《Predator(KnY×reader!!Ghoul)》Chapter 01: Now a Demon's Slayer

"Holy shit. Where am I?" Y/n couldn't help but say for the umpteenth times as she wandered the place from roof to roof.
Ancient houses. People wearing kimonos and such. Old ways. Old lives.
Is there a festival?
She's checked that a couple of times. But to no avail, it was not a festival setting.
Some type of ancient movie remake? Also no.
Everything around her is genuine. Everyone around her are ĺiving the historical lifestyle and nothing in this place is considered modern.
She picked up her phone out from her pocket. While there was no service in the area, her battery was full which was confusing as well.
"So what now?" She sighed. She can't just get down and mingle when she's like a peacock around ducks if she does.
Her clothes were black. Her hoodie, her pants and even her shoes and facemask. Trying to go down there and observe is more like asking for someone to kill you because you're a clog that doesn't belong.
"Ah, kid! Ayato! Where are you when I needed you? Why didn't you look for me?" She sat on the bamboo roof with irritation. Elbow on her knees as she leaned her chin on her palm.
She wàs panicking now. But pretended that she was just cool about it despite how confused and lost she was at the current situation.
But the first thing she need to do is blend in. Just like how ghouls go with humans... well... sort of like that. Deciding to jumped off towards an empty backyard and did her first step. Grab some random kimono hanging outside some random house and yeet away.
She's eaten enough flesh from that marechi so she could still hold for another month if she's not drained. Having a plain grey kimono in hand, she darted off into the woods.
7 months later...
She swayed the silver sword aside to clean off the blood that stuck into the blade after the last demon fell into the ground.
The last of them gasped for his last breath as he started evaporating into the air looking through the shades of her unique eyes(in a ghoul form) while his body is disappearing.

His fear until the very end never disappeared, watching her stand in front of him as if more demonic than he could ever imagine. That girl... is more fearsome than anyone he's ever seen not even Muzan could give him such scare.
"Curse... you... demon slayers..." he completely disappeared.
"Yeah. Everyone tells me that when I robbed these clothes." The girl apathetically replied. She was wearing the demon slayer corps uniform, one that she took from the slayer she recently ate in curiosity over how they actually tasted--he was actually dead by then.
But to her dismay, she was disappointed. It wasn't as special as her first meal when she was here. The body was too fatigue and anemic that it was almost tasteless. And after impersonating the said soldiers of this world, the eagle that once belonged to the victim started following her, telling her about missions.
At first she ignored it. But in continuation of pretending that the bird doesn't exist, it started turning more and more of a nagging parrot than an eagle. She wanted to kill it. But god knows what omen it would bring if she did kill a talking bird so decided to just go along and do the mission it keeps blabbering on.
Sheathing her also stolen sword back to her belt, she started walking away with the eagle landing on her shoulder.
"New mission!!! New mission!" The bird exclaimed through her ear.
"You've been too clingy, you damned eggshit." She hissed.
"New mission, L/n, Y/n! Head to Wysteria mansion to rest and recuperate!!!" The eagle exclaimed louder.
Oh. Some time off? Is that the new mission? Sweet!
The girl gave out a relieved sigh. "Good thing that's a good news, Eggshit. Or else I already had a roasted eagle on my stomach."
Well it was an empty threat. After all, the girl only ever ate human. Even a roasted bird tastes like soil no matter how deliciously cooked it will be.
"Ah, Eggshit, what's in the wysteria mansion?" She asked.
"Accomodation!!!"
"Do they have like, warm baths and soft beds?" She asked.

"All you need!"
"You know you're like, already a centimeter away from my ear right? Why do you have to scream like a slaughtered pig?"
"Because you're an idiot--"
The girl harshly grabbed the obnoxious bird's neck with her hand, yanking him off her shoulder as it started to flap its wings maniacally into the air trying to free itself. "Hah. You really wanna be a dogfood?" She asked, feeling irked from all the exclamation points that was stuck in her head. "I'm a kind person, y'know. But for a bird your caliber, I don't think you should be spreading your vocals so closely."
She tossed it upward, allowing it to maneuver itself in the air as it flies. "Idiot!!!" The bird still exclaimed as it fly in the air.
"You've got nerves." She hissed.
Reaching the closest Wysteria mansion would take her three days since she's been out on the far side slaughtering demons and keeping low profile when she's having a meal.
She'd stay two days from a demon infested area, abduct a human and eat then blame it all to thebdemon she will be killing after. It was actually easier to hunt in this world than in Tokyo's alleys. You could just grab people here but there, you're lucky if one decide to explore an empty alley and act all brave. Sometimes, they're not even worth eating.
Walking for two days, the girl was suddenly drawn by a unique smell. Her nose felt the aroma she couldn't set her craving for. The bird was with her as well, suddenly mentioning about an emergency mission.
"Emergency back up? Hah. Our pay should be higher because of too much overtime, y'know." She yawned, hopping into the tree branch. "So... is it that strong?" She asked, jumping from tree to tree in order to quicken her phase with the also rushing bird.
They stopped upon reaching a house. The smell of the marechi inside was faint. Something she haven't had for a while.
"So... there's a demon here?" She inquired the bird.
"Yes!" It's wings flocked further into the air.
The girl hopped off the branch, walking towards the sinister house as she entered the open door.
However, hearing a drumming sound, her location suddenly changed.
She continued sniffling in the air for some traces of the marechi, also catching scents from few others that was also inside including demons.
She hummed thoughtfully, finally started opening doors which changes everytime she hears the blob tapping of some type of drum she can't quite recall.
When the drum hit again, she was suddenly in front of two children. Both eyes looked at each other for a few seconds before both parties let out a surprised gasp.
"Shit kid. You scared me there for a sec..." Y/n held her chest. The pain still left its punch when she was shock earlier but quickly recupperated.
"A-are you one of the demon slayers too?" The girl nervously asked.
"Yeah. What are you two doing here?" She asked. The smell of marechi was now strong that she could certainly pinpoint it to the older child who was holding the instrument.
"The demon kidnapped me and started calling me a marechi!" The boy admitted with little courage he has, holding out a cry from his already swollen eyes. He must've cried a ton.
She nodded. "Well, you do smell like one, honestly." Y/n gave an accomodating smile. "I'll help you two get out of here. I smell two demons running wild here." She offered. Yet least deep down her system, she was feeling the torturous craving for the young boy's flesh.
I'll help your sister out of here... in return I'll have to eat you, kid.
She kept her calm smile. Trying her best to hide the urge to take a bite... but sadly, she shouldn't really be preying too much on children. Despite being such a monster, she always noted to herself that it felt so unethical... or at least, not eating children keeps her sanity intact.
This is Shuu's fault for having her try rare meals. That gourmet bastard has a lot of good stuff.
