep, since that time at the Book store we been talking non-stop."
"Now it all makes sense why you would cancel on me," For the past few weeks Leah's been canceling on me for stupid "Errands" she had to go run and now I know what those Errands are.
Once we reach the top floor, we were right in front of Tiffany's, "You ready?" I asked Leah
"Am I ready? Are you ready?! This isn't my secret Admirer I'm looking for." Leah told me

"I know," I sighed. "Now lets go in before I pee my pants."
We walk into Tiffany and we saw a lot of couples and also ladies in the store,
"Oh look at this ring Ron, Doesn't it look pretty?" A girl asked her--I think it's her boyfriend.
He shrugged, "Yeah it looks pretty cool," not a good choice to say Ron.
His girlfriend let go of his arm and stormed out of the store, "What kind of boyfriend are you!?!" she cried out.
"We get those sistuations all the time, it's praticually mandatory for it to happen once a day,"
Leah and I turn towards A lady in a who was dress in a business suite with a name tag that says 'Sarah: Tiffany sale associate', "Hi my name is Sarah, how may I help you today?"
"Actually I do need your help today and it involves a purchase," I took out the blue box from my purse, "I got this present for Christmas but it doesn't say who's it from. It has the gift reciept inside, so I was wondering if you can help me track down who bought this item in December?" I asked
The sales lady or so called Sarah looked at ease, "I don't know..."
"Please? It's her only chance of finding out who it's from." Leah pleaded
She looked between the both of us, "Okay fine, but you can't tell anyone I did this for you," She said and started walking towards the front desk.
We follwed Sarah to the front desk and she typed in her code name and it appeared a Tiffany screen. "I'm going to need the Gift Reciept to track down the purchase." Sarah asked
I took out the Reciept from the box and gave it to Sarah. She scaned the reciept and it shown up a different page on the screen, "Okay so their is two pieces to the necklace. One is the heart with a keyhole and also a key to open. And to this recpiet it seem the person bought the two necklace seperatly."
Both Leah and I nodded our heads, "When was the heart Necklace purchase?" I asked
"And can we find out the credit card number?" Leah asked
Sarah looked up towards us for a moment and then went back to the computer, "Both necklace were bought on December 5th and the credit card number is.... It doesn't say. This person must of bought it with cash."
I slouched my shoulders, "They couldn't pay in cash! Tiffany jewerly cost a fourtune!!" Leah shrieked
Sarah nodded her head, "I know, I been working at Tiffany since my college days. But it seems that the 2nd box hasn't been picked up yet."
My eyes lit up, "Can we take it with us?" I asked Sarah
She nodded her head, "Sure, just let me go back and get it for you," Then she left.
I looked over at Leah, "I really hope I can open the locket, I wonder whats inside?" I beamed
Leah stayed quiet for a little bit, "Don't you think this is a little to easy?"
I furrowed my eyebrows, "What do you mean?"
Sarah came back with a light blue envelope, "Apprently this is the only thing left from december... Is your name Alexandra?"
I nodded my head and took the blue envelope from Sarah and opened it to find a cream colored letter inside;
Dear, Alex
Apprently I know you to well because now you're at Tiffany trying to track down the person who bought you this lovely necklace. Well now you're back to square one.
Well not really. You'll find out on your 18th birthday who I am. Don't look for me, I'll look for you. I could be anybody; Your mother, friend, boy, girl, someone from a different school; anybody. Have fun explaining this to Leah.
From your Secret admirer
P.S (I wish I was there to see your cute confusing face)
I lowered the letter from my face and my mouth dropped open.
Leah was right. This was to easy..
I looked over at Sarah and then at Leah, "We just been tricked!"
